AVOID IF SENSITIVE TO SMELLS or air pollution or you don't like being belittled…read more I asked for a room without oil diffusing, because the place stinks and I felt ill from it. The nurse told me that nothing is diffusing but she is what smells because she slathers herself in some oil to disinfect. 1) I like nurses to use proper cleaning techniques 2) the response should have been that she will go wash off or try to wash off the oil. But no. That didn't happen. So I tried to fill out the paperwork but the smell was awful. Then a guy that works there came in and said that it smells great. I said no, it doesn't. He asked what's wrong with me that I don't think it smells good. I said it made me feel sick and my sinuses don't like it. He told the nurse they should "throw her in the sauna." What?! I'm not the problem and I don't need to be thrown anywhere. Your crazy overuse of a concentrated oil is making me ill! I tried to finish the paperwork but I couldn't thing clearly enough to do it. I had to leave. So now I feel awful AND I didn't get a b12 shot. I'm totally disappointed because I'd have liked to use some of their other services but I just felt sick and put down.

We decided to move forward with upper and lower abdomen and flanks. Day 1 - Friday, day of treatment Mercedes had advised me to wear comfortable yoga clothes. Because of all the areas we were doing I was there about 3.5 hours. She took before pictures, and it was not uncomfortable or embarrassing at all. I then laid down and she made sure I was super comfortable with access to my phone, laptop, water. She then applied the first applicator to my abdomen. The sensation was not painful, it was cold for about a 8 minutes and then that area went numb. I could still feel a bit of suction feeling, but it was not painful. As we moved through area to area, Mercedes continued to make sure I was comfortable by adjusting pillows and the way I would lay, etc. Within 3. hours, we were done. My stomach and flanks were very cold to the touch and completely numb. I was a little sore so I was glad she had told me to wear stretchy clothes. They have two machines, the process went very quickly. That night was the only night I really felt any pain and needed some Pain relievers. Day 2 - I was a little swollen, and even though I was cleared to work out, I didn't feel like I could. Looking back, working out has been the best thing to deal with the swelling, so I wish I would have started some light walking or elliptical that day. Day 3 - still numb and swollen, but this is all to be expected. I took a walk on the treadmill. The "pain" on this day felt like I had done a million sit ups the day before. Days 4-5 - still numb and swollen, but swelling was starting to recede. Day 7-14 by day 7 I was back to my full workout routine (which is quite extensive), and it felt good to feel like the stubborn fat cells were flushing out of my body. I was so excited and ready to see results. I was ready to book my second treatment at 4 weeks. Because we wanted to see if I could see results after 4, we decided to hold the second treatment off until 8 weeks. It has now been just over 6 weeks, and I am truly seeing the results I was looking for! Last week I went of vacation and felt comfortable wearing a two-piece!!! I am looking forward to the second treatment and even possibly trying some different areas. I think I want to try my arms, because I am so pleased with the results. Mercedes, Bridget and the entire team at Cooltouch took such good care of me if I had any questions or concerns throughout the process, and now I can't wait to go back for more and share my results.

I've only written two reviews in my life -- one for a patio installation, and now this. I'm a…read moresuccessful, educated, professional, family man, and I was so alarmed by how transactional this doctor's approach was that I had to speak up. Dr. James Nikoleit walked in 10 minutes late with no apology, told me to "sit down" when I asked a simple question from one of their own pamphlets, and rushed through the entire visit. Told me 'I don't have to read it to him, he knows what it is, now put that back and sit down'. When I explained I'd actually started feeling better after stopping the medication he prescribed, he said, "maybe we should have increased the dosage instead, not stopping it". When I asked more questions on symptoms, etc. - he got very short, got up and said it sounded like we're done, no more time. He got visibly upset when I told him he showed up 10min late to me. He walked out. That summed up the visit -- no listening, no curiosity, just an automatic push for another prescription and another billable cycle. I could feel and see his pivot when he learned of lost 'business'. Weeks later, I can now say with certainty: I feel 100% better off the medication he wanted me to take more of. It confirmed what I suspected -- this practice runs like a revenue engine, where patients are time-boxed, rushed, and billed, and where keeping the prescription annuity flowing seems more important than genuine care or outcomes. In past visits, he spent more time talking about his old Porsche or golf clubs than my health. But I get told there is no time to talk about my medical concerns. What?! It's clear the focus is volume, not value. For more context: a family member of mine was misdiagnosed by another doctor in this same practice -- told his symptoms were "just depression." He suffered a major stroke the next day. And just this week, a family friend saw this same doctor and left in tears after being cut off mid-sentence and told she needed a "separate visit" to ask her questions. Too many things too close to home. This office has become a transaction factory, not a place of care. If you want a doctor who actually listens and cares about outcomes -- not billing codes -- go somewhere else.
