Love's is a sight for sore eyes when traveling. We came across this particular Love's location…read morewhile traveling back from having visited Aspen. Gas prices were fair. Restrooms and the store itself were clean. I like that Love's carries their own private label for many products. I've always found these private label products of theirs to be of good quality and priced lower than the brand names. This specific Love's location carried less of the private label Love's merchandise. The snacks that I wanted to purchase were unavailable here. Despite the fact that they did not carry what I wanted, it was still a nice pit stop on our way back to our friend's home.

As for prices, they're high everywhere these days, and this place is no worse than any other. One thing I love about the Bailey Loaf N Jug is the friendly staff, which is the main reason for changing my review from 1 star to 5. Recently there was a major power outage in my neighborhood that lasted for days. On the second or third day I showed up at Loaf N Jug for some much needed coffee (it's located about 4 miles from my house and the power was on there.) When I arrived, the area around the coffee machine was cordoned off because the floor was wet and slippery. An employee noticed that I looked ready to cry and she raced over to ask if I was okay. I pointed to the coffee area and whimpered I hadn't had coffee in days, and it was my whole reason for getting out of bed and coming there. I'm pretty sure I looked and sounded like a cranky toddler. She gave me a hug, ignored the barrier, poured a huge cuppa, added the sweeteners and cream for me, and only charged $1 for it. I'm glad she didn't slip and fall. Her kindness (and that heavenly cup of caffeine) meant everything that day.
