It is well worth making a reservation on the website to visit. There are also special activities to sign up for ranging from making a succulent "wall" to hiking with the lovely hiking goats in Wissahickon Park. Some yoga with the baby goats also sounds like a real treat and challenge to try one day.

Basically, you sign up and pay in advance, and then every week for 23 weeks beginning in June you get delicious, farm fresh produce and, if you like, eggs, fruit, herbs, yoghurt, and cheese. N & I got a half share and an egg share last summer, and this summer we're adding a fruit share as well. A half share gets you 6 items each week and a dozen eggs every other week. The fruit share will provide a selection of fruits every other week as well. Both quality and convenience make Red Earth Farm special. First of all, most CSAs just give you whatever veggies they want. With Red Earth Farm, you go online each week and choose from the produce they're harvesting that week.
