Had an al pastor taco. Was pretty yummy! Not my fav taco but not bad. It had pickled onions if you're into that. People working were lovely

Food/drinks: tacos were yum but maybe not worth ~$6 each but the OG burrito was SOO good!! One of the best burritos I've her had Atmosphere: nothing too special, some high chair seating 2 tables Service: good! Average! Price: pricey!! But burrito was worth the ~$14 read more

Bad Boy Burrito - Quesa birria & el pastor - Mexican Near Me - Long Beach, New York

"Bad Boy Burrito is a Mexican-style burrito joint and taqueria located in the heart of Long Beach, New York. Led by Executive Chef Owner Matt Serra, they offer a unique menu that combines the traditions of Mexican cuisine with modern American twists, using the freshest and highest quality ingredients to deliver an unforgettable dining experience. With a diverse menu that includes burritos, tacos, quesadillas, house-made desserts, and smoothies, Bad Boy Burrito caters to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences, offering many gluten-free and vegan options." I was in the mood for street tacos after spending a beautiful day on Long Beach. Bad Boy Burrito offers numerous options: tacos, burritos, chips and dips, build your own burritos and bowls, and quesadillas. I was craving a shrimp taco and veggie taco. The shrimp tacos come chili marinated with sliced avocado, mango habanero salsa and lime. There is a choice of corn or flour tacos. The Veggie tacos come with seasonal vegetables. The shrimp taco was scrumptious: grilled shrimp with the mango salsa and a squeeze of lime combined is the go to taco. The Veggie tacos, was a bit disappointing; I love zucchini and green and red peppers. However, I wish there were other veggies like tomatoes, grilled onions, avocado etc. Additionally, the sour cream overwhelmed, too much. There is limited seating and Mexican murals adorn the walls. The staff is friendly and accommodating. This is a great spot to hit before or after beach or to eat on the beach.. read more

I ordered a burrito and could only take 2-3 bites before I had to stop eating it. The food had almost no flavor or seasoning--not even enough salt. I was extremely disappointed with the quality, especially for Mexican food. I called the restaurant to ask about getting a refund because the meal was honestly inedible to me. The kitchen seriously needs to improve its seasoning, preparation, and overall quality control. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst burritos I've had, and I would not recommend this place based on my experience. read more

I came here with 3 of my friends after having a few beers at Bright Eye. We ordered Queso and chips to share for the table. The queso was smooth and creamy. There were also way more than enough tortilla chips for the 4 of us to share. We also ordered fries to share. The fries were amazingly crisp. My husband and I ordered The OG and the SoCal burrito - we ended up sharing and took half of the burrito each so that we were able to add some variety to the meal. The SoCal burrito had fries stuffed into it and it was just perfect. We were the only people seated into the small restaurant. Our food came out super quickly and the staff was very friendly. read more

Although the food is tasty, and have previously reviewed. Service over the phone is horrible!! BAD BOYS BURRITOS IS A SMALL HOPPING restaurant in the heart of Long Beach. We ate our food in the restaurant, which had a few high tops and seats on the side of the store. The majority of people seemed to take out. The girls who took our order were very friendly and the food came out quickly and fresh. The portions were large and everything was delicious. I will definately be coming back! read more

This place only gets two stars because the gentleman who took my order was friendly. Unfortunately, that was the only highlight of my visit. I paid $6 for two tacos that were completely dry and flavorless. You can't seriously call that birria--it had no color, no seasoning, nothing. The "consomé" that came with it was basically just warm water with a few pieces of red onion floating in it. The girl working the front lacked all customer service skills. She was handing out food for three different people named Christina, and when my friend asked if the order she had was hers, she snapped, "Well I don't know, there's a lot of Christinas here right now." Really? On top of that, it was extremely hot inside with barely any seating. It was uncomfortable just waiting for our food. The salsa tasted like raw tomato--no salt, no flavor--and the chips were cold and an odd shade of bright red. Overall, very disappointing. Definitely not worth the hype or the price. read more

Stopped here to pick up a kids chicken tenders with fries for my nephew. Chicken tenders are actually a small piece of chicken Cutlet they cut up into bits and fries that were old, hard and cold. And they do not give any dipping sauce at all. Give it 3 stars cause I assume the tacos and burritos they specialize in have to be pretty decent. read more

Been craving some low key, fast causal Mexican and Bad Boy hit the spot. Big portions too. I had the So Cal burrito bowl. Get it with chipotle mayo, you won't be sorry. Fried plantains we're fab. The pollo pollo quesadilla was good too. Not a huge fan of the wings but they were very meaty, just needed to be a bit saucier. I liked the spicy queso mac but it wasn't spicy at all. At home I added buffalo sauce and it was SO GOOD! Food was ready in 10 minutes which was surprising for how busy they were on a Friday night. read more

Got delivery for the first time, tried the vegan burrito, wicked nachos, seasoned fries, bbq pulled pork quesadilla- showed up on time, hot, accurate. The fries were tasty, crispy and crinkle cut. The vegan burrito is heavy.. it's at least 2 servings, packed with zucchini, cactus, onions, rice, beans - I added hot sauce and it was really good. The nachos are also a massive portion, they add A LOT of toppings (queso, guac, beans etc) so I would get an extra order of chips so they're crispy and you can finish the toppings. The quesadilla like everything else was huge and amazing. Would recommend all of it! read more

Food is very good, the chipotle chicken tacos got a lot to them, as you need is 2 and you're set. However, I would advise not ordering the nachos to go--they must be eaten right away! By the time we got home they had turned into a mush mess read more

food is very flavorful and consistent quality every time! although quaint, nice space, vibe and service.

I see this is already mentioned as problem. I ordered thru uber. all the food was wonderful except mine. There is no place to put a note so I called. The hostess was lovely... but that was not a help. My order ended up meat on a flour tortilla. She did not tell the kitchen. No manager on site. Go figure. So.. no help. Well for one thing they're menu ordering system is annoying because if you blink your eye for a minute they just kick you out of it and you have to re-order and it's quite annoying that you have to keep re-ordering I'm on the fourth time and now I'm kind of pissed off because it won't put my order through read more

I beg to differ with the previous reviews. I love the service at Bad Boy Burrito! I've been a customer for over 3 years and each time is better than the last. I often have modifications and they always adhere to them and go above and beyond to meet them. They are speedy, delicious, and ALWAYS personal with their experience. Someone at work recommended Bad Boy Burrito in Long Beach and I could not be more happy that they did. I had the Bistec & Cheese quesadilla which has carne asada, carmelized onions, avacado, Oaxaca cheese and a cheddar crust. Not only was it the best quesadilla I ever had, it was huge . Steak was cooked perfectly and the onions, avacado and cheeses were the perfect addition to it . I also had a side of chips with grilled jalapeno queso. The (very large bag of) chips was warm when I got them, the queso was warm, spicy and also perfect place to dip my quesadillas. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and the price was more than reasonable for the large amount of food that I got. Highly recommend this place, you will never go back to a chain burrito place again after this. read more

If you're looking for a spot for Mexican food near the Long Beach train station I'd definitely recommend Bad Boy Burrito! I followed other Yelp reviewers' advice and ordered the Bistec and Cheese quesadilla and I was very happy with this selection. Although at first I thought it was overpriced at $17.95, I completely changed my mind once I saw the size of the quesadilla and realized the quality. It was plenty of food for two people and it was delicious! Filled to the brim with grilled steak, caramelized onions, avocado and oaxaca cheese. The outside had cheddar cheese crunch which was a nice touch. They also gave a generous amount of sour cream on the side plus some romaine. I would definitely return here! read more

So good! I've gotten Bad Boy so many times now and have yet to be disappointed. My all time favorite is their SoCal burrito! It's the perfect burrito. Their shop is small, with only a couple tables, so I always order to go. They have always been quick and on time and I've never had to wait long for my order. It's a little pricier than I normally pay for a burrito but you definitely get what you pay for! It's a good size and very filling! I've brought multiple friends here who have tried various items and they've always liked it as well. Highly recommend! read more

Tacos we're so yummy, carne asada and birria tacos were are our favorite then shrimp tacos follow. Chicken tacos were great as well. Pina coloda was sooo good! Horchata was way to sweet;not a fan. Highly recommend this spot; check it out! Oh! The art was amazing lol definitely a picture spot. read more

Wait? Do I get to be the first one to tell you how AMAZING this place is? Every time I've eaten here has been consistently delicious and every person I've told to try it, has also fallen in love. My highlights are the Birria tacos, the pork belly, the Mexican street corn, and the churros. The flavor of the meat is to die for, you can tell a lot of time and love went into each meat. The pork belly melts in your mouth. The toppings and flavorings on all of the tacos have been fresh and absolutely perfect. The churros are an amazing end to the meal. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The caramel sauce just adds the perfect touch. Prices are more than fair for the food you get and they always pack it so well. Super happy LB has a place like this now and I hope they stay around for a long time! So now go get yourself some tacos! read more

Ordered takeout, and the boritto and salsa were good. Would recommend. Small inside to sit, but service was good.

Came in here with a friend in search of a decent burrito the other week. He got the "gringo" burrito, and while I can't remember the name of mine we'll just call it the "hot Cheeto" one! Both were excellent, while a little pricey they were huge and filled both of us up. They also came with a complimentary side of chips. Ambience was nice, and staff was extremely friendly! New favorite spot in LB. The Bistec and Cheese quesadilla was one of the best things I've ever had. I wish I took a photo of it because it looked just as good as it tasted. Let me write that out again for you, BISTEC AND CHEESE QUESADILLA. Please go try it and thank me later! My fiancé and I split the quesadilla and the La Gringa burrito (which was also delicious) and we were not disappointed! The people at Bad Boy Burrito are also very friendly and helpful. We opted to stay and dine in but they were also popping with take out orders while we were there. Love to see small local shops so busy! May have been our first visit, but definitely won't be our last! P.S. As someone who green up loving bands like All Time Low and Fall Out Boy, the playlist was on point. We spent the entire time we were there singing along. Thank you Bad Boy Burrito for an overall amazing first experience! read more
