We came here to throw some axes, but of course ordering a few snacks and drinks...the staff here are super nice and our sever was serving us and coaching us how to throw axes. When we were there, they were not busy, so he took time to show us and correcting us what not to do. I became an "axe-pert" now. Food was typical bar food...good enough for this kind of setting. They also have live music...

Enjoying the great weather while throwing axes.

We had a small group on vacation in Nashville and wanted to take a "Broadway break" so we decided to go axe throwing. This place was within walking distance to our hotel. It was a GREAT place! It was a beautiful day so we asked to use the outdoor stalls. We had the whole area to ourselves (on a Tuesday afternoon). Our trainer, bartender, server (male) Sam was amazing. He was extremely attentive and patient with our group and made us feel super comfortable. This place is pretty large, has a full bar, great menu options, and CLEAN bathrooms. I would highly recommend when you're in downtown Nashville and your liver needs a break from Broadway. 5-star all the way!

We only tried the soft pretzel to snack on. It was good - surprisingly, it was cooked with a LOT of butter! Tasted more like table bread than a pretzel in my opinion. Our group had sodas, beers, and margaritas. The margs were especially good. The axe throwing was a fun activity. You can rent a space by the hour, which was just enough time for two games for our party of 5. Service is excellent. Adam, our server / coach / judge / hype man, was super friendly and made it a great experience. We visited on a Friday during the day, so there was plenty of space available. I can see it being pretty packed on the weekends or evenings. However, we were happy for it to be on the quieter side so that we didn't have loud groups in the areas on the sides of us. Would recommend as a unique thing to do in the area!

We have done axe throwing at home in Boston so we decided to go here. Was a fun time and staff was very nice and educated you on techniques and how to have fun safely!

After a day of shopping my friends and I were looking for something fun to do. We decided to give axe throwing a shot and we had the best time! The staff was very helpful in giving us tips and pointers on how to hold/throw the axe as well as giving great menu recommendations. This is a great spot and a great alternative to a regular restaurant.

Great staff. Decent drinks. Pretty good chow. The axes are nice and the lanes are good. Clean and easy to find. Live music on occasion.

Came here to watch the Manchester City vs. Newcastle Futbol game. The vibes were awesome. The food matched the vibes. Their beer I've been told is pretty tasty and the food was even better. They have available gluten-free options and I have to say they were pretty great. The salad with brisket (which was amazingly tender and fatty) and the tater tots were highlights for sure. We did not try the axe-throwing but from what I observed of other parties participating, it seems like a good time. Sam was our server and she was attentive, kind, and overall wonderful. I highly recommend coming here if you need a fun night out or if you are a Futbol fan looking for a great place to watch the next game.

This was a really fun double date for my husband and I and our couple friends. We paid 42 dollars per person for two hours of play. They have bar-type food available: pretzels, fries, burgers, chicken tenders. They also have beer and mixed drinks. Prices and quality are as expected and get the job done. Each lane has a server/coach. Ours was Casey, who was nice, attentive, and gave us regular feedback on how to throw the various axes and knives. She answered all my questions without hesitation. The facility is clean, tons of windows and space. Seating and lounge spaces throughout. Parking on site. They change the boards out regularly. There was some maintenance going on while we were there. They also have live entertainment some evenings. I feel we got a lot for the value and would love to do it again.

This place is an absolute blast! We were in town visiting from Indiana and had our cousins visiting from Europe with us. Staff was so friendly, and were great coaching us on how to throw better! Cocktails and appetizers were delicious and it was a great place for any size group. Fun painted murals and decor made it a great spot even for a quick drink and photo opp! We loved it and will definitely be back!

My buddy threw a "No kids. Adult happy hour" here for about 10 of us and it was blast. Easy check-in and waiver signing, quick, but detailed instructions on throwing the axes, and then we were off to the races! It was a little tricky throwing the axes at first, but once I switched to single handed versus the two hands set up, I was a bullseye hitting mofo. I think there are about 16 throwing lanes here with plenty of space to hang and mingle. I do suggest making a reservation, because by the time we left the place was pretty packed and it was a Wednesday! The bar area is awesome and is right next to the stage area. There's an amazing view of DT and the Convention center from the bar and I believe there's an outdoor space as well. The food was ok, just some basic bar foods; cheese curds, sliders, etc. The parking here is tight and there is a lot of construction happening around here as well. So be prepared to circle the block for a space. Super fun experience and I highly recommend trying it!

Bad Axe from a Bad A**

Bad Axe is Bad A**. What a great experience, the atmosphere was vibrant and the staff as super super friendly and helpful (Ashley). A great place for a family, friends or colleagues. Axe throwing isn't as hard as you'd think and actually a great time. You wouldn't expect the food to be anything but substance here but it was actually pretty good. The pork nachos and fried pickles were delicious! This place is worth checking out we had a great experience.

The food was good but the service and drinks not so much. I visited the restaurant with a large group on a Friday night so we were mindful of a possible wait time because it was a busy night and we had a large party. However our server was rude (abruptly handing us or placing our plates on the table) and we didn't really feel welcomed while visiting. There were other big parties there as well and we seemed to be the only ones to receive the bad service. The axe throwing experience was fun and the staff member who helped us was very kind and helpful in the process. Ps. You need to wear closed-toe shoes in order to axe throw, but they also have boot rentals if needed. If you're visiting, I recommend the Mac & cheese plate!

We had a great time axe throwing.

We had a larger (10) group celebrating two birthdays and the staff handled things without breaking a sweat. We arrived a few minutes late for our reservation but it was no bother as our table was still being prepared. On that note: highly recommend a reservation, this is a popular place! Once we were seated we had the pleasure of Nichelle, a wonderful waitress. She was on top of everything we needed or wanted and we had very little wait time for her return. Great service! And the food... DELICIOUS! As you can imagine, our group of ten had a good selection across the menu and there was not a single person who was disappointed. Everyone loved their amazing food. What tops everything off is the atmosphere here. It's popular so, as you can imagine, it's a bit noisy. However, I like to call it "lively". And they really nailed the physical design, so inviting and upscale. I'll stop there and simply say: check this place out, it's great!

Music wasn't too loud, the interior design is great, comfortable chairs and booths. Very cool bar. Price point is perfect. The food was solid, my friend loved his, I think I just got the wrong thing. I got the tortellini with chicken (blackened). It just felt like the chicken was premade and then heated up. Same with the pasta - like it was store bought (6/10) I heard great things about this place and the menu is very strong, but if I could do it over again I would've ordered the French dip or the burger. Never got to try the apps which also look ridiculously good (wagyu skewer bites, rock and roll shrimp, etc)

The small signage made it a little difficult to find inside the Marriott (see pictures), but from the moment we walked in, heard the live piano player and saw the dining area - we knew this would be a great experience. We started off by sharing orders of Lobster Bisque (see picture) and Burrata with Toast (see pictures). We really enjoyed both of them - the Lobster Bisque was so creamy and smooth and the Burrata was cool, fresh and clean. They were a great combination to start our dinner experience and I would recommend both of them. Since it was a Friday during lent, my wife opted for the BBQ Shrimp Pasta (see picture) and I went with the Daily Fish Special on Blue Corn Grits (see picture). As we always do when we go out, we shared our plates and really enjoyed both of them. The BBQ Shrimp Pasta was rich, buttery and smooth and the Fish Special was a tasty white, flaky and blackened fish served on a bed of rich, creamy blue corn grits. Here again, both are highly recommended. While it is one of your more expensive area stops for dinner, you will appreciate the food quality and presentation at Gannons Nashville for your next special occasion. We had read somewhere that Acme Feed & Seed (in an historic 1890 building) offered a quieter alternative. We gathered around a nice table near the stage on the first floor, and maybe there were a dozen other people there? Yet, on the next Broadway block things were in full swing? We weren't complaining, but wondered why? The first floor at Acme has been described as a high-energy "Funky Tonk" atmosphere featuring a main stage for live music, a large bar, and fast-casual dining. Our band during our stage was even a little different than that, and what an enjoyable group is was! The Mudbug Stompers brought us the sounds of old-time jug bands, Dixieland jazz, blues, trains, baseball, and crawfish boils. Although this is a Nashville Band, we could have easy been on or around Bourbon Street in NOLA. I was particularly impressed with the trumpet player and the lead singer who played a mean mandolin. Add the string base, sax, and fiddle, and we experienced a very impressive whole. We were highly entertained and engaged, and we're still talking about the experience!
