If you want to literally turn your body into an ultimate machine this is the place to be! Its great for both men and women. The environment inside almost makes you feel like you're outdoors on a rugged terrain. You'll be working out to great music (pretty much anything thats popular in the club right now) getting pumped. Its clean and they have locker rooms for both men and women. They have a variety of classes here. You can either pay per class or you can join and pay for a monthly membership fee and take all of the classes you'd like. I really like the instructors here. I would say thats one of the main reasons why I like it here. They are ALL fit and really care about their health which is important and beneficial as a client for motivation and support. The instructors WILL push you to the limit and beyond but thats what seeing good results is all about! Fatiguing those muscles to build them back up!! Overall the vibe is awesome and theres also a sense of comradery as well. This place is definitely BAD ASS!

The spinning class was taught by Paul and he pushed us HARD. He also made sure everyone was all set in the beginning, had a set of weights for arm exercises, and sometimes check people's forms while spinning. He kept me motivated to keep going and had great music. One thing I didn't like was that the bikes don't have a number for the resistance level; you just turn a knob and judge it based on how difficult it feels riding the bike. My opinion is that a quantifiable factor makes way for measuring improvement in fitness levels and health. The total body conditioning class was taught by Tom and I don't want to give away too much, but the class was amazing. It truly was total body; I came away with everything feeling sore in a good way. There were two sets of each workout (which equates to a round, for me) and then we jump rope 100 times. Each set had a variety of moves, some of them new to me, and I've already done many workout videos and been to other fitness classes. The workout area was also unforgiving yet encouraging. It was dim and mostly black, with the materials needed for the workouts all set up with minimal space taken up. However, we faced each other and Tom when working out, so this egged us on. In response to other review(s): Yes, this place isn't very big overall and doesn't seem to have the locker room that conventional gyms have. I always come in my gym clothes and leave in my gym clothes, and I literally only bring my phone and a water bottle. I also can't speak to how much each class costs and whether it's worth it or not, but judging by experiences themselves, I certainly enjoyed the classes.

The owners are amazing, they interact with everybody they teach everybody. Honestly every instructor there just wants you to win every fucking time you take a class. You'll love this place! Best crew, best classes, best vibe in Brooklyn, I'd even be willing to say best vibe in general. If you're from Manhattan don't let the distance sway you..it's worth the ride #promise. Each class has an element of athletic training..if you like that, you'll fit right in! Steve, Tommy, you guys ROCK, Thanks for bringing that heat!

The small space has all the equipment you might need and/or what you might find in a much larger space. It's much more than I would want to keep at home. Evans takes a, highly tailored, approach to your needs. He mixes up the exercises during each session. Much better than I could do on my own. I had surgery about a year ago, and still favor my leg. That hasn't been a problem, and all of this has picked up where my physical therapy left off. Evans also provides positive reinforcement, and no judgement. I was having some lower back pain during my most recent session and we spent the second half of it on the massage table. Even that time was informative and helpful to me. Whatever it takes! You'll make progress quickly. That's what these guys do. Worth it!

Time and time again I've gone through this routine, before I realized that, to me, gyms are just intimidating. I figured, maybe I should find a small space and get 1 on 1 training. I found this place. I started training with Evans, and after my first meeting with him, I decided I had to booked 10 trainings. During the initial meeting, Evans really went through what my expectations, previous experiences, and my overall fitness level, before tailoring sessions to fit my needs. I've had 5 sessions to date, and am just thrilled with the quality and thought Evans puts into each one of my sessions. Wholeheartedly recommend training with Evans! If you have any reservations, put them aside and try at least one session with him. It'll be worth it!

I decided to go check this place out for a morning session and it unlocked something that I needed to release. I've heard stories of friends who have cried in yoga classes but it never hit me like that until my savasana release in Brooklyn. Yoooooo! The vinyasa class itself was great. The studio is very inviting and cozy and I could tell a lot of the students were regulars. The owner was wonderful as our guide. It was a nice mix of hard, medium and chill poses. Good music, great vibes. Very clean space. Then as I laid there in savasana, tears just flowed out of me. Idk what it was, I wasn't sad. Just grateful to be able to finally move my body after all the inevitable schlepping and revisit the place I grew up. Travel can be stressful and I'd had a killer trip to DC for work the week before and visiting family always drags it out of me. And then I found this wonderful place with amazing women and I got to release what I was holding in and back. The owner could tell my back was arching when I laid flat so she put yoga blocks under my feet to flatten my spine out more and this adjustment is a game changer! Who knew?! I've been to 100's of yoga classes at many places over the years and nobody pointed this out to me before. I use this technique all the time now. Coming out of it wasn't awkward either. The space and people just let me release what I needed to and sent me on my way to make another bagel stop lol.

I first came in because of an offer for a first class free. My rep showed me how everything worked, including the heartbeat monitor on the arm band, which they give you for free on your first visit. An instructor walked me around the studio explaining the class format and made sure I was comfortable with water and a towel. When class started he periodically checked in with me but was not overbearing. I loved how while everyone worked out individually, seeing everyone's stats on the screen did make it feel like a team effort. I really appreciated learning about the different heart rate "zones" and later did research on this when I got home. My sales rep explained the pricing tiers yet was not pushy which I appreciated and I signed up within the week. The app made it very easy to book, see stats, etc. The club has fun challenges each month and really does have a sense of community. It was always clean and you can tell instructors here really care about the members. I only quit because I ended up moving to another neighborhood but this gym truly did change my physique while I was a member, making me stronger and noticeably had an impact on my cardio endurance. I'd recommend this gym to anyone.

This location stands out for its thoughtful amenities: they offer gym and shower towels and a full locker room--something you don't always find at other storefront studios. OTF Park Slope is also a fun way to meet more people in the neighborhood, and the Instagram shout-outs add a nice touch of motivation. I hope corporate OTF will upgrade the app and the fitness band to more modern tech - I'd love AI analysis of my stats. I recommend Orangetheory Park Slope to anyone looking for a fresh, encouraging way to get into fitness.
