A vinyl fence was installed in my backyard, and it looks aesthetically pleasing. The fencing system includes a lifetime warranty and requires minimal maintenance. Cleaning it with soap and water as needed is sufficient. The installation process lasted eight hours, and the crew was courteous and focused on their work. Great job! read more

Horrible customer service, bad business all around. Was told there'd be no issue moving rocks out the way. Than the next person came and made a huge deal about it than told me I'd be charged extra to install my fence where the asphalt is when the first guy said there's no issues. They can't even keep their stories together and on the same page. Than after 3 weeks of doing nothing they decided to submit my permit a week before my project. The permit should have been submitted weeks ago they sat on their butt and did nothing and now the permit isn't done. So they're delaying another two weeks I said I had to have it done at a specific date. Now they're refusing to return my money even though they didn't meet the deadline they set. Paying $26,000 they charge over market price on materials and labor they claim is 60 percent off which isn't and they can't even keep a date they told me is ridiculous. Edit to add yes the full deposit was refunded after threatening to sue. And never did I say it was the entire cost off but it's not 60 percent off labor like you claim it is. read more

They are listed in Maquoketa, IA. My address is Anamosa...approximately 20 miles away. I sent a message for a quote and some guy called me back and said that I was out of their area. That is not what is listed on their website. It states Eastern Iowa. What a disappointment. If they're going to advertise Eastern Iowa, then they need to change their on-line information if they can't travel 20 miles. Their map of coverage even covers my area. Their response is bull. Their map shows they cover my area. Other than a possible building permit, there was no legitimate reason they couldn't have provided a quote. They were my first choice... read more

They were prompt and efficient. The workers were very professional and friendly. I wish they also did siding on the house because I would hire them for that job as well. They offer to save quite a bit of money for paying cash which made it more affordable. read more

The crew was amazing. The foreman is virtually irreplaceable. He is meticulous about all aspects about what he and his crew do. From the tear down of my old deck, the foundation of the new deck, and the most important part, the top of the deck. There was not a screw or nail hole left unplugged (to virtually invisibility), every corner cut and mitered to perfection, not a gap or error to be found. Their materials are without exception, the very best. I am difficut to please because I expect things to be well done. I laughed with them because they took all the fun out of complaing because they left me NOTHING to point out. PERFECTION. Every day the gave 110%. They're experienced, personable and professions front office, sales and trades personnel are above reproach. We found the cost associated with our build to be more than reasonable. A rating of 10-Stars is more appropriate to our experience with Backyard Vinyl. We're extremely pleased with how our new deck turned out. It truly is a beautiful deck. One might even say a work of skilled art. There would be no hesitation on our part to recommend Backyard Vinyl to our friends and family. The crews working for Backyard Vinyl show up on time or ahead of schedule. They work their shift breaking only for lunch. As such, our old deck was demoed and the new deck completed in two days.
