I haven't visited NY during the October-November months in some time, so I was surprised to see this elaborate setup while driving by. The first thing Nancy said was we got to get a photo there!! So that's what we did. The photo op area is a well-built play area for kids, there is actually a slide and ladder on the backside of the man-made pumpkin, little ones can climb inside and look out through the eyes for a fun photo. There are several other photo op areas, not quite elaborate as this one that adults can join in on as well. Farmer Jon's has a unique selection of pumpkins, gords, seasonal flowers, yard art, clay and concrete sculptures, and more for sale for a reasonable price. If you're in the area I recommend stopping in to see what they have to offer.

We have a far drive so he made sure to double up tying our tree on the roof of our car. It wasn't too crowded or overwhelming like some of the other places. Everyone was wearing masks, too. The first is simple and contemporary, the second involved an intricate pattern of colorful tiles forming wall-size images. Sara worked with us on the design, asking many questions to understand our aesthetic aims and practical needs, and offering a variety of options for us to choose among to achieve our goals. She also provided a variety of very effective ideas and solutions, considering the physical constraints of the (relatively small) spaces, to ensure the best use of spaces and to create a very open feel in both bathrooms, all in a cost-effective manner. The actual construction was done in an extremely professional manner by workers who were not only highly-skilled but also friendly, considerate of our needs, and responsive to our questions and concerns as the projects progressed. Particularly impressive, amazing really, was the tile work performed by Cliff. The colorful bathroom involved laying more than 1,000 tiles, and cutting more than 100 tiles to create the intricate design. It also involved the fitting of the many tiles to very close tolerance specifications. Cliff was both masterful and highly conscientious in completing this tile work. The result is stunning. In addition, along the way in both bathrooms, specific questions arose about alternative approaches to implementing features of the design. Cliff identified and raised these questions for us to think about, and he offered aesthetically pleasing solutions. In short, Cliff's work was thoughtful, technically masterful, and informed by his strong sense of aesthetic beauty. We are most impressed by Kitchen and Bath World for their general approach, their implementation, and the final product in renovating both bathrooms. Kitchen and Bath World has our highest recommendation.

Thursday arrived with significant work left to be done with Friday deadline. Work was rushed from then on and the end result showed it. Paint job was terrible. Tile floor was also cobbed. Much other evidence of hurry up and finish attitude. Issues were addressed a week later after several calls and waiting around for work to be completed again. Overall a very stressful , inconvenient and unimpressive experience. Felt our little job wasn't a priority . Would not recommend this company as they seem to have too much work to handle with reliable, satisfactory work for every job taken on.

However when the job started I didn't realize Jeff wouldn't be involved much at all. Instead the Foreman running the job didn't share the same values as Jeff, He is actually a complete HACK and I would never let him in my home again. Jeff's price was by far not the cheapest but I thought it would be worth it for a job well done. Instead all the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC was done by the foreman who clearly has no business to be in that line of work. It was all done incorrectly, with many shortcuts taken. He also lied and cheated his way through every inspection process that clearly needed to be done. After many missed deadlines, a job that was estimated to take 8 weeks was stretched to over 20 weeks where I was finally forced to remove this company from the job and spend more time and money finishing with other contractors. After just a few short months I am already having issues with the work McDonald Construction performed.
