May not even be in business any more. Brian came out to my house several weeks ago and I showed him…read morewhat I needed done. He emailed me an estimate and I contacted him later to start on my first project. I bought a Rubbermaid resin shed and he agreed to assemble it. It's been 4 weeks since I bought it. It's rained every day he was scheduled to come until last Friday. He emailed me that morning and said he could not come because he thought he had food poisoning. Later that day I emailed and asked if he was feeling better, if so could he do it Saturday because there was 0 % chance of rain. I did not get a reply. I figured he might still be feeling poorly so I didn't contact him again on the weekend. I realized I had his business card , called and he said he was just getting ready to email me. He agreed to come today , if there was no rain. I emailed yesterday afternoon and told him it was clearing up today. No response, I called the number on his card, there was no answer but a voice mail repeated a number that's not even in Michigan. I emailed again last night , nothing. I called the number twice today , it's now DISCONNECTED. No reply to my email since. The only reason he got a star is because #1 I had no choice and #2 he DID pick up the shed from Home Depot in his truck because I don't have a big enough trunk. I can't fathom why he would do that but stand me up on the actual work.

We just purchased a Rainbow series castle playset through Kids Gotta Play and had a wonderful…read moreexperience! Alex went above and beyond in helping us get set up to build it ourselves and giving us so many tips ahead of time. We started out looking at Lifetime playsets but once we compared the actual size of these sets to a Rainbow, there was really no comparison in terms of build quality and longevity. The Rainbow can accommodate little kids and big kids of all sizes and I have so much peace of mind knowing it's strong and sturdy enough to hold everyone safely. We've got kids ranging from 2-13 years old playing on this set everyday and they all love it for different reasons. We ended up building this ourselves because we didn't want to wait for the installation lead time. The poor quality of the instruction manual is the only area I cannot give Rainbow five stars (which is a reflection of Rainbow and not Kids Gotta Play). The instructions combined way too many steps into a single diagram on each page and used vague wording or not enough wording to explain the steps. We luckily had the help of a family member who is also a handyman. And Alex made himself available by phone to help answer questions when we still weren't sure on something which was so helpful. Other than that we're so happy with the purchase. I talked to Amy, Stephanie, and Jenny as well and they were all helpful in the decision process! It was so worth it to buy a playset through a local storefront where we could try out the sets in person, decide on options, and have real people in the store who know about the product and could answer any question about it.

UPDATE: after escalating our issues the only way we knew how I must give a big thanks to Amy…read moreGurnow. Amy took ownership of our issues and concerns and worked to get them corrected quickly. Amy stayed in contact with me through the entire resolution process and provided a lot of great information to us. Thank you Amy for making our situation better and getting our boys playscape fixed.
