My wife is experiencing a lot of sciatica pain and we were really looking forward to this service because of the wonderful reviews. Yesterday I called to set up an appointment for my wife. I spoke with Brittany on the phone to ask about her services and availability. Brittany provided the earliest date and time of her next appointment. I explained I would need to confirm with my wife if that appointment time and date would work and call her back. Brittany said to text her back as she was with a client. No problem at all I said. I texted her back 25 minutes later to confirm the appointment as asked, however we did not receive a text back. I called Brittany back later that day and got her voicemail so I left a message. Ghosted. We didn't get a text or call back. read more

I gave birth to my first 2 children under the loving care of midwife Lindsey Meehleis. I felt completely respected and listened to. I had some interesting challenges during both pregnancies and Lindsey knew just what to do which put me at ease and the Chiropractic support from Dr Britney Cicon I received when my son was breech till 38 weeks and when my daughter needed adjustments after birth was beyond amazing. Having been to other chiropractors I was thoroughly impressed. I have since moved out of state and am having my 3rd home birth and wish Lindsey could be there so badly. This review is long overdue! Dr. Brittney Cicon is a miracle worker! At about 7 months pregnant I came down with the worst pain I've ever experienced. This is coming from a person with a very high pain tolerance, and a not-so-easy post- labor experience. I called Dr. Cicon once my pain became unbearable, I couldnt even walk. She scheduled me in the very next day! (Knowing how busy she is after the fact makes me even more appreciative.) After 2 visits my pain disappeared. Not only that but she filled me with so much hope during my first visit which was exactly what I needed. As a first-timer, I was discouraged and thought I'd be bed-ridden for the remainder of my pregnancy. So thankful for her. I've recommended her to 2 friends so far who've also had good experiences. I plan to schedule a follow up appointment for myself AND my baby soon! read more

Tried to contact this business a few times and no answer via text or leaving a voice mail I have tried twice in the last 3 weeks. Nothing. Dr. Britney has help tremendously with my back and hips as I tend to get head aches a lot through my pregnancy. I been to her for two pregnancies and trying to go for my third... She is a life saver. I love Dr. Brittney Cicon at Backs, Babies, and Bellies. I have seen her through two pregnancies and can't believe how much better I feel than with my first. She is very knowledgable about prenatal chiropractic, and has even adjusted my newborn baby and helped with her acid reflux. She knows about baby positioning and how to achieve optimal position, as well as homeopathic and holistic approaches to avoid medical interventions. I haven't seen the midwives or masseuse here, but if we could afford a homebirth, they would be my first choice. Just want to say Brittney is amazing... I saw her 3 times towards the end of my last pregnancy at the recommendation of my Doula. I had never even been to a chiropractor before and I had no idea I even needed one. She helped me with all of the usual aches and pains I was feeling, helped me sleep better at night, helped immensely with my carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands. Most importantly she helped position baby along and he was very much engaged when I finally went into labor on my own at almost 41 weeks! Dr. Brittney came as a referral in a Facebook group for pregnant active moms. I am on my third pregnancy and have a ton of pelvic and symphyseal pain which is preventing me from walking or standing for long periods of time. She was able to offer kind support, suggestions AND help my lower back and pelvis. She was knowledgeable about what will help or hinder my situation when it comes to exercise, strength training and day to day activities. In brought my daughter in with terrible painful gas and she really took the time to listen to all of our issues and offer natural solutions we could try besides the long list of tricks we had already tried to be rid of the issue. People always say to me, "I would be way too afraid to do a v-bac homebirth." My response is, "not if you had a knowledgeable, supportive midwife who believed in you." Lindsey has a confident, calm way about her that just lets you believe in her and in turn yourself. She supports you at the level you need. Our v-bac home water birth was amazing and we were supported so lovingly by our just as amazing birth team including Lindsey and Ashlee Sourapas. Lindsey is always there for you via text with the millions of questions that come up. Visiting here for your pre-natals is like chatting with a friend and getting all the comforts and reassurance you want in pregnancy. Plagued by INSANE sciatica pain, Dr Cicon was recommended to me by a fellow prenatal yoga student. I haven't had an appointment with her yet but her colleague Kristin is outstanding. She's bubbly, experienced and has incredible bedside manner - a must when performing adjustments. She carefully examined me and had me run through a battery of exercises to see how my body functioned. Then she had me lay face down on the table (amazing to be able to do so - it had a hole for my baby bump!) and we did some exercises together as she squeezed my right hip flexor. HOLY HELL IT HURT but it did the trick. Turns out the supposed sciatica pain was due to an incredibly tight right hip flexor that, thanks to relaxin flowing through my pregnant body, was pulling my muscles and bones out of alignment. She also did a basic adjustment. After just one appointment, I felt better but I had one more for good measure. She gave me stretches to do at home in the interim. Now, at 37 weeks, I need to see her again for back pain and I can't wait for my appointment tomorrow. I just know she'll make everything better again! Thanks Dr Kristin! I began seeing Brittney early in my pregnancy because of my midwife's recommendation. From the beginning, I could tell that her knowledge of chiropractics, especially for pregnant women, was comprehensive and passionate. Every adjustment during my pregnancy made me feel amazing and made my pregnancy much more comfortable. In addition, the few times during the end of my pregnancy when the baby's position was not ideal, Brittney knew exactly what to do to get the baby where he needed to be, literally by the end of the adjustment. She was even able to immediately relieve swelling in my ankles in minutes to the point that they were significantly less swollen by the end of the adjustment. My husband and I both look forward to continuing to get adjusted now that I am no longer pregnant, and we plan on taking our newborn to her for chiropractic care as well. She is excellent. read more

I searched high and low for a full focused center that had midwifery, prenatal chiropractic, prenatal massage and birth classes. Backs, Babies and Bellies had it all, as well as a friendly play area for children too. No other center in OC that I know of has this much to offer its wide range of clients. So this is certainly a review for Dr. Brittney the chiropractor I have been seeing since the beginning of my pregnancy. At the very beginning I had tailbone pain that was so sharp, no hubby hands could fix or massage. Immediately I got relief when I met with Dr. Brittney for my very first visit. Dr. Brittney was down to earth, not over selling anything and being realistic with me about future visits and needs, I come when I need, no other recommendations. I so appreciate that! The greatest part is she still took the time to evaluate where my baby was, what I was experiencing and exercise and stretches that would help with my adjustment. Best part was toward the end of my pregnancy my feet swelling was tremendously uncomfortable. Each time I saw her we got the swelling to go down during adjustments immediately. Amazing! She could even help position my baby so I could feel more comfortable. Total RELIEF! I use Backs, Babies & Bellies for all my pre-natal needs. Midwife, Bradley Birthing classes and I even have planned to book a prenatal massage. Its reassuring to be somewhere that all pregnant women trust for their prenatal needs and not to worry about technique or a mistake happening because I'm not the average client. I went to see Dr Brittney after hearing rave reviews. I was having severe hip pain due to sleeping on my side during pregnancy. After seeing her, it was like night and day. My hip pain completely disappeared and I haven't had it since. I keep telling all my pregnant friends to visit her--she is THAT good! My doula recommended the Chiropractor Brittney Cicon at Backs, Babies & Bellies. Considering I'm pregnant and having back issues the name of this establishment sounded perfect! Umm...not so much. To start off I had a very difficult time even finding the phone number for this office (my doula didn't have it). Turns out there isn't one and you have to contact Brittney Cicon through her cell phone number or e-mail as she prefers to schedule her appointments through e-mail or text. My attempt at e-mailing failed, she never responded even after a week. I then tried texting, which worked and I set up an appointment for the next day. I show up for my appointment with Brittney and there is no reception area so I am wondering around the place while people are talking amongst themselves in private conversations and I have no idea where to go. I finally interrupt a conversation and ask where I can find Brittney. I'm told she's on maternity leave! Umm, what? So I get ready to leave, very confused, but then a lady by the name of Kristen comes up to me and says she's taking over for Brittney while she's on leave. Did Brittney not think to mention this when I made the appointment a day earlier? I was referred specifically to her and told her so, so why not let me know she wouldn't be the one to see me? Anyway, I see Kristen since I'm already there and in pain. She was nice enough and helped my back temporarily. Fast forward two weeks later, I'm still in pain. I have to make appointments through Brittney even if I want to see Kristen, so I text Brittney and set up another appointment. I arrive to my appointment but don't see Kristen. I wait 30 minutes while (again) nobody acknowledges my existence. Finally I ask some random person playing with her kids if she knows who Kristen is and if she's there. Apparently Kristen is there but with another patient. I think to myself "Why doesn't Kristen come out and let me know she's running late?" I wait another 15 minutes, I leave a voicemail for Brittney letting her know what happened, then leave. A WEEK later I get a voicemail from Brittney explaining she had me down at a different appointment time that day. The appointment was made via text message! A written out day and time. How do you get that wrong? In my experience Brittney Cicon has poor communication skills and an inability to respect the time of her clientele. I'd look elsewhere if I were you. read more

My wife and I took our 8 week old son to see Dr. Brittney. He had severe acid reflux, wasn't pooping regularly, and had some asymmetrical facial and body features, which we thought were due to delivery. Dr. Brittney examined him very thoroughly and gave us concerned parents a VERY thorough explanation of what happened to his little body. Everything she said made so much sense and aligns with the 5 ultrasounds I had while pregnant, as well as my own observations during my pregnancy, his delivery, and his 8 weeks of life. Two hours after our appointment he was already looking, feeling, and acting so much happier and healthier! I HIGHLY recommend that all new babies be taken to Dr. Brittney for their first adjustment, whether or not they have symptoms! She is intelligent, nurturing, and AMAZING with babies and the parents! This place is amazing! All the women here are incredibly knowledgeable, personable and realistic. We took our Bradley classes with Tiffany here and found the classes and location to be invaluable. Dr. Britany, is equally amazing. I took my week old newborn for an adjustment and although I was hesitant and skeptical she made me feel comfortable by explaining everything to me and also normalizing what my baby was experiencing.
