They can frame things beautifully and really elevate prints, paintings, and other artwork. We were really impressed with the matting, the backdrops, etc. for the first batch of frames. This earns them two stars instead of one. The second batch was two frames, roughly 24" x 30", and totaled $2084.00 which is an absurd sum for frames, at least if you ask me. However, we were really excited about these specific pieces and sort of got "suckered" into paying a premium because that's apparently what good framing costs these days . . although we'll soon be finding other sources to see if that's true. Regardless, here is the timeline of events: Oct 4: Art is dropped off, deposit paid Oct 22: Frames are ready. One frame has a visible chip in the wood, with missing material. It's about 3/8" long and 1/8" deep, clearly visible on the front of the frame where the corners meet. I notify the owner that I'm not happy with it and he agrees to fix it. I bring the first piece home. Oct 28: The second frame is ready. I go to pick it up and see that there is wood filler in the chip. The frame is wooden, with wood grain, and the wood filler is a solid color and immediately visible from the front. The wood filler is also soft to the touch. I once again notify the owner that I'm not happy with it. Nov 23: The second frame is ready, again. The wood filler has dried, he assures me. It still looks terrible. I make it clear that for $1,000 apiece, these had better look perfect. Even better would be having a perfect frame the first time! Or the second time! Or even the third time! He agrees to remake this frame, which is what he should have done in the first place. Dec 12: The second frame is ready, completely remade this time. It looks great. He charges me full price and I bite my tongue so that I don't say something I regret. I pay and leave to close this chapter as quickly as possible. I get home and hang the second piece next to the first and (to add insult to injury) I find that the wires are not the same height/tension and the pieces don't sit at the same height. What a joke! Overall, very disappointing customer service and standards - combined with extraordinary prices - means this business is not for me.

They breed their own chicks in house which is a huge plus as you get it straight from the source. You see the walk through of the roosters and hens as well, literally the parents of your birds and they're all extremely healthy. The hens are also labeled and you're given a zoo-like biography of each breed which is amazing for those starting out + for kids to learn. They have all sorts of breeds, literally breeds I've never even heard of. The hatched chicks here are given mareks vaccination in house + sexed at birth for most breeds except silkies and a few others. I love how the staffs make themselves known but just let you wander and live in the moment without breathing down your back. The prices for feed and items are overall pretty good, items are labeled for the most part. Selection is huge. Many of the items are not priced with a label so they are just ignored and not bought as you can tell by the dust. One biggest drawback here that made it 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of pricing on some items and the chicks/pullets. Nobody has time to ask for pricing for each individual chick and the staffs don't have a list, they have to check manually for each on their register which is insane. Maybe the store management is too lazy to put the pricing? Maybe they priced chicks differently per customers? Who knows. Luckily the pullets has a pricing sheet and the staffs were amazing about it. Overall, I'd take your family here to buy farm item, feeds and learn about the breeds. If you have time to spare, you can ask about pricing for each or just buy elsewhere.

Unless they come out with a color you simply must have or decide you need a different size, that is. The cost is really the only negative. My husband's old suitcase started falling apart, and my friends suggested this brand because he wanted to get something that would last, and we found a model that had some features we didn't know a suitcase could have that he really liked. The staff at the store are helpful and thankfully not at all pushy, which I appreciate. We ended up going home to think on it and then came back when my husband made his decision. They do a little monogram for free, and you can choose the color of the monogram, and they also gave my husband a free luggage tag. The lifetime warranty for repairs etc. certainly seems to indicate that they stand by the sturdiness of their product. I am impressed with the features of his suitcase and am admittedly jealous we didn't know about this when I needed to replace my previous suitcase a couple of years ago, but as I have a new and functioning suitcase I can't justify making the purchase now (especially at those prices)... You can see my other review for a competitor in San Carlos, but here's the gist. I reached out to another business and asked on a Tuesday if two medals I had could be engraved for an 8th-grade graduation by Thursday (today). I was told yes. Long story short, the business was unresponsive and admitted they hadn't started the job when I called to follow up today. I told them to forget it and I'd come and get the medals later. I called Krefeld's. First--my call was answered immediately. I wish I would have gotten a name, but I failed to do so. The gentleman was polite and told me there was still hope. I could get the medals today. Second--I got there, he reviewed the medals, and the engraver got started. The medals were finished in under 30 minutes. I will never go anywhere else. I chose the other location for convenience and it was a bust. Folks--trust Krefeld's, but also remember to plan ahead. I got LUCKY, but I don't recommend you wait until the last minute. However, in the event that you do procrastinate, call Krefeld's.

I went in and thought wow great shop, it looks like there are so many very cool treasures. Then like the feeling of chagrin you get when the needle of the record scratches the surface-someone opens their mouth with a stupid banal racist remark. Turned around walked out. Won't be back.
