I went in on Monday morning to be completely taken care of in less than 15 minutes! Other jewelers in the area talked about dropping off and a 3-4 week wait. Found one item i could use..was confused about high prices on items on the shelves..so damaged…read moreand was asking high cost..The Bins were big with alot of open items..the store tryed to keep up and had repeated on loud speaker but still people were not doing that.they ripped open boxes. Example they had air fryer 179 dollars with broken handle still asking 160 bucks for the items and I felt the items on the shelves were way over priced and tops and pants you can buy new at Walmart cheaper. There was food items were high to so honestly I dont know if I go back. Store had a really nice lady with glass and her hair was up in a bun sweet.light brown hair very responsible and helpful..and even help look for items.when I asked.I spent about half hour found water bottle that was nice for two dollars.. spring open top hydro flow nice ..but honestly idk if I go back.only if shelve items prices went down. Had a rug for bathroom or bedroom way to much for thease items and dogs stuff to high..

I went to Bunny Sew Fine this morning, however I first checked their webpage for hours and it said…read morethey were open today, Saturday from 9a to 5p so at 10a I headed over there. I'm 30 minutes away and when I got there at 10:30a they were closed and had a sign that said that they open at 11a. I ran a few errands in Newark and returned at 11:15ish. When I went in I asked the young lady if I could ask a favor and she said 'go ahead' so I asked if they could make sure their website had the correct hours on it and I told her it would be very helpful. She got really snotty and snapped that she didn't have to correct the website, I told her that she is correct however it would be very helpful for her customers if someone would have the correct. Then she says that "I don't have to have a website, it's not required to do business in Newark and it's not mine it's Google's website". I have to admit that I was completely unaware that Google gave away websites! But I was a bit aghast at how nasty this clerk was. I knew the former owner of this shop and she would be horrified if she knew how nasty this woman treated her customers. I left the store without the items I went there to purchase and will NEVER return. I will share this experience with all my quilter friends.

I had the pleasure of attending a "Paint and Pour for Pelatonia" fundraiser organized by a coworker…read moreof mine. The event was well organized, as the canvas/paints/brushes/smocks are all provided. The activity itself was SO much fun! We ate pizza, sipped on wine and paint to our heart's content! Even though we had a large party of about 30 painters, the instructors, Anna, came around and helped me several times, even showing me what I needed to do and offering feedback. She was supportive and helpful. Despite my dreadful painting, I LOVED my experience with Art with Anna. I especially loved that the money raised went to support cancer research at the James.

My niece has been taking art camp classes here for a little over a year and she loves it! Her marks…read morein art at school have improved tremendously and she has so much fun with the other kiddos in each class she takes and with the super patient instructors (I teach high school and can't imagine having a group of 8yos all at once...that is my nightmare and the instructors here are saints!) It is so affordable ($30 for an art camp day session) and nice to know in advance what the craft for that day will be, that way we can avoid any repeat crafts.
