The store is a little tight because there are so many items available but they are absolutely beautiful and it's a joy to have so many options. Things are a bit pricy but idk what price is comparable. Service wise I will say I don't think I've ever really been greeted by an associate but it makes it less awkward and pressured when you just want to see the museum. I make it here each year for the wands and wizards weekend and never regret the stop! Overall, definitely recommended to stop by

If you want to learn more about her, just ask the people who own the store to tell you more. The friendly owners will tell you all about her! She has a very interesting story. You'll find lots of beautiful glassware, tableware, trinkets and more. Many of the items for sale are by local and women-owned businesses. It's really neat that Gay Fad Studios continues the tradition of empowering women by selling products produced by women!

A second, larger train layout is located around the corner, where the Hocking Valley Model Railroad Club has a very nice set up. They have some good step stools available too, so those who need it can get a better look at all of the neat details and the trains. The store offers a wide variety of hobby models, including not only a good selection of train items, of course, but also planes, monster trucks, and even some neat animals and dinos. In the back are some glass display cases where they show off some completed models, which were neat to see too. There's a small parking lot to the side of the building.

This place is the cutest. It's a pottery painting studio that's also a coffee shop. So you can…read morevisit just to grab a coffee or hot chocolate or tea, or you can visit to paint some pottery, or both! I highly recommend doing both. You should know, though: This place seems to get very busy on the weekends, and they do not take reservations. So if you want to beat the crowds, your best bet is to get there right when they open. If all of the painting tables are full, you will need to wait outside until someone leaves. That could be 10 minutes, which is what it was for us. Or, like the nice man who works there pointed out, it could be 30 minutes or more, because there is no time limit once you're at the painting tables, because the creative process can't be rushed. Fair enough. Once we got a table, we walked around the store and looked at all of the pottery options. They had bowls, plates, piggy banks, coasters, planters, trinkets and ornaments (these are seasonal). My kids picked out a truck piggy bank and a kitty ornament. Pottery pieces vary in price -- the ornament cost around $12, and the piggy bank cost $35. Next we made our way to the painting station, where we loaded up our pallets with paint. They recommend using three coats of paint for the brightest finish, but my kids, who are impatient like all children, only did one coat of paint and their pieces came out really well. After you're done painting, you leave your pieces on the table, pay for them at the register, and then Art & Clay on Main fires them and glosses them, and you pick them up about a week later. It is so cool to finally get your finished pieces. Ours really looked professionally done! While we were painting, we ordered some hot chocolate with whipped cream, and drank and painted at a leisurely pace. It was a nice and relaxing family activity, and my kids were really into it. I highly recommend dropping by Art & Clay on Main if you're in downtown Lancaster if you're looking for a fun and relaxing activity with your kids.

There is a vast selection and some very nice things and some yard sale nonsense. Slim pickins' for the true collector. It's difficult to gauge value and cost worth because of all the different owners. I have seen situations where there's a price window and in certain events, they will call the owner to dicker on price. It's spacious. Very spacious. With all the variety it's impossible to organize, yet, they can direct you to most items you're looking for. The folks operating the store are very kind and really try to guide you to booths that may have what you're in search of. The owners really know what they are doing and I was over the moon with the results! Only took me about 2.5 years to take the plunge! I can certainly recommend this business for any framing job you may need-I'll certainly be taking any future art to them!

I went back in Artwalk 2018 and bought some cool salt shakers and a tiny gnome among other things. I walk up to the register to pay. She takes one look at me and says " you're funeral girl"! I was shocked she remembered me from a year ago! She agreed to call me when she got in morbid stuff (I have a problem I know). She's a super cool lady with an awesome store. Honestly they have a little of everything: furniture, ceramics, candles & tarts, really old antiques, etc. If you like building fairy gardens, they have that too. Go visit if you're downtown! And the prices are really good.
