Holy back crack Batman, this place is my dream come true!…read more I've been going for adjustments since I was a kid and have really seen the benefits throughout my life. I've been seriously slacking (aka, haven't gone for an adjustment since probably the late 90's) and I was really starting to feel the effect due to various things going on in my life. Being a pseudo-runner (and part time exercise buff-HA!), I somehow managed to pinch my sciatic nerve on my left hand side. Understanding that it stems from the lower back, I was feeling all sorts of annoying dull pain in two certain places on my leg and of course on the left side of my back. I've been to my GP and orthopedics to try and figure out ways to ease this pain, but left feeling unsatisfied with printed out pamphlets on ways to stretch it out. After doing a bit more research, I noticed that a sure fire way to improve my life would be to get back in to going to the Chiropractor and after two adjustments thus far I am already feeling a world of difference. In other words, no pain whatsoever!!! Buchanan Wellness is housed in the same office as Devonshire Dental, and I was in Devonshire Dental and decided to ask the receptionist for Buchanan Wellness about services offered. She was able to get me a consultation that same week and I was introduced to Dr. Jasmine as well. What a lovely doctor! Jasmine comes from a long line of Chiropractors (her entire family are Chiropractors) and she has loads of experience and knowledge, you can't help but feel comfortable and welcomed. She's calm and understanding and she listens to your needs and works with you to figure out a solution. She is great with educating her clients and gives you a little booklet to take home circling the areas of the spin that need attention and what organs the nerves attach effect. It makes so much sense!! For all you students out there, she offers a student discount and various payment options should you need multiple sessions for whatever ails you. Dr. Jasmine also offers massage therapy, and wellness workshops weekly for anyone who has questions about the benefits the chiropractor. I've been super busy with end of term papers and exam prep, so I've had to reschedule my appointment and already I'm missing my adjustments. I'm not feeling bad, but know how beneficial they are and very much appreciate that they help me feel like I'm on top of the world! I am a huge fan and highly recommend that you check out Buchanan Wellness. You'll be so glad you did!

If you find yourself with need of an Osteopath I would have no hesitation in recommending Daniel…read more From start to finish the process is easy, honest and open and he will strive to help you feel better but will not make any promises that he can't keep. You can book in online via his easy booking tool. He offers free initial consultations where he will chat through options and give you an honest appraisal as to whether he thinks he can help you or not. Appointments are 30 mins but if he has no appointment after you he regularly works on to try and help you more and there is no extra charge. He creates a relaxed atmosphere where you can chat about just about any topic under the sun whilst he does the essential work that needs done to help you. If you are used to a really formal setting you may be taken by surprise, but for me the chilled atmosphere is a huge plus. His aim is to get rid of you (feeling better of course). Not a good business plan, but great for patients as you know he ain't just in it to keep you coming back for ever and ever like you hear from some other practitioners who always want to have you booked in again. Daniel Gerber..... osteopath, healing genius and all round good guy. If your in pain just now, you should give him a try.

No one came close until I walked into Daniel Gerber's treatment room. He knew exactly where the problem was almost without input from me and after only two sessions my pain began to disappear and my posture straightened noticeably. After a short period of regular appointments I moved onto maintenance sessions as and when I feel the need- sometimes several months apart. Back pain is a horrible experience - it makes you irritable and miserable, easily distracted and generally less able to cope with the day to day. Not any more! This man has changed my life!

The last time I had a bad neck, I started off by trying the osteopath, who assured me that he could help: certainly, his words and massage did help me. However, the recovery wasn't quick enough, so I went to a physio. The physio said I had to choose: osteopath (at a fair price per session) or physiotherapy on the NHS. I went for the cheap and, as it turned out, effective, option. However, I had had some signs of improvement in my fortnight at this osteopath, and do believe that his work did some good. It was not madly expensive, compared to other treatments (chiropractic, I am looking at you), and there was a sense of genuine attention, not just bilking the sucker from his cash. If you understand and believe in the process, this is a nice and professional clinic.

One of these said people, has got to be my gran; although she is a big fan of almost any time of alternative medicine, remedy or - well, hell anything. And I reckon this is what it can, in some cases, primarily come down to. If you believe and have faith in alternative medicine and remedies, then they will tend to do the job. All this mind over matter stuff should not be taken too lightly. Therefore, this place is a great option for osteopathic needs, as it's: 1) Clean, tidy and comfortable. 2) Has a good range of opening hours. 3) Is well staffed. 4) The staff are pleasant, personable and extremely knowledgeable. 5) Their prices are pretty reasonable as far as these things go. Though, if you are convinced these treatments will not work then, best not to waste your money proving yourself correct.
