Horribly dishonest and misleading business practices. They get you to sign up for some bogus rewards program that charges you $19.95/month. They don't disclose the recurring charge to you, and when asked, they refuse to provide any evidence that you agreed to this recurring charge. I am reporting them to the BBB and to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for dishonest business practices. read more

Customer service is awful. Never shopping here again which I have done for many years. I tried to return 2 shirts with were too large. They said all sales are final. I told that just 40 %, sale items and mine were full price. I read the return policy before I ordered. It had 30 day return policy. Customer service told me that was then, this now. How is that even possible? read more

I come to bandera at least once or twice a year but this is my all-time favorite store to shop at. You walk in the door and there's such an explosion of stuff that you just don't know where to start and they're so helpful with you and it's just you can find anything there and I just love it. The fashion's beautiful. It's very country. It's just beautiful and it's really not that expensive compared to when you go to Fredericksburg all of their stuff starts at at that insane prices. This place is very in my opinion. Economical compared to going all the way to Fredericksburg. Put your dollars into bandera read more

My experience with this company was the worst. I read the reviews before ordering and I should of listened to them! I ordered a top and I hated everything about it when I tried it on. I returned it on 11/19 to Littleton, MA. I live in MA so I assumed I would receive my refund with a couple of weeks. I called the customer service number on 12/5 and was informed it takes 4 to 6 weeks to process returns. Well it is now 12/31 and no credit to my account yet. I called customer service once again and provided them with the tracking number and they finally processed my credit. Well they said they did. We will see when it appears! This is not how a company should be run. Absolutely awful!! read more

They are very rude! We walked in and my niece had a sucker. Instead of being kind and saying they don't allowed food in the store. The lady made a huge deal yelling that she was going to touch all the clothes and get them sticky. We just walked in so it's not like she was touching anything yet. We will not be back and will tell others about our horrible experience! Just from the reviews below it sounds like the owner doesn't like small kids in the store at all. read more

This catalogue was new to me and I like pretty much all western wear, but I was dismayed to see NO one that looked Native America, although they have Native American looking belts, prints and jewelry. Must be fake. In this day and age models should reflect the public in general. I happen to be a multi-ethnic American. Part of my family were in the Southwest before it was part of the USA, and Mexico. My Great-Great grandmother had a horse ranch in Tucson; she spoke Spanish. And I like Black country-western popular singer Darius Rucker, so why aren't their any Black models? I'll spend my money on buying things from Sundance, where I feel they care about ALL women, and give them opportunities to be models in their catalog. read more

Excellent quality so very satisfied with my purchases. Regular shipping took 17 days from the date of my first order. I purchased express shipping and got my second order in 4 days. It's pricey but what isn't anymore. read more

I come here with the better half 2-3 times a year and have always feel welcome!! Great little store with lots of stuff and on a scenic drive !!! In one review , there was a claim of racism but I didn't hear anything about race until the Hispanic raised it! Maybe the owner was being cautious for " hispanic's" children...maybe the owner was being informative because she didn't want to pick everything up after the " hispanic's" kids knock merchandise over....she DOES have a physical handicap you know.... or maybe "Hispanic" didn't notice! Probably not since "Hispanic" was so consumed with her " hispanicness"!!! Just returned again! Had a great time!!! read more

I placed my order 12/4 took them 2 weeks to process my order.  They they cancelled an item that was on back order, but if you go to their site it still let's you order it.  My Christmas presents will now be arriving 12/28, because the items they did have did not ship out until 12/17 a Friday!   I don't have the money to go buy more gifts, so I guess people will get photos of what was ordered for them.  This sucks. read more

I did see a sign at the door saying no strollers. If you go into the store, you can see that there is no room for a stroller. I'm not defending the owner, I'm just saying. There is so much merchandise, it is overwhelming. I don't know if this is a good thing or bad thing. I guess one could actually get claustrophobic in there. I went in with my wife and granddaughter.i have to say that the three ladies that were there were very personable. read more

Back In the Saddle - Very crowded. - Accessories Near Me - Bandera, Texas

I have been to Bandera many times with my husband and friends. So I was excited to take my daughters, son in laws, and two grandkids. I have never experienced this...my large party of 7 walked in, no one else was in the store. As soon as we walked in she made a comment of please be careful about the racks not falling over...I guess, because of the kids/4 yr. toddlers. I made sure we held on to the kids, but she wouldn't let it go, continued to follow us repeating the same thing, at this point, not so sure. We are all educated, professionals, a teacher, accountant, HR director, draft engineer, a business owner of a major oil service company, we work hard and had money to spend. I feel I need to share this part because we are all HISPANIC, and have never felt RACISM. BUT SHE'S BEEN IN "BUSINESS 20 YEARS, is all she could say. Tacky lady, just like her shop...thanks YELP. read more

I agree with the review below. The owner is mean and disrespectful. I personally saw her deny business to a mother with two deaf toddlers because they were "disruptive". She then proceeded to mock them when they left. I don't know about anyone else, but I have no desire to support someone with that kind of attitude and disgusting behavior! read more

This establishment deserves ZERO stars. The owner, Lou Miller, denied business to a mother of a 2 1/2 year old disabled child because the little girl was in a stroller. I understand that there are policies and rules, but sometimes there are exceptions. Shame on this store and this woman for being discriminatory. read more

Until now! I am SO disappointed in my order through Back In The Saddle. I placed an order 11/18 for at item to be delivered 12/16 because it was a Christmas present. I wanted to make sure it was in stock so I ordered early and went over and over many times that I wanted it delivered 12/16. The order person assured me that would be the case. So today I receive a notification that my order is on the way and will be received 11/27. Well happy thanksgiving! I called back in the saddle and all they could do was keep referring me to another customer service person who kept saying it was out of their control and transfer me again which of course we got conveniently disconnected. When I called back I was not able to even connect with a live person. How's that for customer service!!! I haven't had an issue with this business until this season but for some reason their customer service has not been like it used to be and I am gravely disappointed. So sorry for the vent but I am very frustrated. read more
