This is the most grandiose and largest gift shop in Boerne. Two floors of extravagant merchandise and high-end gift items. Think of a Williams-Sonoma on steroids and you get the point. You'll find expensive kitchen items, body products and carved geodes just to name a few. If you've got a couple of C notes burning a hole in your pocket, you can probably find some trinket here to purchase. Giving one star because the store is beautiful, the staff however is extremely rude. My friend and I decided to stop in to shop as we needed to purchase some gifts/home decor. Worker just inside the door gave us an attitude as soon as we entered- guess we didn't look fancy enough to shop there. They lost our business. If you like being followed around like a criminal-this is the store for you. The merchandise is fine, barely remarkable and the crystals are mostly overpriced (there are some ok finds). The artist they have featured when you first walk in is unique but that was the only thing that I saw that you couldn't find at another store close by. The customer service at first was nice because there were a lot of greeters, but when it came to them actually helping it was another story. We were closely watched in the rock crystal section and I haven't felt like that in a loooong time. My mom insisted on buying something for my child but I wouldn't have spent my money here. There are just too many options that DON'T make me feel that way. The store itself is beautiful so it's a shame the customer service doesn't measure up. read more

I went here this past weekend for Dickens On Main in downtown Boerne. This is such a beautiful and decadent store! It is stunning! Just walking through this place gives you a extravagant feeling. The service was impeccable. I found an absolutely gorgeous gold mini Christmas tree to go with my collection. I highly recommend this store for high quality gifts. Be prepared to spend money for these items but they all appear to be valuable. read more

A Five 5 on Merchandise Quality The beauty and quality of the various pieces in the store is a five 5, however, the customer service from some is approximately a two 2. My husband and I went there for the first time and once I saw the beauty of the crystal and various pieces I was elated. I began slowly looking around, enjoying the beauty and quality of the merchandise when I came upon the nicest sales consultant, her name was Lynda. She is the one who made our shopping experience positive and if the last two I dealt with were like her, I would give the store a clear five 5. Upon arrival, my husband and I were told by plural consultants that Christmas was 50% off and everything else was 25% off, we were delighted. We started picking up select pieces for purchases and would bring them all to Lynda so we could pay for everything at once. When we went upstairs, (the 2nd floor/Fine Jewelry,) the sales consultant told us almost immediately that Christmas was "60% off" and when we told her we were told by others it was 50% off, she told us they were WRONG and didn't hear right. I ask her if she was the manager and she said "No," but stuck with the 60% off. There were then some pieces that were Christmas colors and one white and gold, they looked like Christmas Present Trinket Boxes and my husband inquired about them, but was told by the same woman those were only 25% off and not Christmas. I found that puzzling because the Christmas pieces in Baccarat were 50% off, even those of substantial value; I know because I inquired about a particular piece they had there. When we went back downstairs to Lynda (where we were keeping all of our merchandise for purchasing purposes,) I told her what the consultant upstairs had told both my husband and I, on both issues. She then looked very puzzled and said she'd be right back, we continued shopping. However, at one point when we turned around, we saw her and the manager was there. When I saw her manager and started to speak with her, it seemed (from my perception) she was angry or defensive with me from the beginning. I clearly felt we were immediately, directly, and firmly told it was 50% off and that the consultant was mistaken. I then inquired about the trinket boxes that looked like Christmas Presents and she firmly told me that consultant had been thoroughly trained and knew what was on sale and what wasn't, this was the same consultant who told us that Christmas was 60% off and the other consultants were wrong. I think in light of everything, had the manager addressed me in a different manner I would not have felt like this. Or if she would have said "Let me check on those and I'll get back with you in a moment," that would have exemplified quality customer service to me. After I was addressed in such a manner, and although Lynda was exemplary in providing customer service to us, I did not really want to buy anything else. I actually was looking at more, but was very turned-off by the way I was addressed and treated. In saying this, quality customer service and kindness is essential to me. Our careers cause us to have to work with people from all walks of life and providing quality customer service is very important. I very much felt like I was talked down to and that is not acceptable. Due to this reason, I cannot give the store a high rating. I will say Lynda's customer service and the quality of the merchandise was exemplary, but cannot say that about all. read more

Bechants is a collection of shops that's housed in an old bank in downtown Boerne. Said name was being painted of the street side sign the day my mom and I visited. Two floors of high end shopping invite you from the front door to a beautiful foyer. Shop immediately on the left you'll find jewelry and kitchen brands like Le Creuset. Shop to the right has more jewelry houses the bank's huge safe. Back right in the foyer there is a baby shop and another shop I think for essential oils. I personally spent most of my time on the second floor. I heard from a local friend that said upstairs was a new addition to the space. More Consuela purses in one place than I ever seen. Wife loves said brand and of course I bought her one that she had been wanting. Mostly ladies clothes and more jewelry along with Tom Ford Sunglasses too. One complaint, mens department is tiny. read more

What a disgraceful store manager, who aggressively stood behind their store return policy with an unapologetic arrogance, so unbecoming in what is supposedly a luxury boutique. I have shopped there a few times before, but this experience was shockingly rude. I received a Christmas gift and was hoping to exchange it towards another item, BUT... because it was purchased during the pre holiday customer appreciation sale and therefore discounted- these 2 items can not be exchanged. How, as the gift recipient was I to know this? Especially since I called last week and was told differently. Her unkind approach was offensive and inflexible beyond belief. Debbie Kelley is the sweetest person EVER! About a month ago she was helping my sister and I choose a birthday gift for my mom - we ended up getting the Moroccan Amber Nest hand soap with Debbie's help! She gave us recommendations for a beautiful gardenia perfume (Bond No. 9) that is by far the most lovely scent. We ended up chatting for a little bit and left in great spirits! Fast forward one month later and we got a letter sent to our house from Ms. Debbie!! She handwrote my mom a birthday card! It absolutely made my mom's day and her birthday so much more special!! I was given a couple of Whiskey glasses from Bechants for Christmas that I already had, so I went to Exchange them on 1/04/2024. I was told that they stopped taking back Christmas purchases yesterday. Then the lady followed up that statement with "you could just give them as gifts". I was planning on spending more money at this establishment. Well now that will Never happen. Pathetic customer service. read more

My wife purchased a gift from here for me. A $350 hairbrush (didnt know that was possible but they are meant to be forever burshes). When she gave it to me all wrapped up I opened the box and there was only a brush cleaning brush in there but not the actual brush. I thought it was hilarious until my wife reached out to Bechants and they refused to do anything for us. And so here we are with a $350 box of nothing. Not only is this unethical, fraudulent and illegal, how would you feel working or shopping at a store that is this dishonest? If Bechants decides to correct this issue I will update this review accordingly. read more

Berchants Men's Store in Boerne, TX, sells quality sport and dress apparel for the discriminating dresser. Many of the brands they carry cannot be found in the major retail box stores. The store is small but packed with quality merchandise. read more

Went to the men's shop (east side of main). Great experience as I found brand I had been looking for since moving to Texas. Victor and Nancy made visit even better with kind and attentive help. The store is beautiful and they have great items for gifts. The problem I've had the last 2 times I've gone in is the ladies working there are so cold. I brought my family there when they visited me and my mom, dad, sister and husband all felt really uncomfortable. It felt like the workers didn't want in there. We each even made purchases! I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH AMAZING THINGS ABOUT BECHANTS. Today I went to Bechants for the first time from a recommendation from a friend. I was told they carry my favorite brand Spell and the Gypsy Collective. Boy was I in complete shock to find an utter wonderland vault of Spell!!! The selection was incredible and they had a nice section of sale pieces. In addition to the fabulous clothes, the store overall is gorgeous. It is well lit, fancy, upscale. I almost felt like I needed an appointment, but was greeted with such warmth! Which brings me to the staff. The staff at Bechants was some of the most incredible customer service I have ever received. It felt like an old school department store from back in the day!!! They checked on me frequently, introduced themselves, brought me water, and truly made me feel like family. Stacy and Tori were especially wonderful as well as the rest of the team. I highly recommend this lovely spot if you are in the area. I drove 2 hours from Austin just to go there!! I will be back frequently. Thank you again to my new Bechants family!!! read more

Bechants is a visual delight and no matter how often you visit, there's always something new! My favorite area is Mackenzie Child's and they have a beautiful collection. Rosa is an absolute delight and when I'd left after not purchasing something Id really liked, I called her and she went and found it, sent me a pic to confirm it was the right piece, and helped me purchase it over the phone. You don't get service like this anywhere else. This store is a jewel and I get excited every time I get to shop there! read more
