    Nicest staff at store!

We needed to pick up cowgirl essentials like a pink lasso and a pink cowgirl hat to match my pink cowgirl boots. I found all the accessories I needed here! The friendly lady also deputized me to be the new sheriff in town. Howdy folks, thank you kindly. I'll be back soon. ;)

I stopped by here last weekend. I really went in just to browse. I was assisted by Steve. He let me try on several pairs of boots. His knowledge is immeasureable. He showed me how to work a tight spot from the boots, explained the differences in soles and showed me how to remove scuffs. He is very patient, very professional and immensely insightful. He was an absolute joy to meet. I wanted to buy 2 pairs of boots but left with one. His knowledge and great personality were key factors in me buying my first pair of cowboy boots. I thanked him a few times and told him, I would be back in a few weeks for the 2nd pair. Thanks again Sir, A very satisfied customer

Great store and pricing. With all the stores in SATX I drive to Bandera and buy my shirts here.

I've been a longtime customer of this hatter and have had positive experiences here in the past,…read morewhich is why today's visit was so disappointing. I brought in a Rockin' C wool felt hat to have it shaped. The female hatter who assisted me was dismissive and condescending, stating that the hat "could not be shaped with steam," and adding that "it's unfortunate that some people are just uneducated about hats." This was said in a way that felt unnecessary and unprofessional. While I fully understand that not all hatters choose to work on wool felt hats -- and that results can vary -- there is a respectful way to communicate that. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. I was also told I could leave the hat for the weekend "to see," as there were two men ahead of me, which felt dismissive given my prior history with the shop. I've brought higher-end hats here before and was treated very differently, so the inconsistency in service was disappointing. Craftsmanship is important, but so is customer respect. I hope this feedback helps the shop reflect on how returning customers are treated.

After standing…read morein the store for a few minutes without being acknowledged, I mentioned up front that I likely needed a larger size and asked if they had any in stock. I was told they didn't have any and wouldn't for several months. I then asked if I could be measured to at least get a sense of my size for future reference, but was told they don't measure because "all hats are different." I also asked about the possibility of ordering one, but received the same response that nothing would be available for months. I understand that inventory can be limited, especially for popular styles and larger sizes. That part didn't bother me. What was surprising was the lack of engagement--no sizing, no discussion of fit, and no guidance on ordering or alternatives. Given Paris Hatters' long-standing reputation in San Antonio, I was expecting a more hands-on and informative experience. This felt more like a quick dismissal than a customer interaction. I may try again another time, but this visit didn't reflect the level of service I had heard so much about.

The day before the event, I looked in the mirror and was confronted by a terrifying reality: my hair had apparently decided to stage a hostile takeover of my entire head, and I was in the throes of a full-blown, DEFCON 1 hat-mergency. We walked into your store, I with the quiet desperation of a man who knows he's one bad hair day away from ending up in the background of wedding photos for eternity, looking like a startled shrub. The moment we crossed the threshold, we were greeted by Estrella and Miriam. I must say, they weren't just sales associates; they were first responders at the scene of a fashion felony. They saw the panic in my eyes, exchanged a knowing glance, and sprang into action. My wife, who is the loving but firm CEO of my wardrobe, immediately joined their ranks. Suddenly, I was the subject of a friendly but firm style intervention, a council of taste consisting of my wife and these two retail Jedi. The mission: find The Hat. Not just a hat, but THE hat. The kind of hat that makes you want to solve a mystery or expertly grill a steak. After what I can only describe as a masterclass in headwear, they found it. The perfect one. I swear I heard a choir of angels. But oh, it didn't stop there. With the hat problem solved, Miriam and Estrella looked at my shirt and then back at the glorious new hat. A silent, mutual agreement passed between them: "This hat deserves better." Before I knew it, I was being handed an array of fantastic shirts. I went from being a man on a simple mission to a willing participant in my own style evolution. My wife was thrilled, I was outnumbered, and my wardrobe has never been happier. So, a massive, heartfelt thank you to the dynamic duo of Estrella and Miriam. You didn't just sell me a hat and some shirts; you equipped me for greatness. You saved me from myself, ensured my survival at the wedding, and sent me home a much more dapper man. My wallet is a tad lighter, but my confidence is sky-high. You ladies are absolute legends! (I'm Bald by the way)
