Great outdoor setup, very customer friendly, reasonable prices. Highly recommend. We'll definitely be return customers.

I have spent a LOT of time in gun shops and ranges over the years, and I must say that RangeUSA is one of the best. As soon as I came in, I was greeted warmly by the friendly employees. As you come in, on your immediate left are the AR-15s and AK-47s, followed by Glock pistols and the used pistols. Immediately to the right of that is the range check in and rental gun area. Then there is a small waiting area with a couple of tables and seats near the indoor range entrance. To the right of the range are more new pistols and long guns for sale, along with the registers. In the middle of the store, they have ammo, safes, a small selection of holsters, cleaning supplies, etc. The ammo prices were pretty fair. I told them what gun I was looking for, and they immediately took me to it. My fiance decided to buy a Smith and Wesson SD9 as well. We handed them our IDs, filled out the background check paperwork, bought ammo and a cleaning kit, and took our new guns home. While we didn't go to the range today as my fiance's back was bothering him, I did take a peek through the viewing window, and it looks like a very nice range. My fiance and I plan to try out the range next week and will most likely become members. In short, I highly recommend RangeUSA to all Second Amendment supporters. BTW: they offer NRA safety and concealed carry classes, have ladies' gun club meetings, and offer discounts to military, police, fire, and EMS! Update: My fiance and I have been members of RangeUSA for a couple of months now. We go once a week and we always love it. The range is well lit and well ventilated. The distances are clearly marked on the floor and wall. The target retrieval system is basic but works well. The range safety officers have always been friendly, and the range rules are reasonable. Thank you, RangeUSA. I've found my home away from home.

Service was good. But I'm leaving a 2 star review because of how they handled my online gun…read moretransfer. I bought an Erfurt 1917 P.08 Luger and shouldn't have of having it shipped here. They claimed for it to have "no legible serial number" despite it having a four digit serial number on the frame. I mentioned that the ATF doesn't necessarily require serials from guns made before 1968. However they claimed a corporate policy is what prevented the sale to go through. Now I have to spend an additional 200$ for shipping and transfer fees to get it back. I won't be transferring a gun here again, I'll rather do it at Midwest on grape road where I know I won't have problems. I will come back to the store to use their range until Midwest range opens theirs up. Then I'll leave and not come back here except if there are great sales going on. Disappointing.

Had an absolutely horrible experience at Kingsbury shooting range in Laporte, IN and will NOT be…read morereturning! I am an experienced shooter with experience in law enforcement but this was my first time at this range or any DNR range for that fact. The range officer handed my mother an I a list of rules to read. We explained to him we were first timers there and he did not offer any form of explanations as to how things worked at that range. Twice I had to go ask questions and his explanations were weak. During a firing break while no firing was allowed, I mistook this for a ceasefire and went to hang my target (yes, my mistake). Instead of simply and RESPECTFULLY getting my attention and correcting me adult to adult, he yelled at me over the speaker like I was a child while there was an audience. My mother and I decided to immediately pack up and leave. I went to the office to make a complaint and the manager was apologetic and made it a point to mention many other people have made comlaints about him, but made excuses for the ranger officer stating "he's just gruff", "that's how he treats his family", and even mentioned that the DNR paid $3000 to send him to anger management. That last point makes me question the managers competence considering she disclosed personnel information and seems to enable the behavior of a range officer with an apparent anger management problem. This officer is dangerous and needs to be removed from his position immediately!
