It's a great range, but the fat bastard, range officer needs to retire. Sucking off the State of Indiana's teet.

After 9 straight days of snow, it was time to do something other clean the driveway. For the last…read morefew months I have been trying to experience this. I saw a brochure at the local gun show and the description seemed rather appealing. After digging out the driveway we headed in that direction. Roads were sketchy at best and our appointment time was quickly closing. After reviewing the online schedule multiple times I knew this place stayed booked and I didn't want to infringe on someone else's time. So I reached out to J.P. To let him know we were going to be late. We were relieved and assured to know that our tardiness wasn't going to hinder the experience. We met with J.P., he gave us the tour of the place and then we got down to the brass tacks of why we came. Great place! Not knowing what to expect, I kept an open mind as to the experience J.P. Was very informative and made it appealing to absorb the detailed information not only related to the experience but also responsible second amendment responsibilities. J.P. Provided the training and offered additional training options for future endeavors. This is probably the ultimate gaming experience with real life adaptations. You are provided with an environment and an experience of threats that in real life we want to avoid. However unless you are a hermit or blind to the obvious, the risk is real every day that you are in a public arena. With this training you Know how to act and what to do when application of deadly force is required. When the train evolution is completed, you can target shoot and have some light hearted fun and or compete with friend and family popping balloons or wiping out zombies. You can host adult parties here you can also host child parties here with age restrictions. You can use Co2 recoil simulated equipment to include AR15's additional items are also available to compliment the experience.

They are unwilling to have a conversation with you about it and are very short when you try to talk to them. They just pawn you off back to Groupon. Customer Service at First Shot Dyer, sucks.

I am a very experienced target shooter who moved to Michiana from the South recently. Today, I…read moredecided to buy my first gun since moving to Indiana, a Smith and Wesson SD9. I have spent a LOT of time in gun shops and ranges over the years, and I must say that RangeUSA is one of the best. As soon as I came in, I was greeted warmly by the friendly employees. As you come in, on your immediate left are the AR-15s and AK-47s, followed by Glock pistols and the used pistols. Immediately to the right of that is the range check in and rental gun area. Then there is a small waiting area with a couple of tables and seats near the indoor range entrance. To the right of the range are more new pistols and long guns for sale, along with the registers. In the middle of the store, they have ammo, safes, a small selection of holsters, cleaning supplies, etc. The ammo prices were pretty fair. I told them what gun I was looking for, and they immediately took me to it. My fiance decided to buy a Smith and Wesson SD9 as well. We handed them our IDs, filled out the background check paperwork, bought ammo and a cleaning kit, and took our new guns home. While we didn't go to the range today as my fiance's back was bothering him, I did take a peek through the viewing window, and it looks like a very nice range. My fiance and I plan to try out the range next week and will most likely become members. In short, I highly recommend RangeUSA to all Second Amendment supporters. BTW: they offer NRA safety and concealed carry classes, have ladies' gun club meetings, and offer discounts to military, police, fire, and EMS! Update: My fiance and I have been members of RangeUSA for a couple of months now. We go once a week and we always love it. The range is well lit and well ventilated. The distances are clearly marked on the floor and wall. The target retrieval system is basic but works well. The range safety officers have always been friendly, and the range rules are reasonable. Thank you, RangeUSA. I've found my home away from home.

They claimed for it to have "no legible serial number" despite it having a four digit serial number on the frame. I mentioned that the ATF doesn't necessarily require serials from guns made before 1968. However they claimed a corporate policy is what prevented the sale to go through. Now I have to spend an additional 200$ for shipping and transfer fees to get it back. I won't be transferring a gun here again, I'll rather do it at Midwest on grape road where I know I won't have problems. I will come back to the store to use their range until Midwest range opens theirs up. Then I'll leave and not come back here except if there are great sales going on. Disappointing.
