There's fresh apple cider and coffee in the lobby at night. The rooms are clean, beautiful and super spacious. This is a great location within walking distance to multiple restaurants. The washer/dryer in units are a great add. Having a ski check is an awesome option but we didn't take advantage of it. You're set up with coffee, tea and some soap for the dishwasher and washing machine. Fabulous shower, plenty of linens. The fireplace is an awesome touch. The staff will provide a humidifier on request. Good: the valet team gets an 7/10. They mostly accomplished getting my car to me when I needed it. They were pleasant for the most part. Not a lot of them offered to assist me with my bags. My valet call got "missed" or forgotten the day we left. NOT so ok: 1) Surprise valet cost:After everything was pre-paid. We were notified that if we were bringing a car, it would be a mandatory $45/day/car cost. When booking through Booking.com it wasn't clear, but there might be some notes on the website. 2) Unclear on housekeeping : After the first night I was expecting the beds to be turned. I asked the front desk and a young woman politely explained that housekeeping was additional cost per day unless you were staying for over 7-Days. This was fine but would have been nicer to know in advance. 3) Poor communication : We requested late checkout at 9am the day of our departure. It was confirmed by the Manager that we were good to check out at 11 instead of 10. At 10:01 our room received a call. At 10:05 we had someone knocking at our door. At 10:20 we had a maintenance person at our door. We called to the front desk to ask the to stop sending individuals and we were working on leaving. The manager was extremely apologetic and made sure we were comfortable leaving. David is the only reason this review gets a 3 star review instead of 1. Very kind and understanding. In short it is definitely worth the stay but just be prepared for some weird one offs and hope that you don't get kicked out right at 10am. I would stay here again since the space was so beautiful and comfortable.

Just because you have fancy silverware, plates, cups, and pots and pans does not make this a high end location. Being In the center of town is convenient, however, if you've been to a Worldmark location, you know most resorts are on the outskirts of town." as a sidenote, be prepared to spend a fortune when parking your vehicle. There's no other locations to park other than the resort itself and it's valet only..... an hefty $45 a day.... And then the valets have signs out for tips.... Of course. While there is no pool or outdoor activities, they do try to have events in the owners lounge, or snacks in the lobby. Again, more of an average type of event. Considering this is a "presidential" room location. You would expect more. For the most part, stuff was very nice. They all seem to be well informed of the area, and always had a smile on their face.

That includes breakfast in the main pool building at The Grill, complimentary resort robes you can wear while walking over to the pool building, unlimited access to the pools, unlimited towels, men's & women's locker rooms with showers. The lockers are free using 4 digit codes. No keys. If you entered the wrong code like I did twice, an housekeeping attendant will unlock it. The main football field sized pool opened in 1888 and except for a short period during WW II it has been available to everyone. I didn'task about racial issues, but no restrictions now. Current hours are 9am-9pm. The main pool is 95F and the Therapy pool is 104F. Two years ago they opened 5 new smaller pools including a cold plunge at 50F and a slightly warmer 75F. The Therapy pool has jacuzzi couches and water jet positions. The pool building includes a full fitness center for $19/day open to all.

Avoid This Hotel at All Costs…read more If you value cleanliness, good service, or honesty in advertising, do not stay here. The hotel's listing claimed "luxurious mountain retreat", "elevated experience, "recent renovations" and showed beautiful photos, but my experience was nothing like what was advertised. We booked a 5-night stay for New Year's week to celebrate my birthday, paying $10,000 during peak pricing. We chose this hotel for its location over newer and less expensive options, only to be met with a room that was outdated, dirty, and poorly maintained. Room Conditions: * Stained carpets and walls * Damaged headboard and cracked bathroom tiles * Moldy, peeling wallpaper and a musty, moldy smell in the bathroom * Dirty towels, scratched lamps, toothpaste spatter on the mirror, and stained sink and counters * A broken deadbolt on the door Service: The service was equally disappointing. At check-in, I immediately reported the room's condition, but the front desk staff refused to assist, telling me to speak to a manager the next morning. Over the next two days, I spoke with several staff members, including those claiming to be managers, yet nothing was resolved. I was told no other rooms were available, and they could not do anything. I asked to check out early and cancel my remaining days of my prepaid stay. They did agree but I am still waiting for refund. One manager, Bryanna, was especially rude and dismissive, showing no willingness to help. The staff seemed inexperienced and untrained, which I later learned was due to new management. Final Thoughts: This stay has been a nightmare. I've wasted days of my trip trying to resolve these issues with the hotel and Expedia, and I am still waiting for a refund for the unused nights. On top of that, the bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, with no alternatives offered. This hotel is overpriced, poorly managed, and far from the luxury experience it advertises. Avoid it at all costs--it's not worth the money, the frustration, or the disappointment.

Lodging: we chose the Aspen cabin since it was just the two of us. I loved everything about it, other then the number of stairs to and from the main ranch: the decor, very comfy bed (although we were pretty tired after all of our daily activities!), having my very own fireplace, and the view! Food: Waaay above my expectations. Honestly, I was blown away with the cuisine - both the taste and the amount of choices per meal. Chef Cory was very personable and came to the table daily asking for feedback. He also had an awesome mustache face mask to respect social distancing while he was walking table to table. Horses: I mean why else do you think I chose this place?!? Amy and Tammy choose a horse for you based on your skill and comfort level with horses and if you are happy with your horse, you get to keep that horse all week. The herd is over 200 horses so there is definitely one to fit your experience level. My horse was Gypsy and she was a dream! She was super responsive and loved to lope the trails. People: Wranglers: they get in early and jingle the horses to the barn every morning around 6:15...definitely worth getting up to see! They are all very experienced riders and not only guide you on your trail rides, but will help hone your skills and answer questions about horses, the property, etc along the way. Everyone was awesome, but a special shout out to Abby and Halsey for taking us on an all day ride, and fixing my saddle bag for me when it fell off. Walker, Maggie, and Haylei were awesome and made every trail a blast. I feel like I am a way better rider now because of all of them. Servers: The servers are all very nice and ensure you are enjoying every meal. This year, due to COVID, we ate meals outside by the pool, and the servers did a great job of getting food out to you quickly and making sure you had everything you need. Grace was such a sweetheart and we saw her at almost every meal. Thanks for being the best wine pourer we could have asked for. Ranch hands: there are quite a few ranch hands on the property doing all of the odds and ends jobs, including guiding activities. Cooper was very helpful in coaching us through archery, BB guns, skeet shooting, and he managed to not laugh at our epic failure throwing hatchets. They also do a night of branding so bring your leather belts and boots for them to put a C Lazy U brand on. Management: great management team here. Dave, the GM, walked around during meals asking for feedback. Paul and Scott, two of the assistant GM's, made cowboy coffee over a campfire in the mornings and went above and beyond to make sure you were having fun. Paul also MC'ed the Shodeo, which was an absolute blast. Activities: The river that runs through the property and the pond by the main building were both great for fishing. The spa was excellent and the tent I was in had a glass floor to look down and see the river during the massage. Kids - although we don't have kids, the ability to have a group of trusted counselors take care of the little ones while the adults had fun was very impressive! All in all, highly recommend this ranch to anyone ready to have a good time. The ranch was beautiful and the people were friendly. We will definitely be coming back!

Their children are very respectful and I loved having them around. I stayed in a suite which was the absolute best accommodations I have ever stayed in. I had my own deck to watch the beautiful stars in the morning and my own bathroom with a shower you can fit ten people in and a tub to soak in after the long day of hunting. The food: They say on the website there is a five star chef. It is Jeremy's wife who cooks all the food and it was more than five star in my personal opinion. She noticed I loved fruit so every meal there was fruit for me. Which is above and beyond. The hunting experience : It was EXCEPTIONAL. The guides we had were very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we were seeing elk every single day. Jeremy (the owner) who is a true hunter, not just a "resort owner" was out every day glassing to find where the elk were at. He has 12 miles of land so where the elk were at, we were at. We had no issues going to the same "sweet spots" because that means that's where the elk are at. Overall, we will be coming back. They are an exceptional family with a beautiful lodge and amazing hunting ground. It is not a spot that elk will migrate through, it is a place that they stay because of all the abundant resources Jeremy has ensured the land will have for the animals. You won't find a better hunting resort to stay at!

My partner and I booked this Elk hunt based on input from Rolling Bones Outfitters, a third party…read moremediator. We were told that Crossing Creek's success rate was 100% for the 1st rifle season in 2017 and a high success rate overall. We booked the 1st rifle season for 2018. What we missed was 2017 was Crossing Creek's first year in business. The Lodge. The enormous beautiful hunting Lodge is not a Lodge; it's actually the owner's Home complete with 2 wonderful young boys. Surprise! All business is conducted at one wing of the Home where the kitchen and dining room are located. It is also the same wing in which the owners live. Starting at 4:30-5am when the hunters join for a quick snack while waiting for the Guides to arrive, who leave their diesel engines running just outside this wing, then business ends at midnight after dinner, countless cocktails and loud endless stores. I mention this because one of the owners rebuked me the second morning for making too much noise and waking one the boys. I believe this incident is the reason the owner two days later flew a drone mounted with high intensity LED lights that were shining inside my second story windows at 4am. It was HARASSMENT as well as childishness. Whatever the owner's reason was, it's no way to treat a paying customer. For the doubting Thomas's, there are no outside security lights. Certainly not one that is 10 feet away facing into a South facing window then moves to an East facing window then laterally passes the bathroom window in another room. I was harassed. I was totally blindsided and now doubt the owner's integrity. It was a childish and resentful attack. Entering the Lodge (Home) there is a small 6' long bench. Hunters lack sufficient space and storage for hunting gear and rifles. Hunting gear/clothing/boots lie about like any other man cave however this is a Home and you must be mindful of that. Five unchecked rifles were left lying around on the floor or leaning against one corner. I consider this a safety hazard for a Home or any Lodge especially one with children. A solution would be to build an outside heated changing and storage room. The Range. Sitting in the mud is an old saggy 6' folding table along with older chairs. In the field was a cardboard box with Sharpie circles for a target. I've used worse but at top dollar I expect better such as a concrete shooting table, chairs and official targets down range. Improvement is needed. The Guides. There were three Guides. A bonus since it was booked 2 hunters to 1 guide. Two of them were around 25+ y/o with extensive Elk hunting experience. The third, older, Guide had extensive hunting experience but not with Elk. All three lacked any years of experience as Guides and for sure it was one Guide's first year, first week even. It was also clear the Guides had one week of experience on the property. They had lots to learn at our expense. One Guide brought his girlfriend with him for an early afternoon hunt. One hundred percent of his time was focused on his girlfriend and he totally neglected the three hunters. We were not his priority. Later that cold night returning from the mountain top we loaded into an old Jeep Cherokee for the 4 mile bumpy ride home. One of the older hunters and my partner, 63, had to ride in the rear with the spare tire and hunting gear while the Guides girlfriend sat up front with the heater on full blast. We lost 1/2 a day of hunting and basically paid for the Guide to spend time with his girlfriend. The Hunting. There is 12 miles of property bordered by National Forest and BLM land. Of the 12 miles we only hunted in two small areas, the highest point of the property facing the Nat'l Forest and the lowest point facing BLM land. All the rest of the property was under development and not hunted. While the owner and Guides did work hard for our success only one of five hunters harvested an Elk or 20% success rate. The Guides were not allowed to cross the boundaries of the property. Had we shot an Elk in the Forest or BLM I was left with the impression we had to haul it out. That's what Guides get paid to do. The Food. While the website leads you to believe a 5 star chef is cooking your meals this was not the case for hunters, wedding only maybe. One of the owners and a Guides wife prepared the meals. They did an excellent job and the service was superb. Summary. We paid top dollar for this hunt. What we got was a bed in a fancy house, good food, an owner who wanted us to be successful and worked hard towards that end, inexperienced Guides experienced hunters, a property that is under development and not ready for prime time hunting and finally personal harassment. This place has great hunting potential. If you must go, go in 5 years.

Everything felt clean and easy to use. Customer Service Customer service was great. The staff were super friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which really added to the experience. Accessibility and Parking Parking was easy and convenient. There are quite a few stairs throughout the property. If you have bad knees or mobility issues, I would recommend taking your time. There are railings at the main pools, but not at the creekside pools, so just be cautious. Price The price is $35 per person for an all day pass. They also offer senior discounts. For the experience, atmosphere, and amenities, it felt worth it. Overall Experience Overall, Mount Princeton Hot Springs is a gorgeous, peaceful place to relax and reset. I really enjoyed myself visiting and would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a calming getaway.

The staff just were there for a job and offered up nothing. One pool seemed to have too much chlorine. The pools are moderately hot. The creekside pools looked enjoyable but the one theme people said is "if you can get there." Truth, as even able-bodied youth appeared to have trouble scrambling ambling over boulder cobble Chalk Creek banks to gain entry. Seemed treacherous. A large pipe fed hot water into the cold creek. Fees like 10$ for towels with 5 dollar refund were nickel and diming in my opinion. The location is beautiful. The facility is well built. Nothing was clear as to layout and where to go. There are other hot springs in the region that fit our vibe. We will not return.
