They used an artificial intelligence screening tool to decide the anesthesia needed for my…read morecolonoscopy instead of a human reading my records that were transferred to them. I was given the incorrect anesthesia and have to repeat it, missing another day of work as well as taking the prep. My concern is that they are double dipping the system and doing unnecessary colonoscopies. Poor "Mayo Experience " as well as poor customer relations from the OR management. Not having my repeat colonoscopy at this hospital.

I am writing strictly for prospective physicians who might consider working here. I am a…read moreradiologist who is currently working there, but about to retire. I would not recommend this job. They do not behave as if you are a professional, but rather as if you are a high school kid on your first job. You are not consulted on any changes to your schedule or responsibilities, simply assigned whatever they please. Worse, if ANYONE, from nurse to patient to janitor, has any complaints about you, you are guilty. You have no opportunity to defend yourself, nor even to know what the complaint actually is. In six years working here, I have never received a raise. There is no opportunity to even ask. Yet they demand ever increasing volumes of output. Staffing levels are determined by mysterious bureaucrats who you never see, and could not even name. If you simply want to go to work, not talk to anyone nor actually see a patient, this is the job for you. If you wish to actually be a professional, look elsewhere.

BEWARE! I was told upfront that the charge for a calcium…read morescan was $175.00 and that my insurance would not pay for this scan. I paid $175 for the service at the time of my appointment in November 2024. A few weeks later Rayus submitted a claim to my insurance company for $531.12, which was denied but paid by my FSA account. I never provided nor authorized Rayus to contact my insurance - why would I - I paid for the service at the time of the appointment. After many, many frustrating phone calls to Rayus the charge to my FSA account was eventually reversed. I still dont know why Rayus charged an additional $531.12. When I questioned this no one at Rayus could tell me what the charge was for. Then in Feb 2025, I received a check from Rayus for $531.12. I have not cashed the check because I am not due this money. I have made many attempts to contact Rayus customer service to try to resolve this and return their check. Then in May 2025 I received a letter from a collection agency stating I owe $531.12. I called the collection agency on 5/18 and 5/29 and explained this mess and also told them I have an uncashed check from Rayus made payable to me for the amount they are stating I owe. The collection company reps were understanding but said they said they cant resolve the matter because no one from Rayus is following up with them. I don't know how a company like Rayus stays in business. They are not ethical. And their customer service is a joke. Beware!

Awesome experience with both the MRI and the injection. They care about their patients.read more

The care given to the patients is amazing, you do not feel rushed ! I had nurses literally in the…read moreroom treating me for over an hour at a time!!! for the most part I received decent care... but because my an employee made the care decrease as they did not follow up with cleaning of site and trying for when going home How they treat their employees is not good, they do it make sure you work in a safe environment, when you report bullying they praise the people doing the bulling, and then grab as straws to terminate the staff who did not feel safe at work. Their training program is horrible and they constantly have a swing door of staff. From December 2024 through November 2024 n once department they lost 10 staff member. They will also blatantly loom at you and tell you that the accommodations made by your medical provider will be denied and they do not need to follow the request. They also will tell you they will no lt allow ADA accommodations because they stated they do no t see a disability, so I do not have e one, and that is externally against the law-

I delivered my baby here and they based my care off of anxiety and pain management. I walked into…read morethe surgery room for a c-section, hormones were all over the place just like anyone else would've gone through, lights blaring, 10 staff members standing in a circle, sterile environment, of course my anxiety was through the roof considering soon enough I was going to have a c-section. I have never had one done, anesthesiologist was great and so was my surgeon, quite a few people in training which made me feel a little uncomfortable but we both made it through the surgery safe. During recovery I had severe gas pains, nurses kept attempting me to start walking the next mid-day when I was still having severe gas pains and they looked at me like I was a joke as well as maybe acting? Or scared to walk?? Of course I would love to get up and run a marathon but it's difficult when you are experiencing horrid gas pains. Pain was not managed well, nurses wrote in false progress notes. 2 days after my surgery, my gas pains were still terrible, pain was still not managed correctly and I was also having muscle pains. I asked the nurse if there was anything else I could take such as a muscle relaxer to help with my pains along with the narcotics I was taking to help ease the pains. She talked to a lead RN and recommended vistaril.. it barely helped with muscle aches like a regular muscle relaxer would and it also knocked me out completely. I couldn't take care of my 2 day old baby... I was SO out of it like I was given a horse tranquilizer. I was pumping/breast feeding at the time so as you could imagine it was DIFFICULT to even hold up the pumps, I kept falling asleep and had to be woken up WHILE pumping.... I simply asked for a muscle relaxer or something else besides ibuprofen and Tylenol to help manage my pains considering 2 days prior I had a c-section. She based my pain on anxiety and pain management. Didn't give me the narcotic unless I asked for it because it was a prn (as needed) when again, I was literally just sliced into.... It should be common sense to just give it when it is available.. she was sassy when I asked another nurse that came in the room if I was able to have the narcotic and came in shortly after and said "I can't just give you the medication unless you ask for it so next time please ask and I will get you one". I was speechless. What was supposed to be a non stressful delivery experience, was very stressful, mentally exhausting/draining, the list goes on. Lactation ladies were amazing, don't get me wrong maybe like 2 nurses were AMAZING. 2 nurses helped me set up my pumps, watched my baby so I could rest for a few hours, helped me in the bathroom/with transfers with no hesitation and were very heartwarming good souls. I just don't understand why people work a job where there job requirements are patient based care. This one specific nurse that over drugged me, put in a progress note that I was "knocked out from the vistaril" and how I asked for something to help me sleep so she gave me that???; had me in tears. I did not expect to not be able to function. But I guess in her eyes "this was distressing" for me. (I blacked out the nurses name and the dates due to having respect for others) I highly suggest if you are getting a c-section or go into labor and delivery not to tell them you have anxiety. In short they might hit you with a sleeping pill and tell you it's a muscle relaxer and your muscles won't feel a difference! You'll get great sleep tho and feel so drunk when you are woken up to take care of your baby! But don't worry. They did their job???
