Wonderful staff! So wonderful to get a little insight of the history of this wonderful theater…read more Staff is very eager to share & and they've had lots of opportunities to meet all kinds of people. They really enjoy this! I don't think there was a bad seat in the house. I could see the stage very well, and my seat was very comfortable. The restrooms were centrally located. No waiting. Very tidy. I enjoyed the snack bar and merchandise tables so much. How wonderful we were able to enjoy lovely teaching a meditation from Gen-la Dekyong. She is a no deed none in the Kadampa Modern Buddhism Tradition. She is like the pope of this Buddhist tradition and she's a woman. She's a gentle woman, and she really shares her vast knowledge as one of Geshle's original students in the UNITED kingdom 40 + years of practicing education, tourism . Fun and enlightening!! Such a wonderful evening. This teaching was called "a life without fear " & she gave such profound wisdom with us all. It was nice to see a souvenir on the wall. Pictures in frames of starts that recorders and performed here. Gorgeous!!! I would love to return again.

I've been to Town Hall twice, both experiences were good/decent. The staff is incredible, everyone…read moreis really friendly from the bouncers outside to the bartenders inside. It's a straightforward theater so it's pretty easy to recognize where you need to go, but of course there is staff to help you to your seat anyway. The seats. The seats completely derail me everytime in these theaters. I'm sure there is not much that can be done as they want to keep their historical presence, but it's worse than an airplane seat. If you struggle to get comfortable in an airplane you'll surely struggle here. For a tall person, it's worse than an airplane seat, your knees WILL be in the person in front of you's neck, at least in the balcony. I am 5'8" and my legs were at an uncomfortable 45 degree angle with knees against the top of the seat in front of me. We are just built bigger than people were back then, and it makes those theaters really hard to get comfortable in. I was lucky enough to sit in the front row on my first visit, and that was much better when it comes to leg room. I didn't like the cocktail I got which was disappointing because it was $24!!!! It comes with a cute cup but it definitely wasn't worth it, I only had 3 sips. I think the bartender was heavy handed with the alcohol, which is a plus for some I guess. To be on the safe side and not waste your money, you might want to go with something that you know the taste of, like a beer or wine, but you'll still have to buy the cup (and you'll get $6 off the next pour). Overall it's a good experience, I've had a front row view and I've had a balcony view and both were great in terms of visibility.

In over 90% of the cases he/she will not know the answer. Many ordinance are on the books and are outlived and or outdated. The town makes no effort to keep them current or remove them. interesting experience with this Town, I never experienced any other county that places a violation, and if not attended to in the short window provided you go to court. That's where the Town's money making comes into play, the county attorney job is to get $$$, they will pressure you to settle and pay a min. of $500 for the slightest of violation. If you have a violation and it was not cleared up by the time of court ( and even if you did remedied the alleged violation, the Town still expects $$$ from you. This is where lies one of many problems.. your a taxpayer, comply with the violation and still have to pay a fine? This is very fishy. In another situation, say you didn't comply, you provided up to 9 months if you pay the fine plus an administrative fee within 30 days.

Outstanding Food, Impeccable Service and Genuine Kindness…read more I can't express enough how exceptional Vespa's food was and how incredible Adán and his staff were. Their service was absolutely impeccable. We arrived late because of unexpected delays at the cemetery, and Adán was beyond gracious and accommodating. He made a difficult day feel lighter. I hosted my mother's funeral luncheon at Vespa, and the way they cared for us meant more than I can say. Everything was handled with such kindness, professionalism, and genuine warmth. I am deeply grateful. Susan McCann

An Italian restaurant located on the main street of Downtown Farmingdale. Came on a weekday evening…read morefor early dinner and found street parking out in front. The place has a good amount of seating area including high tops, low booths, bar table, and a private room. There is also two unisex restrooms. I came with my boyfriend before an event at Farmingdale State College and we were on a time crunch. I made a reservation on OpenTable but it was not busy at all. We got greeted and seated immediately upon walking in. Then, a server came with ice water for the both of us before our actual waiter came to introduce herself and ask if we were ready to order. Shortly after ordering, the waitress brought us a plate of complimentary bread that comes with garlic on top and olive oil dip on bottom. We got the fried calamari which was perfectly battered (not too little nor too thick) and fried perfectly (not too burnt nor too pale). The taste was great and went well with the marinara sauce. The Clams Oreganata were delicious too - very meaty and flavorful with a nice sauce and lemon to squeeze on top. The Clams Vespa is very unique and creamy. It reminds me of a white Alfredo sauce with baked clams. They had a huge variety of drinks and it was hard for me to choose, but the lady recommended me the Sicilian Kiss which is a strawberry flavored cocktail. It is supposed to be on the sweeter side but the alcohol was strong too. As for our main entree, we got the Papperdelle Bolognese which was a veal, pork, beef ragu on ribbon pasta. Very well cooked and the taste and texture went perfectly together. We were so full, but never skip on dessert! I'm personally not a fan of cheesecake, but they have creme brulee cheesecake and rainbow cookie cheesecake which I would have loved to try if it wasn't for the cheesecake. But I was happy to find out I could order the rainbow cookie gelato that usually comes with the cheesecake. That was yummy! The texture reminded me of the cake mix Ice-Cream from Carvel and the flavor is not too strong. Overall, great vibes and service. Will definitely be back to the the pizza and other pastas.
