Just recently, we purchased a kitchen set, and we are very happy with the quality of it compared to other furniture in most other stores. When we went in, we were taken around the store and shown a wide variety of quality sets at various price ranges, by both Glenn and E.J.. We eventually decided on a set that we know will last for many years. I should mention as well that on another occasion one of the legs on one of our dining room chairs from a set we purchased from Ambers probably 25 years ago, broke off at the base of the chair. E.J. repaired it for us (all good and sturdy) and did not charge us for the repair. Both my wife and I appreciated the excellent sales service by all involved and know that when we buy from Ambers we will have something that will look great for years to come (and is also Canadian made).

Other family members have also purchased furniture here and are very satisfied with their purchases. The furniture holds up very well and seems to last forever. The customer service I received has also been extraordinarily good as well. I had one instance where through my own fault, I caused some damage, and they were quite helpful to repair it as good as new. I think the current location has been there for at least 35 years which speaks well for the selection, service and value they have provided over time and give them a 5-Star rating.

This time of year makes me want to live in my bed. Yeah, you heard me - LIVE IN MY BED…read more It's so friggin cold outside that I can definitely see the appeal of a bear's life. Hibernating for 6 months eh? NO PROBLEM. When you just can't seem to warm up ever, that's when Quilts Etc. comes into the picture. I needed a new duvet set for my bed and wasn't having much luck around town so I headed to Quilts Etc. and was extremely impressed with their selection of covers, bedding, drapery, duvets and pillows. It's basically the kinda store I'd like to get locked into overnight. With 4 locations in our city, and home delivery as an option, Quilts Etc. left me more than impressed. If you haven't had a chance to check 'em out, definitely head on by. There's no time like the freezing present.

I purchased the Pearl Mulberry Silk Duvet - Queen Size (200 GSM) from QE Home because it was…read moreadvertised as a lightweight option for warm sleepers and summer weather. Unfortunately, the duvet turned out to be significantly warmer than described, making it uncomfortable for my needs. Despite the "final sale" policy, I reached out to customer service after reading on their website that customers are encouraged to contact the team if a product doesn't meet expectations after the first night. I submitted a polite request for a refund or store credit, clearly explaining my situation. What followed was a frustrating and unprofessional customer service experience. My first email was completely ignored. I had to follow up, and only then did I receive a vague response saying my case had been forwarded to Fulfillment and that I would receive a reply within 24 hours. That follow-up never came. To make matters worse, I returned the item using their own prepaid Canada Post return label, and more than seven days later, the parcel still hasn't been scanned or tracked by Canada Post. I contacted Canada Post directly, and their representative told me the sender (QE Home) should be the one to file a claim--not me. Yet QE Home has taken no initiative to help resolve the issue or even check on their end. It's also worth pointing out the contradiction between what QE Home promotes and what they actually use: while their website advertises a different shipping provider, they still rely on Canada Post for returns, which clearly isn't working smoothly. That inconsistency and lack of accountability are not only confusing but reflect poor business practices. As it stands, I've returned the product, received no resolution, and am dealing with a potentially lost parcel--with zero meaningful support from QE Home. I expected much better from a company that claims to prioritize customer satisfaction. Very disappointing experience from start to finish. Order #215746
