As someone who struggles finding lingerie that fits due to my less than ample assets and looking for something exceptional Bellefleur was recommended to me by Cheryl from Belle Boudoir. After her recommendation, looking at the website, and reading the reviews I was super excited to check them out. Sadly me experience did not live to my expectations. Oh the product was gorgeous. Beautiful bras, fun panties, body suits, soft camisoles, and much more. Small shop with a lot of selection. The shop was cute, soft lighting, good sized dressing rooms, nice displays. It had so much! I am a novice. I don't know what is flattering, if I am wearing the right sized bra, nothing. When I entered I had this expectation of customer service but I never received what others spoke of. The young lady behind the counter glanced up, said hi, went back to the computer. I gave the benefit of the doubt thinking she may just be giving me time but after accidentally knocking 3 bra sets off the rack and she still didn't look up I realized she wasn't offering help. So I asked her for help. I told her why I was there. She told me she had no ideas and had never heard of Belle Boudoir which I thought was interesting since it's a business recommending another business. As I gathered sets as I was determined not to leave empty handed I saw three other women come into the store and leave with no more than a hi and a bye from the young lady behind the counter. After I shopped further she started making a few recommendations and her recommendations were solid! But it took me over 30 minutes before she started to engage me and most people don't have my patience. It could simply be she's new and still finding her groove but it's not what I expected. As I don't readily spend money on expensive lingerie I don't think I will be back soon to see if the customer service improves but there's so much potential!

Good thing I was in the neighborhood (Ballard) to finally pay a vist. Another real draw to me bookmarking the place was the name reminds me of the David Lynch film which I adore. Selection here is good. The "naughty " attire is more geared for the ladies but plenty of other inventory that would be quite suitable for straight or gay couples. Going off of the video section that covers those orientations pretty well also. Lots of whips and toys available as well as fetish gimp and pup masks too. Nice selection of lotions and such too. I wanted to find a classy lingerie shop that would host our group (5 ladies) for a private after store hours shopping session for 1-2 hours. After visiting the website, I saw they didn't offer anything like that (one other local shop did but couldn't accommodate us) so I sent her an email inquiring. To my surprise (and delight) Shadia replied VERY quickly and came to my rescue saying that she could accommodate. All the gals were dressed for a lovely dinner and our Uber pulled up to the shop. My sister started laughing and got super shy... she wasn't expecting a lingerie shopping sessions at all. I don't think she was into the idea at first BUT with all the gals' enthusiasm, Shadia being very inviting, sweet and helpful, this activity ended up being one of my sister's favorite out of the entire day. My sister was VERY grateful that Shadia opened her shop after hours and now she has a new awesome bathing suit for her destination wedding, a super cute romper for the wedding night ;) and some seamless undies to wear under her wedding!!! SUCCESS!!! All of the gals were able to try on garments. I guess my only criticism or negative is that larger breast gals / more full figured ladies will have trouble finding items that will fit. My size 6 sister had plenty of garments to try on; which was perfect! I'm 36DD so I was limited BUT I still walked away with a beautiful teddy/nighty that I'm really happy with! I love it! More about the private shopping (Shadia, you should totally offer this on your website and I would recommend taking a deposit from the person booking. The deposit (I suggest between $300-500) could go towards merchandise they plan on purchasing during the shopping session. I would do this especially if you provide snacks and bubbles. I know we brought our own sparkling wine but if you provide for folks then I'd hate for you to spend too much out-of-pocket).... anyways, Shadia offered snacks and wine when we connected on email. I told her we'd bring the wine and snacks were welcome if she wanted to provide. She had a lovely assortment of cheese/crackers/chocolate... it was so thoughtful and sweet for you to offer and provide. How would she act know my size without even using a measuring tape? It was like magic. I can't explain the feeling you have once you wear a bra that actually fits you. Like you thought you were a bra that fit you until that moment. You're like, "Whoa! This is what it feels like.
