This Ulta is in a shopping center with several other well-known businesses making it very convenient to pop in without having to continue driving elsewhere. The selection is about 6/10, not bad but nothing to get excited about. The staff was a downer. They had no interest in helping out. It seemed the only time they left the counter was to go check every shopper to see if they were shoplifting. It didn't exactly give off a customer-centric vibe. It was rather uncomfortable. They must have a lot of theft. Maybe they'd have less theft if they bothered to interact with their customers and not just "monitor" them.

My new hair colorist seems nice enough but therés a hit or miss or lack in enthusiasm, almost uninvested tone in it. For example, my prior visit, I came home with color staîns still on my neck, ears and around face perimeters. Tells me she did not wash off the colors and the blow dry and styling was probably the worst hair day i had, es no bueno especially you pay extra for them. Yet, she applies color well despite leaving my scalp visibly tainted for her pushing my hair smashed down at the top of me head rather than lifting them sideways so the sections are neatly stacked or stand up like other professional colorists I had previously. During this visit she asked if I want a drink, i said water but it never came. Her lack if attention and unenthused ´tude were disappointing. Here, i'm a new client and she is hardly trying---just being honest in my review-is all.

Hello Upper Management,…read more My apologies to Erin, the manager, and her team member at the Hair Cuttery located in Bull Run Plaza for the late review. I wanted to take this opportunity to recognize both of them for the wonderful job they did on my hair and my mom's hair. Erin was absolutely amazing. She took her time, was extremely patient, and was very professional throughout the entire process. I had highlights, toner, a haircut, and a blowout done. The appointment took almost four hours, but it was completely worth it! I was also pleasantly surprised that the final cost was less than I expected. My mom had her hair done on a different day. She was initially hesitant about going to get her hair done, but I convinced her to give it a try, and she was so happy that she did! Unfortunately, I apologize because I cannot remember the name of the hairdresser who did my mom's hair, but she also did a wonderful job. I truly hope Erin and her team member receive the recognition they deserve for their excellent customer service and hard work. Employees like them are a reflection of what great service should look like, and I believe they deserve to be acknowledged--and hopefully even rewarded with a raise! I've included pictures of our hairstyles after they were completed. We absolutely love how our hair turned out, and we will definitely be coming back again! Thank you both so much for a job well done! I highly recommend Erin and the hairdressers at the Hair Cuttery in Bull Run Plaza. You will not be disappointed!
