We found her to be very nice but overpriced, over talkative, and not professional. Our appointment was at 1:30pm and she arrived at 1:35 with her lunch in hand. We had to wait outside until she unlocked the door. Her desk was a mess and she had trouble finding the intake form. We had to wait longer while she set up. It might just be my standards, but I think it shows professionalism and seriousness when the workspace is clean, clear and ready for business when your client arrives, especially to make a good first impression. Then, during the facial, while the mask was setting, she made a personal phone call where we could overhear her discussion. The extractions were quite painful and my daughter winced and moved her feet quite a bit to get through it. The appointment itself was close to 2 hours long. Once again, Denyse was friendly and I like her integrative approach but overall we do not recommend nor will be returning.

One was canceled at 6:30am and another at 7:30. Both 4 hours before the appointment. I asked to reschedule due to the last-minute cancelation, but she never responded. One reservation was for someone who is on Yelp Elite, and the other person is heading back to the East Coast on Jan 2nd. Also, the refund of the two $25 deposits would take 5-7 business days. I ended up disputing the charges with my credit card company and got the money back immediately. Moral of the story is eventhough you schedule your appointment window, pay for the deposits and put in requests to take time off from work, you're still at the mercy of the business owner and when she decides to work.

Then she says just come in the facial room because your facial has already started. Just put this on, again one size fits all didn't fit around my toys, and actually popped open while we were in session. Then she rushed me through the session, didn't tell me a single product she was using the entire time. Then I was literally rushed into my massage, which was good. However she never even introduced herself. There wasn't time. Then when the massage was over you know how they're usually like ok, get up take your time. This lady laid my robe over my stomach and said get up slowly but your massage is over. Rushing me out. I've never had such bad experiences at Sawa. I've been going there off and on for 10 years. It's definitely changed since Covid. After your treatment they would walk you to a sitting area, remind you there's a hot tub to us, ask what kind of drink you want and bring you a plate of fruit and snacks. There was also granola and like chocolate covered raisin or something on the bar area where you could grab a little snack. Not anymore. They were clearly understaffed as well.
