However; We're finding several issues with this install, the molding is coming away from the walls, we've found bad patch work, and even manufacturers defects.It is too late for us to have these issues corrected therefore, I'm informing folks about this so you can be very VERY DILIGENT In inspecting your installs. During our consultation we looked at different samples of flooring. We were educated on the differences between the types of flooring we were interested in which were, hardwood, luxury vinyl and carpeting. After learning about the differences in flooring, we narrowed our decision down to carpet and luxury vinyl. We received the quotes for both carpeting & luxury vinyl fairly quick. They were both reasonably priced which we were very happy with and we decided on the luxury vinyl. We originally were going to go with a pattern that had some grey hues to it but did some research online and found a deeper color vinyl that we fell in love with. We called David and asked if he had that specific tile available. He didn't have it in stock so he ordered it for us!!!! We were very happy that he was able to accommodate our request. David arrived on time the day of installation. The rest is history. We will be using Sierra Carpet to change the flooring in our remaining rooms, hallway and staircase. We bought our home 4 years ago now and were ready for a change. The carpet we had was 9 years old. Now we have the most beautiful flooring in our living area. We were on our way to Black Chasm Caverns. It was about 11:55am when our lunch was disrupted by an ear-splitting, high-pitched sound. Seconds later, there was another and then another. By this time the grandkids had their hands clapped over their ears. I got up to find the source. Just out of sight, off the end of the patio, I saw a man, using an electric saw, cutting a large sheet metal duct, resulting in another ear-splitting whine. I asked a nearby worker if they were going to continue to work there. He said, "Yes." I asked him if they had to do that right now, at lunch time, next to the restaurant, when it was clearly a level of noise that required ear protection. He firmly replied, "Yes we do. We are on a deadline." No apology. He seemed annoyed by my question. I went into the restaurant and was told by the young woman behind the counter there was nothing she could do. She pointed to the office. I went to the office and talked to another woman, who told me that the workers are contracted and she could do nothing. We gathered up our food and left, in the midst of another ear-splitting whine. We had planned to come by for coffee and ice cream later, on the way home. We changed our minds and had our coffee and ice cream elsewhere, just in case the contractors weren't done making noise. I have never encountered such a dismissive attitude by a contractor in the midst of an operating business.
