Home ownership was always a distant dream for me. Until Jacqueline came along. I contacted her over three years ago and she immediately began sending me sites for review. I didn't take it too seriously because my credit was poor and I didn't think I made enough money. But after some negative items on my credit history fell off and a promotion at work occurred I decided to finally meet Jacqueline at one of the Condo sites she had sent me.
She was very professional but not distant or uppity. I was impressed by the amount of time she was willing to take to show me places and answer questions. I never felt any pressure from her one way or the other. She was extremely knowledgeable in all areas as she is both a mortgage and real estate broker.
One day, a Condo opened up that was a strone throw away from where I work. "Let's go for this," I told her, not knowing if I was serious about it myself. A week later the seller had accepted our offer and the Escrow process was beginning.
I know nothing about the home buying process except that it can be lengthy and full of challenges. But Jacqueline helped me navigate through every one of them. At the end of the process, the Escrow company sent me a check. Now it's true, I don't have any equity in the place yet (because i chose a VA 0 down loan), but for around $2,000 out of pocket, I was in my new home - and even most of that went for taxes, insurance and HOA fees.
After the sale was complete Jacqueline continued to help me in many ways: who do I pay and when? Where can I find good furnishing and items for the place? She has answered all these questions and more. I put my trust in Jacqueline and was rewarded handsomely. I feel quite sure that I'm not the only one. read more
