Close to home and seems nice. I called and Dee Dee got me in the next morning. Everyone there is so darn friendly and Dee Dee made my hair perfect again. I like ve it so much. I went in wanting my hair blonde again and cut short and showed her the picture below of what I wanted, which is a picture of me from a few years ago done by my old stylist in Vegas. I proceeded to get the worst cut I've ever gotten. The color was originally grey but they were able to fix the front at least but the back has no color. It looks like my natural color even though they dyed it and charged me for multiple bowls of color because my hair is thick. I paid almost 400 dollars for this haircut which I am used to paying my old stylist for my hair to look like the picture I showed her. Instead I got Kate Gosselin from Kate plus 8 circa early 2000's. I don't think this chop job that was done to the back and cutting it so short was really a 400 dollar job. I think everyone would agree looking at these pictures. I feel like I should have been offered a discount since both the color and cut were not what I asked for. The stylist knew I didn't like it because I was crying in the chair and told her I didn't like. I told her I looked like an old lady with the color and the cut was too short though it was to late to fix the shortness. When she started cutting, the chair was turned away from the mirror so I didn't see until it was too late. The owner came up to try to fix it and that's when the damage to the back took place and then she cut herself and bled all over me. It was just a nightmare of an experience and now I wonder if I will be able to find anyone in NWA who can do hair to the level I'm used too. I don't think the stylist I had or the owner are of the experience level to be charging that much. I hate to say that bc the girl I had was very nice but I told her ahead of time I have very thick hair, it takes several hours to do my hair and I wanted to go back full blonde from my natural darker color. I'm just very disappointed and to top it off I'm postpartum and already feel pretty awful about my appearance and thought this would make me feel better. Instead, I feel worse about myself and am embarrassed to leave the house until this grows out. Update: They did refund the full amount of the cost once they saw this review which I do really appreciate. Also the stylist I got this cut from was Gracen and the owner did the back. There may be other stylists at Copper and Oak that could do a better job, and I wouldn't want to take away business from them. I only have this one experience with this particular stylist and the owner to go off of.

However, when she was on maternity leave one of her peers did my hair and she did a great job. And Shannon, the owner of the salon always performs amazing transformations on the people I see in her chair. They do take walk-ins if there is an opening, but I would suggest at least a call ahead appointment. Each stylist manages her own schedule and pricing, so it may vary. There is also a true barber shop inside too. Overall the staff is capable, the salon is clean and well maintained, and the end result is always positive. The location is on Bentonville Square, so parking can sometimes be a challenge, but if you plan ahead for time then no worries.

I was happy to meet a new stylist and made an appointment for 2 pm with Hanna. I was in the area…read moreearly so I stopped at about 12:45 to check in. A lady at the desk confirmed it was 2. I returned at 1:45. The shop is one small room with waiting and stylist all in the same open room. I was seated about 20 feet from Hanna's chair and everyone can see everyone else in the shop. At 2:30- 30 MINUTES LATE-and after I had sat looking at everyone for 45 minutes------ No one had indicted she was running behind; No one smiled No one acknowledged my presence in any manner. Being that late is bad enough, but the rudeness and lack of consideration made it evident my business was not wanted or appreciated.

I've had my hair cut here many years on and off. The last person to cut my hair there has cut it 4…read moretimes. But the last time she cut it she dropped the comb on the filthy floor and proceeded to pick it straight off the floor to comb/cut my hair with it, didn't bother to clean it or grab a clean one. She had a drawer full of clean combs. So I complained, asked her to use a different/clean comb and to wash her hands before she'd continue. To day I come in and she berates me in front her manager. Probably because she is embarrassed about her own screw-up and does not want to admit it. I Can't remember her name (the Lady who cut my hair), but has her hair dyed black, has fair skin and wears glasses. Anyway, if you want a filthy hair cut, go see her.
