I was hesitant to make an appointment here because of what I had read about their poor service and…read morerigid policies (severe cancellation and late arrival penalties). I have two personal friends who were punished by these very policys. But I liked that Ultiskin offered an MD to administer services. I made an appointment. The office cancelled my appt just days before. But I'd already made a hotel room reservation in Santa Fe based on my going to this appt. I asked if someone other than the MD could see me. They shifted my appt to their nurse practitioner Anita. Their office called me 2x since the change, the first time my phone indicated who was calling, Dr. Fraker's office, I picked up, "Hello..." The Ultiskin employee said, "who is this?" I said, "You called me!" She said, "I forgot who I called." Hummmm. The other time they had no record of changing my appt so we had to start over. At the appt I enrolled in their frequent rewards program, "brilliant distinctions" based on a flyer they posted offering 100 free sign up points. Then I got my first email from the program, no sign up points, but I was credited with points for my visit. Hummmm. The BEST thing about Ultiskin is Anita, the nurse practitioner who I saw while there. She was positively AWESOME. She did not push me towards more than I wanted and was extremely careful about everything she did. She was a delight in every way. I loved her and would go out of my way to see her again and again. Like other reviews that I had read in advance of going to Ultiskin, I found the service to be exceptional and the administrative structure to be wobbly.

My husband and I see Ms. Johnston in her very lovely, peaceful office. He had acute panic attacks,…read morewhich made him very anxious. We had seen several therapists for this problem, but none really helped. Ms. Johnston is very compassionate, caring, and gets to the root of a problem with precision: She was the only one who prescribed the correct medication for my husband. He has really changed from the inside out, so to speak, and after several months of treatment, is so much more like his old self. She had connected the dots back to a traumatic experience he had, and taught him to employ centering and calming techniques to tamp down the anxiety before it could overwhelm him, plus she monitors his medication regularly to adjust the dose (which has come down quite a bit!). Diane Johnston has been a life saver for both of us!

For how much money I'm sure they are being paid they have no customer service skills, was hung up on, and don't return phone calls and make up fabricated stories about letters being delivered then letters never being sent at all in the first place! Which is it? They are grossly misrepresenting the Doctors they work for. They incorrectly reported time sensitive patient information in a message back to the doctor. (I'm sure the doctor has no knowledge of any of this which is more upsetting. They are ruining your reputation) No one followed up with me...I had to call back several times over the course of two month's trying to get an email sent for a time sensitive matter. My child was a patient of his and I of another medical specialist in the office. Unfortunately for them they have lost 2 cash paying patients of this office. We will never return because of the experience and the rude nurses running this place. They should all be let go and retrained and frankly they are a waste of your money literally!
