MADE in the USA! The sales associate/design consultant I had was Paras Hilstro who was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. She answered all of my questions that day and later in several emails. I was allowed to borrow 10 fabric samples to take home which helped me make a decision. I was able to place my order by phone which was very good. My furniture was arrived at Bassett two weeks ahead of the projected date. It was delivered 6 days before Thanksgiving which was perfect since I was hosting for the holiday. The delivery was flawless from competence of delivery men to setting up the furniture. I highly recommend Bassett Furniture for quality and value. In addition, I highly recommend Design Consultant Paras Hilstro for her excellent service including knowledge of this furniture line.

So far I've had them clean 2 ordinary rugs and one small oriental carpet. Turnaround is about 2 weeks and the end result seems just fine. I appreciated the unsolicited advice about the little oriental. I wasn't aware of the moth damage, the end that could be rewoven to extend the life of the carpet, and the edge binding that would be easy to replace/repair. I also was told the approximate cost of a new version in this size and quality which helps me judge the value of my item. So far it's been a good business relationship.

The lady was on the phone when I wanted to check out, and she asked me if I was ready. I only got a bag of organic raspberry tea leaves, and she went back to get change...I got a dollar something in coins, and she asked if I wanted a bag. I said, 'I think I'll be ok.' And she snaps, 'is that a no?' Well jeez lady, go ahead and work with your supplier on the phone...I just won't disturb you and try to buy anything next time.....Other than rude customer service, I'd say the place was an interesting little hole in the wall place. In the front room there is a beautiful selection of children's books and high quality gifts. The middle room seemed to be mainly seasonal decor and kitchen type items, from towels to aprons (I think they were aprons, I didn't have time to really go through them all.) The back room had a gorgeous selection of shawls, calendars, artwork, etc. I recommend stopping in, not only for herbs/tea, but to take a look at their selection of country-chic gifts as well!

I brought my item to Certified Framing & Gallery and they put in new glass, repositioned/centered the lithograph, they appeared to have polished/cleaned the frame and put on a new backing with new wire and hardware to hang. My wife and I have a collection of autographed pictures that we want to hang in our house together…read more We wanted the frames to match but we couldn't afford to have six custom frames made so we purchased some inexpensive ones. However, the matting and the glass in cheap frames leaves a lot to be desired. I brought everything here, and we worked out a deal where they would custom cut replacement matting, UV protection glass, and then attached the pictures to the matting. When we picked them up, we just had to reinstall everything in the frames we already had (which they confirmed we pretty good quality frames). We are very pleased with the results.
