When it's all over my gel nails feel like they have bricks on them and the gel feels like it's poking my skin around the nail, extremely irritating and uncomfortable. To top it all off when I finally see them in the sunlight/touch them, they're bumpy and uneven. I didn't even trust this place to remove them, plus I didn't feel like tolerating more attitude, so I went and got them redone somewhere else next day lol, now the pain is completely gone. I just had soaked off and removed a set & my nails had a little residual glue & were fairly brittle but my cuticles were nice & well kept.... The woman who did them was in a rush & I was told it's her birthday so I was like okay totally fine like let's get you home to your family! She was looking around not paying attention & cut my cuticles/nail walls so badly I was bleeding. The polish was overflown, uneven & she skipped a coat on one hand. I didn't make a fuss bc I didn't want her to get in trouble especially on her birthday but wow they were awful & my fingers are still throbbing. I came in to get them fixed & had to do tips bc of how filed down they were & was charged 20 to do dip & extensions but I only did dip & extensions bc of the nubs & overly filed/uneven nails. It was quite painful getting them redone & she did glitter for free which is nice but personally if I hurt someone that much I wouldn't be charging a dime & would apologize. I've tried at least five other nail salons in the area over the years for convenience or timing, but Ellen at 436 is truly the best. She's kind, listens, and always delivers beautiful results. She fits me in, works efficiently, and leaves me with perfect SNS on my natural nails every time. I've also seen a few other techs for gel pedicures and have always left happy. Such a great place all around!
