thought my trip was ruined when I pulled a bonehead move and thought I totaled my lower unit on my bass boat. had to get towed off of lake and Toni said they would wait for me to check it out. I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews. B&T saved the day for us. With Covid, all of the lake Powell boat tours were closed down. As a result, all of the local boat and jet ski rental companies were swamped. After calling around to 4-5 places we accepted the fact that we wouldn't see the lake the one day we were in Page. We took a channel and messaged B&T late at night and the owner (Toni) quickly replied to call her in the morning. The next morning Brandon hooked us up with a jet ski for the day and the use of one of their rental trucks to tow the jet ski to/from the loading ramp. We were newbies to the boat ramp "do's and don'ts" but had experience with backing up a truck and trailer. Some experience is helpful and some patience may be required. The state line boat ramp guys are helpful in case you need any pointers. The truck and jet ski were older models but performed perfectly. We were able to spend 6 incredible hours on the lake and experience all the narrow passages that you can only see by jet ski. It was an awesome day! Thanks guys! read more

My husband and I rented 2 jet skis from B&T Marine!! We had such a great experience right at pick up. They were so nice and explained everything clearly so that we had a safe ride. They had the jet skis ready to go by the time we got there. Side note: there were about 3 customer before us but the line went pretty fast. The jet skis were great, no problems on the water. We were on the water for a few hours and we still had 1/2 tank of gas left when we got out of the water. I would definitely recommend this family owned place for your water rentals! This is going to be a rather lengthy review and I'll sum it up in two parts. The first being a short paragraph on my opinion of this business and the second being a full, in depth analysis of what happened. I want to say first off if you go look at my profile you will see very few negative reviews because I hate to post those types of reviews. I waited a few days to post this because I was so mad I needed to calm down and collect my thoughts. As someone who's family operates by owning small businesses, there is only one other time I wrote a negative review about a small business and that was because they were bigots. In a lump sum, Tony and her staff(except her son Brandon who I will get to in part two) are rude, condescending, unprofessional people who don't give two craps about you or your business. Tony has a severe mental issue who shows off and is quick to let you know she doesn't need your business if you even hint at the slightest bit of criticism. She is an authoritative type person who is right about everything and that's the way it is. Judging by some of the negative reviews on this place, I fully expect her to leave a snarky response and I'll be editing my comment to respond to it. Again, I truly hate to leave a review like this but what happened was unacceptable and I don't want it to happen to anyone else. Only once more in my life have I ever been this mad at a business. So as it goes, I wanted to rent two jet skis for my friend, sister, and myself. I found this business as I was specifically looking for a Seadoo and the first place I had called said they only rented Honda's. They were nice folks and understood why I wanted a seadoo and I continued my search until I found B&T Marine. I called and a very friendly gentleman named Brandon answered. He was a very nice person, quick to answer any questions, and very responsive. From dealing with him, I was sure this was going to be an amazing experience. I paid the price of Seadoo and I was left only to pay the remaining deposit of $500 per ski upon arrival. We also paid for a truck and trailer since my Prius didn't have a hitch. I was pumped! The day arrived(Thursday, June 25th) and we arrive at the business around 10am. There was one customer renting a boat who Tony was dealing with and the second I walked in the gentlemen(I don't know his name, he was an older gentlemen and I will refer to him as "sidekick" and you'll find out why) and Tony had both asked me to put on a mask. Very reasonable request and I asked if I could just lift my shirt over my nose(I had lost my mask that very morning) and Tony was very quick to provide us with two masks for my friend and myself(my sister waited in the car) and we promptly put them on and waited far away from the counter(fairly large showroom) to respect social distancing. In a rather rude demeanor, Tony "instructed" us to wait outside. It was pretty off putting the way were "asked" however as I walked out I politely asked to use the restroom and in a very rude tone I was told "NO THERE IS A VIRUS GOING ON." I looked at her stunned and she seemed to realized how rude she was so she changed her tone a bit and in a more polite way told me there was a restroom for use around the corner. I thought maybe she was having a bad morning and I shook my head and walked out without saying anything. I dropped the issue or so I thought. We waited outside for a few minutes until the other customer who rented the full sized boat came outside and my friend & I proceeded inside to pay the deposit and finalize the transaction so we could have a great day on the lake. I greeted Tony again and in a disinterested manner she responded "hi" and then proceeded to bring the restroom issue back up. In a polite way, retorted "ma'am, I understand but I can hope you understand it's a bit frustrating I paid $1600 to rent two Jetskis and I can't even take a pee in your restroom." That's all there was to it. I wasn't mad about it, just a tad frustrated. That led Tony to inform me I didn't pay 1600 dollars which I found interesting. In order to rent these watercraft $1600 was needed and I reminded her that. I swear on my life I was not rude when saying to her. She didn't waist a single second to cancel my entire transaction, refund my money, and kick me out. My blood began to boil at this point but I kept myself calm and collected and tried to talk to her. She calmed down a bit, told me that based on her experience with customers that have a bad start it usually ends bad. I responded, I completely agree as I work for my Father Time to time to help him out as he owns a small business to rent cars and what Tony said was entirely true. The issue was her attitude. Yelp isn't letting me post anymore so I posted my full response on their Facebook page. Toni is a gem. She knows this lake and 7th Wonder like the back of her hand. Before you call, take a deep breath, but your fast paced internet savvy ego in the closet, and give wisdom a chance. I "knew too much the first time I called" and am so grateful I called back and appreciated how gracious she is. I would have had a good touristy trip...see the canyons and wonder, but miss the hidden jewels, and they are here, you just won't find them on your own or on the internet. We rented jet skis for 3 days that then broke down after one full day and had to tow them back to Antílope marina. Both jet skis wouldn't run and said they needed maintenance. After a painfully slow brutal 9 hour tow back to the marina we arrived at 10pm (after closing time) filled up the tanks and told the company that we had them waiting at the marina for them to come pick up. They then went on to charge my account for $2000 without authorization and 6 weeks later continued to drain my bank account without further authorization. This place is terrible. They upsold me on a Honda TURBO which came out to be around $100 extra and the machine ran like crap. Didn't accelerate, pulled to the left, and the steering was extremely loose. They seem nice at first and give you good service and are respectful, but that all changes the moment you return their jet skis. They look for anything and everything to overcharge you for, it's a money grab. They literally looked at my Jet Ski for 30 mins once we returned it and approved that everything was good, said we would get our refund back. We left for our 4 hour drive back to PHX, TONI called us 30 mins later and said we had to come back because she found issues with the ski, 30 MINUTES LATER! We were already out of town and said if we don't come back she is charging the full $500. The most ridiculous service I have ever experienced, TONI becomes extremely rude and talks down to you like you are a child. Beware renting from these people, DON'T DO IT. We're so happy we rented from this place. We didn't have a boat or truck but we really wanted to enjoy Powell. We found Toni's place online and she helped us choose a boat. We misunderstood the price and she was so helpful making sure to fit everything in our budget. We were able to rent a truck from her and she threw in a tube for the kids and provided life jackets. It was our first time driving a boat so while we were inexperienced her staff was so helpful and great making sure we knew the liability and how to be careful. We did have to return the boat an hour early due to some oil pressure issues but she was fantastic and worked it out with us. We were so pleased with our experience. We're not family or friends but after working with Toni for a day she feels like a close friend. We'd rent from her again! read more

Renters beware, this company is a total scam. The company rented me a boat that did not work. Unfortunately we did not realize this until halfway up lake Powell on the houseboat. I called the company and they initially did not respond for hours and then were upset that I was bothering them. The mechanic told me I did not know how to drive a boat, even though I have a lot of previous boating experience. They refused to come and help me and I ended up having to get the boat towed back in by the dock. When I went to talk to them about getting a refund, they originally did not want to give it to me, stating that I looked like someone who knew how to drive boats so they didn't feel it was it was necessary to tell me the "special way" to start this one. I left and told them I would need a refund. They then called me and told me the boat was working perfectly and I had actually lost the cover of the boat, which was never there to begin with!!! Luckily I took pictures and videos. When I told them that, the owner started cussing me out over the phone. I got my money back but it put a damper on our entire trip and really left a sour taste in my mouth. I've heard similar reports about this company too, I wish I had read reviews first. I cancelled my card to make sure they would do anything with the information. Seriously, avoid this company. read more

(Great resource of beautiful spots to visit) She connected us to the best houseboat, and fastest boat and jet skis available! Coming to Lake Powell with the mindset that there will be many available jet skis to rent out in the marina and not need to plan in advance. I was wrong. No jet skis in the marinas were available to rent out. Girlfriend and I scrambled in the morning to find jet skis. Brandon saved the day for us! He had last two jet skis available, however, unable to tow it for us to the marina. We called U Haul and had a 10' moving truck with a hitch for us to use. We brought it to B&T Marine and Brandon hooked it up for us. ( I have no experience with towing nor unloading and loading at the marina) Brandon provided us with excellent news of a valet unloading/loading boat service at the Antelope Point View Marina. $30 for valet service was worth it especially if you have no idea what to do. Brandon provided us with a map of Lake Powell and places to visit. At the end of the day Toni took over backing up the jet skis into place. The people at B&T Marine took care of us for sure. So if you you are scrambling to get jet skis last min. Give them a call first. They made our day and highly recommend them. She had already sent other customers that morning in exact similar manner to scramble over to UHaul at the last minute (knowing that their inventory was already depleted). My trip was pre-planned over 1 month in advance, and none of this was disclosed by B&T Marine, I am not an inexperienced boater and if we all knew about this, appropriate preparations would have been made. With great fortune however we obtained a surplus rental truck at UHaul for $55.00 and returned to M&T Marine within 15 minutes, which shocked the owner. I was then still refused service despite having a tow vehicle, because the owner Toni Foust stated she "did not like me" because she claimed "that I had called her a jerk" while I was at the UHaul dealer, and she was going to tear up and unilaterally terminate my boat rental contract and provide it instead to someone else for more money. There was no logical reason for this except the business owner was committing a deceptive and unfair business practice as she stated "its Columbus Day weekend, boat rentals are in high demand, and I can rent the boat to 25 more people for more money than you." She then ordered me to immediate leave the business premises and provided no proof of refund of our money. After I stepped outside, she asked William Foust to escort me off the parking lot, who then screamed at me as loud he could as being a "mother f***er" and to get the f*** off their property, at close physical proximity to myself strongly inferring impending physical violence, and yelled additional profanities while I attempted to locate my truck keys. These actions left us to conclude these were either professional scam artists and/or are mentally unfit individuals to conduct business with the public. I did not receive any refund for the $347.70 pre-paid boat rental until weeks later, and there were no additional boat rentals available anywhere for Lake Powell that entire weekend. We knew it was a long shot to find a boat for a day with outback last minute trip to Powell and after dealing with a very rude lady at Wahweap marina, and then being informed by a very nice man at Stateline that every piece of equipment was rented until after the July 4th weekend. I was defrauded by Toni & William Foust and B&T Marine Inc. into paying in advance for the boat rental, they intentionally refused to provide the services I paid for in full, and caused both me and my wife to lose much additional personal time and expense in wasting a trip to Page. They discriminated against us by refusing to provide services to someone "they did not like" once we met them in person at their business. Do NOT advance reserve any boats with this company, they are completely unreliable. Rent directly from Wahweep or Antellope Marinas, it would be 100% worth the extra money, they are directly on the water and are way more professional. read more

We had such a great experience with B&T Marine. We called just a week before July 4th weekend and luckily they had one boat left. My boyfriend, myself, and my brother rented a 19 foot Bayliner for 2 days. Toni was flexible with the pick up time and let us snag a few toys from the shop to take out on the water with us (tube and ski). She laid out a map and told us the best places to go, places to skip, pointed out fuel docks, etc. and let us know to contact her at any time throughout the weekend with questions. Our holiday weekend was SO much better having the boat. There's so much to explore on Lake Powell...just sitting on Lone Rock Beach would not have provided such an amazing experience. There's NO need to spend $800 to rent a boat at one of the marinas. We will most likely rent again next weekend! read more
