If you have vehicle that can tow a boat, I would definitely recommend Buzz Off Power Sports because it is much more reasonably priced than the other companies on the water. When we got to the location, Buzz and Leslie gave us a map and highlighted areas where low water levels were low, which we found extremely helpful and made sure to stay clear of. They also showed us the locations of where we can get fuel and ice. Also very helpful! Those beers can't stay cold on their own! ;) We reserved the Montery 214 powerboat and it couldn't have been more perfect! The boat was in excellent condition, easy to drive, and had a great wave. We went wake-boarding quite a bit that weekend and had to refuel the boat. There's a gas station at Buzz Off, so we didn't have to go through the hassle finding one. Convenience! I will definitely rent from this location again!

They are patient when going over the equipment, explaining everything about how to operate them, and they are happy to answer any questions about the lake or the area. We rented two Honda FX-12's for one week in July 2011. They were in great condition, ran strong, and were a blast. The Honda's were on a nice double trailer, and they even offered extra gas cans and anchor bags at no charge. My hitch was a little "tall" for the setup so they provided a lower hitch which worked great. Next time we come back I won't bother looking around for a place to rent my toys, I will just call Leslie and set it up. They are located about 15 minutes from the Wawheap Marina, and 20 from Page. Looking forward to seeing them again soon!!

As a national monument, I expected there to be an entrance ticket booth. I was traveling from Zion to Flagstaff. but this place was nowhere to be found the yelp map pointer we are taking you to a vista spot where later I realized you can see the whole vermillion from there in the distance. So how did I find it? I want to keep driving. And all the sudden I saw something stunning from the window... if there wasn't and a car parked there selling tribe souvenirs I wouldn't even know I could drive in there... It was a weekday and barely anyone there . The lady that was supposed to be selling the souvenirs was probably sleeping in the car and didn't bother to come out. I don't have high clearance vehicle , so I tried to park at a more flat area... but if you have high clearance vehicle, I think you can drive around all the rock formations without any problem. If not, you can also explore on foot!

Although you can get some great shots from the main highway, most of the trails/roads you do need a high clearance vehicle/four wheel drive due to sand being so deep. Most of the roads are all dirt so be cautious if raining etc. if venturing in Coyote Buttes (the wave) you need a permit. Camping is allowed. While you could spend literal days here backpacking etc you still won't see it all. Take your time. I'm bummed we didn't see a condor or two. Maybe on our next trip.

It was initially hard to get ahold of someone on the phone, because I had a lot of questions about what to expect. Lone Rock came recommended by our Airbnb host and did not disappoint. I was happy to know about the two marinas and availability of bathrooms and supplies on the water. We launched at a great location that was easy to access and everything was taken care of. I initially thought we'd only want to be out for a half day, but we all had such a great time and it went too fast. A map was provided but I wish I would have done more research about the best places to go in the time we had. We went down Navajo Canyon and swam with the looming cliffs. We ran out of time to go to Lone Rock and maybe should have done that first. It was still a hot day and the water warm enough to swim, but not very crowded. It was amazing and definitely worth it.

The fruits in the orchard weren't ripe yet, but it was fun to walk around the ranch and really feel the pull of history by settlers eking out a living. It's a beautiful place, but you can't fill your stomach with views. It must have been very hard work to survive. Head down the road to Lees Ferry where you can do some camping or even boat the Colorado River. I saw a grazing wild horse on the other side of the Colorado, as well as a bunch of birds. It's on my bucket list to go on a commercial river trip down the Colorado river since I heard that the view is amazing and a unique experience. This place is unimaginably beautiful.

You can go down by the Colorado river and put your toes in the cold water. There wasn't a lot of people here today which was great! We stopped at the Navajo bridge and walked on the old 1927 bridge that is now for pedestrians only. Got some great pics and saw a Condor was hanging out under one side! Check out the pics! Lots to do here. Great fun for all ages. The Condor we saw and posted picture of is a wild Male born of wild parents. Was so cool to see him from about 20 feet away.

This beach is located right across the border in Utah. We drove over on a Saturday late afternoon. When driving to the shoreline, be careful to follow the path. Unless you have the right vehicle with four-wheel drive, you don't want to risk getting stuck. As you get closer and closer, you'll see a good amount of cars packed a decent ways from the water. There's a reason for this. After a certain point, if gets quite sandy. Unless you have a car for the terrain, you will get stuck. There are signs warning of this danger and we even saw some poor souls who were in this very predicament. Instead, park your car, and make your way by foot. Once you do, you'll be impressed by the beauty of your surroundings. The cliffs in the background. The beautiful water of the lake. Some people chill by the beach. Others rent boats. We stopped by for 20 minutes and made our way. Whether Lone Rock or somewhere else, checking out Lake Powell while in Page is a must!

It was busy as it was labor day weekend and a lot of people were out here camping. There is a parking lot area up at the top with bathrooms and it is about a 0.5 mile walk to the water. The walk is not bad unless it is very hot out as there is no shade. There is deep sand everywhere and we saw MANY people get stuck with their cars. Its important to be super careful when driving out onto the sand.... Entrance fee was $30 per vehicle and the ranger was friendly.

Even on Labor Day weekend, we saw maybe 6 other cars the whole time. A four-wheel drive, high-clearance vehicle is strongly recommended. There are plenty of campsites with fire rings, but keep in mind there are no other campsite amenities. The landscape on the ride there was other-worldly, but the views of Lake Powell were just jaw-dropping. We got there in time for sunset views, then woke up to the best morning cloud porn of our lives. We were also lucky enough to watch not one, but two Sunday night fireworks displays going off on the lake below. Highly recommend for all you outdoorsy, adventurous folk!

We journeyed out here a few weeks back in our Jeep Renegade on what would be our first time really using it in an off-road situation. We didn't get stuck at all, even though we don't know how to off-road very well, but there were a few sketchy parts so just be careful when you get to the part where high clearance 4WD is recommended because the warnings are serious. Once we got out to the views the path becomes pretty poorly visible so we didn't know exactly where we wanted to go, but we found a good spot where a fire had been previously and chose that as our campsite. It was awesome. Check out the photos if you don't believe me!! Also, we got there when there was plenty of daylight and left when there was plenty of daylight so we wouldn't have to worry about driving around next to cliffs and tons of slickrock in the dark.
