The problem remained unknown and I was ultimately referred to Bridge Street Auto. I appreciated the transparency and communication regarding the diagnostics, problems found and the cost of repairs. In the course of the work, there were some parts that could benefit being replaced, and I was consulted about any 'new' item that came up that we hadn't previously discussed. Within a week or so I had my truck back, running smoothly again, and at a cost that was honest and fair. I have been driving the truck regularly and I have Bridge Street Auto to thank!

I had been having an issue with my cars rear fender piece popping out, even if I push the piece back in it'll inevitably come out again. This was actually the second auto part store I'd been to today and my treatment was just as bad if not worse than the first store. In the beginning of the interaction, the employee was actually super helpful. He listened to my problem, walked me to the part I needed and then helped pick out the right one. He even offered to check my car to make sure the part would actually work. We got outside and he takes a look at my car, first at the broken side, and then at the normal side then back at the broken side again. He then informed me that the part I thought I needed wouldn't actually fix the problem. This is where the interaction goes downhill. He then says, and I quote, "do you have a boyfriend?" THEN PAUSES for a second before continuing, "or a dad or other male figure who knows how to use a drill?" WHAT THE HELL!!!!! I just kinda stood there in shock because I know how to use a drill. It's 2022 I shouldn't have to say this but I don't need a man to help me fix my car! I am competent on my own!!! He continues to stare at me waiting for an answer so I panic and just say "yeah I know someone who can help" He then goes, "alright yeah have him look at it and he'll fix it for you." WTF!!!!!! So naturally I asked him to elaborate so I could "pass it on" to the imaginary man who is going to repair my car for me. He explains it to me as if I were five. I am not one to pull a "Karen" so I played nice during this whole interaction. After he walked back into the store, with the part I did need but didn't purchase because he said I didn't need it, (spoiler I went and bought it from elsewhere and now my car is fixed) I drove off, pretty damn pissed and decided to never come back to AutoZone again. Not that I need to validate the fact that I can use a drill, but I have worked in construction before. Shortly after fueling in Medford, I noticed what looked like light smoke in the mirror. Within a few miles we had lost about an eighth of a tank of fuel, and after pulling off it was clear we had a major fuel leak after the pump--nothing I could fix on the side of the road. AAA towed both our truck and trailer to Kelly's. Even with other vehicles ahead of us, they diagnosed the problem quickly. The repair wasn't simple due to how buried the component was, but they handled it efficiently and got us back on the road. Jeremy, the mechanic, took the time to explain things and clearly knows his craft. Justin was also very helpful and communicative throughout the process. Breakdowns are never convenient, but we felt we were in good hands. I would recommend Kelly's Automotive without hesitation.

Things didn't go as planned initially because of a warehouse miscommunication, and I was pretty annoyed. In addition a part (springs) I ordered was not in stock (COVID). The part out of stock was set to arrive in October. I initially wanted a partial shipment, but changed my mind a couple of days later and indicated all could be shipped at the same time. I expected everything to arrive around October. Today, I get an email stating everything had shipped, including the springs that were on back order. I emailed Josh at Wheeler's to confirm this was true. He said it was and I'm expecting to get everything today (09/01/2020). Wheeler's turned what could have become a really bad experience into something good, which is something all of their customers expect from them. Thank you, Wheeler's. I'm a customer for life.

Lots of new hardware and everything came back so fresh and so clean! I almost rebuilt it myself but for the price I paid. $1143.88 + $48 shipping there it was a deal. The rebuild kit itself is $600 so the extra is worth the headache I avoided. The build is a little cheaper if you dont choose the aftermarket bracket. Thank you for the great work!
