I visited the Crewe store yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, 7 March, 2018), in search of certain plants and compost. I couldn't find the particular compost I needed, so asked a gentleman in the Garden Section, for advice. He was extremely helpful, found me what I wanted, then I went to pay, having intended to say I would need the compost delivering, as there were lots of bags of different sorts. I went to pay, Mark pushing the compost trolley - I paid for the plants and the compost, then Mark had the impression I was taking the compost home in my car, but I said I needed it delivering, which then caused a problem: we had to go to the 'Returns' counter and the computer there started 'playing up'! The kind lady struggled to sort it out, rang for help, and was very patient, till eventually, it was sorted. Mark then went to where he had to arrange delivery; more computer trouble, it just wouldn't behave! It refused my Over 60's Rewards Card - with which I had paid for my goods just a little earlier. Mark was so good - he spent ages trying to sort out the frustrating problems, which seemed to have no reason, he didn't 'lose his cool', he was really kind to me, especially as it was my fault for not having made it clear I needed the compost delivering...
I'd just like you to know, Mark (I don't know his surname) could not have been a better, more courteous - and long-suffering! - gentleman. I am indebted to him for his exceptional service, which I appreciated greatly!
My thanks to him - and to the lady at the 'Returns' counter.
