Needless to say, the large blue exterior, with clear windows offering gazes into the wonders within, intrigued me. As I entered, I was surprised to see the extent of goods available in this shop. It certainly can be considered a miniature department store. Clothes, groceries, clothes, toys, DVDs, car accessories, camping accessories, DIY, stationary..... the list is seemingly endless. I first explored the DVD section and was amazed to see many familiar, popular titles included in a two for a fiver deal. I ended up purchasing two reasonably priced reporters notepads at two for £1.50. The reason I have put this under "reasonably priced" is that the paper quality isn't that fantastic, and I observed that this was probably the case which a lot of the stock available. However, is that not expected from such a discount store? The stock was very well presented and the staff offered a friendly mannerism. Overall, four stars due to the fact that a lot of the products available aren't of great quality which may leave some disappointed.

The Factory Shop is Dunbar's big department store but it is smaller than some I've seen. It sells…read moreclothing, electrical, homewares and toys but the range isn't the best. They only use about two thirds of the building and there is a big empty space next door. A big 5800 sq ft going to waste. There is a toilet in store but it is pretty cramped and not the cleanest I've seen anywhere. The staff here are very friendly and helpful however. I kind of wish we had gotten Primark instead of this but it does the job. They also have a good confectionery selection.

Disappointment. I was excited for this store…read more This store has interesting clothing to offer - some vintage some new. The prices were pretty steep. Many clothes were damaged, and the tag did not mention the damaged item. I understand that items are vintage, but it should be disclosed of the condition of the clothing. The v store was very hot and packed with people. I was unable to look at everything because shoppers kept bumping into me or cutting me off unfortunately. The clothes were not very organized either. It was hard to look through them. If they did crowd control and limit the shoppers inside, I may have had a better experience. This has been the most disappointing shop during my Scotland holiday so far.

Sales of Aunt Bessie frozen yorkshire puddings have been known to hit record highs whenever another new state benefit is introduced by the Government, while the flow of pot noodles peaks on an average giro day, then tails off over the rest of the week. So basically, I have deduced that poor mums go to Iceland, because they cannot afford to visit M&S. Close to Ladbrokes bookmaker, if the mums "partner" has been working 'on the side' recently.
