I have gone to their first shop for a few years now and always tell family and friends about them! They do small jobs to the large jobs, and even do emission testing! They are one of the top shops on the list for Melrose too. They did two of my vehicles for emissions. They are Mexican and speak Spanish, but the son that co-owns is fluent in English. They do require you to drop off your car for the jobs, and do not have a waiting area. Overall, I have had wonderful experiences with them, as well as my family, and we will continue to go back! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

He told me they were NOT out a week and he'd call me by days end, he didn't. I visited the following day since they're a stone throw away. He said I could bring my car in a week later! I did so this morning 3/28/23 at 8:30 am and I asked what his schedule was like. Mike told me they had 1 car to finish & I'd be next. At 3 pm I walked over since I'd received no call, I was told that they tested it but that they couldn't determine the exact problem and wanted to keep it for more testing. The problem is they were working on OTHER cars when I arrived and this guy had nothing but BS excuses telling me they didn't want to just start replacing parts, and that 1 of them cost $200 like that would be some sort of deterent or reason for not going forward with the repair! I'm not sure if he's infering that I couldn't afford it or if he's just incompetent. Either way I'm very disappointed given that I live right next door & I'm in need of a local mechanic.

The primary owner Joe made me feel like I was overreacting and he was condescending. We had to bring it back 8 times over 11 months before they finally decided to replace the transmission. In addition, poor communication about how long they needed to keep the car each time led me to have to rent a car at my expense for out of town family commitments. It was so frustrating that I started to have my partner talk to them because I had had enough. Mike was better at communicating, but it still didn't make up for the 8 different times that we had to bring it back in.

Not professional, not knowledgable, no accountability…read more I called on Tuesday to see if I can leave my car with them Thursday to get a check engine light resolved and brakes checked. I mentioned it was important I get the car back by Monday morning for work and they said it would be done by Friday. 8am Monday comes around, no phone call last week, the weekend, I call they said they didn't know i needed it Monday morning, they are just starting it. They said no one told them that.. I then have to take off work. I get a phone call at 10:40am about the results, I need a new EVAP canister PURGE per code, which I received too on my device. Then over $900 for only my front brakes. I just say yes at this point because I have work at 5:30am the next morning and need my truck. I got to pickup my truck at 2pm, the guy at the front desk asks me about my display how it's not working. I thought that was odd, I go to my truck and now my radio screen/display will not light up or display. I asked what happened the other guy Mike starts yelling at me when I asked how can I leave it with you guys, you clear codes, and now my display won't work. He did try and do a few things but acted like he didn't know about it, but the other guy did? Very suspicious. Didn't want any ownership, yelled at me for it not being his fault. I now have no AC because I can't access my display on the hottest week of the year so far and they offered no resolution or offered to take it back in to try and fix the issue.. I had work done by them last year when I moved out here, I trusted them. I thought I had a local, reliable mechanic like I did where I'm from, but I see now that they're unfortunately just like all the rest. I'd pay their prices for a good experience and trustworthiness, but that is gone. I would recommend shopping around mechanics so the same experience doesn't happen to you.
