The deli staff were all incredibly sweet and fun. We got fried chicken, catfish, mashed potatoes, macaroni, and all of it was SO good. Grocery prices were reasonable, all staff were wearing masks (properly!!!!). Great place!

While they are sometimes a bit pricey on some items, they do offer specials & deals on canned goods. Most of their staff are pleasant & willing to be helpful.

Syrup, yes Syrup that was out of date and syrup has a long shelf life! Meats that had expired! We couldn't find anything in the store that we wanted that wasn't expired! 1 star, and honestly I wish I could give 0…read more I had an absolutely horrible experience at the Kennett Walmart. I was followed throughout the store by a man, including while I was shopping and even when I went toward the bathroom. At that point, I was uncomfortable and concerned enough that I decided to ask an employee/supervisor for help because I expected Walmart management to take a situation like this seriously. Instead, when I asked to speak with a supervisor, the response I received was incredibly dismissive. Rather than listening to what I was reporting or trying to understand what had happened, I was essentially told that I was in the wrong and that I needed to leave the workers alone because the person I was concerned about was supposedly "doing his job." That response was completely unacceptable. I wasn't asking for special treatment. I wasn't demanding that someone be fired. I was simply reporting that I felt like I was being followed throughout the store and asking management to address the situation. Instead of taking a customer's safety concern seriously, I felt blamed for bringing it up in the first place. What makes this even worse is that I was followed around enough that I felt the need to specifically seek out management. If a customer tells you they feel uncomfortable or unsafe because someone appears to be following them around the store, the appropriate response should be to listen, ask questions, investigate what is happening, and make sure the customer feels safe. Telling the customer they're wrong and need to leave employees alone is not how you handle a serious complaint. The way this situation was handled made me feel like my concerns didn't matter whatsoever. I left feeling frustrated, embarrassed, and completely disappointed in the management at this location. I've been to plenty of Walmart stores, and I've never had a customer-service experience quite this ridiculous. Being followed throughout a store is already uncomfortable enough. Having management respond by making the customer feel like THEY are the problem makes the entire situation significantly worse. Management seriously needs to train employees and supervisors on how to handle customer safety concerns and complaints professionally. Customers should not have to feel afraid to report something because they're worried management is just going to dismiss them or blame them. I would strongly recommend that Walmart corporate look into how this situation was handled, because the response from management was nowhere near what I would expect from a company of this size. This wasn't just poor customer service. It was a complete failure to take a customer's concern seriously. Extremely disappointed with the Kennett Walmart and especially with the way management handled my complaint. I will seriously think twice before shopping at this location again because ima beat someone's ass next time.
