Both were underwhelming, and failed to deliver on taste. The highlight of our visit was the Down the Hatch, an espresso based drink with vanilla and sweet cream. The dining room is small, and the team was struggling to keep it clean even though traffic was moderate. I was frustrated when I was unable to pour my tea ... the spout was at a trickle. She proceeded to make my Lavender Latte & I saw her pouring regular whole milk in the frother so I asked if that was Oatmilk & she stopped herself & said "No it's not. The pizza bread didn't have a chewy bread texture and was soft. My friend arrived and ordered a large Americano, a Cruffin, Tart -pastel de nata & savory tomato/cheese pizza twist Danish pastry. She loved the pastel de nata as it reminded her of Portuguese tarts. We sat on the wooden tables with benched seating & chairs. The sofas are soft but one fabric chair had stains on it. There are other small tables & barstools with counter seating. Nice natural light flows in. Bathrooms were clean & additional seating was outside on a deck. And to my surprise I find this place called "Brew K Cafe", the term hidden gem doesn't do it justice, this place in my opinion offers one of the best coffee I've had in a long time. They offer coffee, some meat items, bubble tea, lemonades among other items. Upon entering the establishment you see a good amount of seating for the size of the place, you are kindly greeted by the people behind the counter which usually are the proprietors of the restaurant. On this episode I got a "Dolce Iced Coffee", I kid you not it was one of my favorites. If you find yourself near Cibolo and you have a craving for something unique you have to give Brew K Cafe a try.
