We accepted that and designed an add and submitted it. My wife looked at our bank account and they took out double the price. Then on top of that the add was not submitted for the day agreed upon. We asked for a refund and withdrew the ad. We were told the money would be back in our account by the end of the day. Now it would be nice to tell you that happened, but that was not the case. They are very inept, unprofessional, and unorganized. No wonder newspapers have started to go by the wayside. Thanks Herald Democrat for making our parents 50th wedding anniversary so special, and turning it into a nightmare.

I am in shock with the delivery change. I could adjust to the 5 days but not the delivery by the…read moremail. This was a very very bad decision. It was bad enough not to get a Monday paper, but now no Sunday and it being delivered between 4-5pm when I have no time to read it. I gave cash and waited for what he was going to do which I never had any idea of.. After about 2 weeks or so, nothing. So I informed him I was pulling out from the services. He then scrambled to throw something together after I explicitly told him I was completely done to then put up a business profile for me within his business. I told Stan I would not be paying for any services because I've already made up my mind and withdrew, yet he insisted he would keep it up for a month taking on the cost himself. I never learned how to do anything whatsoever with the profile, nor was anything or even instructions conveyed to me until I sent emails to Stan stating so. In the end, I never used or benefited at all from using his services and 1 month later I got a charge to my bank from his business that I was never told about. I asked why, he explained and said he'd take care of it. This same occurrence went on for multiple months, even until today. He was very poorly at managing services and following through. At one point after a very steamed text from myself about this charge that never stops and was supposed to had been stopped, he settled by bringing me the amount I was charged. So why after all of this am I still receiving a charge almost 4 months later? Not sure, he finally will not respond. So now I am forced to cancel my bank card to receive a new number since Stan could or would not handle this simple task to appease a lost customer.
