We had a disaster when an insulation installer punched two huge holes in our bedroom and family…read moreroom ceilings and caused cracks in three other rooms. We were extremely distraught, fearing that our home would not be corrected properly and that its resale value would be significantly compromised. To complicate matters, we have popcorn ceilings and did not want three rooms with flat ceilings while the rest of the house remained textured. We decided to have the damaged areas corrected to match the existing popcorn texture. We asked the insulation installer to contact Humphrey Drywall of High Point, NC, as we had previously used them for a small job with excellent results. Brian and Speedy from Humphrey Drywall did a fabulous job restoring our ceilings to perfect condition. They are true miracle workers--there is absolutely no discernible difference between the repaired areas and the rest of the ceilings. They are one of the few drywall companies capable of working with popcorn ceilings, and they are the absolute best at their craft. I wholeheartedly recommend Brian and Speedy, at Humphrey Drywall, for any drywall or painting projects. If your home still has popcorn ceilings like ours, Humphrey Drywall is the only company to call.

These things matter more than price. The price just needs to be competitive! But anyway, we went three a couple weeks of waiting and then everything started clicking. After the new deck was up there was a little waiting period for the roofer to get there since we wanted a part of the porch to be covered. After that the county inspector came out and it was done. The deck ended up nicely done and sturdy. As soon as the major heat of summer is over, I'll give it a proper staining. Jeff and his crew did a great job and were responsive the whole time. Is there a zero star? This company is one of the most unprofessional group I've ever had…read moreencountered. They were hired through my insurance company and it was the worst experience of my life. I went through a year and a half of hell because of them. I could write a novel here but the bottom line is, they took Allstates money, hired what seemed to be a couple of men off the street and sent them to my house. The men spoke no English, weren't given full instructions and no one bothered to check up on the work. My floor was more ruined by them then by the water damage. They were told in Sept 2022, that they were responsible for fixing it correctly. They couldn't seem to find anyone who would work with them. Then they decided to refund me what "Allstate paid them" to find someone on my own. The refund only covered a third of the cost and was no where near what allstate actually paid them. Plus from the bill I was shown, they were paid for things they did not provide. The lack of communication with these men is also pretty ridiculous--- weeks, even months would go by without me hearing one word from them. Im doubting these men have ever even worked construction because they clearly have no concept of what's involved.
