I must say after reading reviews here I am surprised. I know most places there will always be some waiting involved. Some days more than others. Hey they take walk ins and sometimes it warrants it. I have been going here for at least 12 years and I wouldn't change this place for any other. It may not be fancy or up to date but they are professional and patient. i went there to tell them about a lose bring they put in last year and they told me i needed 4700 worth of work and then took out my bridge on the other side that was fine an made a mold for the old one. i have never had to pay out of pocket for any services before my insurance didn't change. they mad partials for me that were so uncomfortable and the metal on he roof of my mouth was annoying and i keep feeling like food got in between them. it was horrible after i get thid new bridge i a never going back! read more

The new owners are HORRIBLE! The work they did on me took 2 and half months just for new denture replacement and then my impression was lost, and they were cheaply made they had to start all over again. I had such a great experience at this dental office! Izzy was amazing -- she's super friendly, gentle, and made me feel completely comfortable the whole time. i used medicare and medicaid to get service at the dentist office. I had a chip on my bridge that I had done somewhere else that cost me $5000. But I went to this place cause they got an approval to do the bridge over. When they pulled the old bridge off the Phil and came out and they didn't stuff it in. They just put the new bridge on top of it. I had to get a root canal and now my teeth is very weak and it's fallen apart. I wish I had never done this bridge of the first four front upper teeth here. They also did a partial and never worked in my mouth and never fit correctly. read more

Although I had an appointment set for 3pm and being seen an hour and a half later. I was walked through the experience of what was going to be done during my teeth cleaning and was asked questions like am i allergic to latex because they have to wear gloves and if I wanted numbing gel prior to starting the procedure. Dr Picker is the worst dentist i ever .I still living the horrible night mare I went to him when I needed dentures. I think he made my dentures in his Garage. The top dentures is not balanced right its very thin the fix adent i i use cone right through into my gums .all food gets trapped in the dentures. I visited this establishment in December of 2020 expecting to get an x-ray and standard cleaning. I contacted the office prior to said appointment, the office staffer was very rude, obnoxious, unprofessional, and ill behaved5 that saying the least. I was told that my Insurance was not valid however, the information that was Used to verify my insurance was entered in their system incorrectly by one of their staffers previously. During that exchange I had asked the young lady at the counter to verify my information she began to projecting out loud my Social Security number with other patients sitting in the waiting area. I was overly annoyed that she would do something so irresponsible; of course I corrected her only to have the owner of this establishment Dr. Tad Picker, D.D.S accuse me of being rude for reacting to his staffers bad behavior. After conversing with Dr. Tad Picker it was clear and evident that he is a staunch racist who is incapable of anyone of color having an opinion and the wherewithal to speaking up for themselves. It was so unfortunate to know that the two young ladies causing all of this havoc was two Hispanic Dominican overworked and under paid misfit. Who are simply being used to cover up his blatant racism. I strongly advise Black people to stay far away from this EVIL racist piece of garbage. Do not patronize his business at all. read more

Worst orthodontist ever! The doctor had poor oral hygiene and would smell like cigarettes during my check ups. He only suggested braces on the top teeth but I obviously needed them on both sets. Also my brackets would fall out and get broken all the time. All the doctor would do is "adjust" the broken wire. Refused to replace any broken parts! This orthodontist was so bad I had to change doctors mid treatment. Stay away or go at your own risk! read more

I enjoyed my experience here, I came in for the first time and I was asked to sign in on the clip board out front, then I waited for the lady to call me in for X rays , then was promptly placed in the dental chair to get my cleaning which was pretty enjoyable since I normally don't enjoy being at the dentist. but once they cleaned my teeth I was greeted by the head doctor who told me I had my teeth in pretty good condition for a smoker, I was told that I had impacted wisdom teeth that would be an issue in the future which I remember being told when i was younger, he recommended me to a oral surgeon that would be able to take out the teeth. overall I had a good experience and I will be coming back in 6 months! read more

I loveeee this place!!! After searching for a GOOD dentist that took my insurance and didn't try and skim out of pocket costs. Service was GREAT, front desk staff are professional, answered ALL of my question with NO attitude I love that. I came in for bridge work and am VERY pleased. My only complaint; is the young ladies in the back with the personal conversations over patients. I didn't like that at ALL. Too much chit chat and their really isn't any privacy; the entire waiting area in the front can hear conversations in the back. The assistant are very nice, the higienists is also nice excellent professionals. The Doctor who diagnosed me dind't say his name, he was just like a normal day until I asked to see the x-ray of my Thoth. He asked me, do you know how to read x-ray with a bad attitude like his having the worst day of his life, (I know I was reading the wrong tooth because I confuse that I was looking from the patient side in which the left side is actually the right side I'm not used to be a patient) but anyways instead of explaining me that in a gentle way he was just asking again do you know how to read x-rays? are you a dentist? When I told him I was a dentist he was surprise and ask me again the same question like he never made a mistake in his life! I know that he has become a Dentist and that is a great honor which I'm proud of but every customer deserves first of all to know everything you discover in the diagnosis and any questions to be answers, second who is treating him, gentle treatment, respect; they are still people, human beens not just a Thooth seating in you chair to make you have the good life you are having right now. I'm sure he is not the only dentist in this office there are probably good dentist here I just didn't have the luck to be treat by them He is a light skin man, around over 50 years his hair is turning gray and he wear glasses. My first visit to this dentist's office was around 10 years ago and stopped using the facility due to the lack of leadership and professionalism. The staff is great, but management sucks big time and the quality of the business has dropped tremendously because they thread the place as the factory assembly line. Please don't waste your time going here! I had an appointment on 07/07/20 at 12 pm appointment. There were 6 patients in the waiting room, plus my wife and I. I was sitting there for 2 hours and had to leave. That is disrespectful to the patients and the staff who have to deal with the mad clients. At that time, I decided to leave, but not without telling the Dr. how I felt when I left the first time 10 years ago and now, that he was irresponsible for overbooking having a lack of resources and not thinking on his clients. You should take my advice to stay away from this place. When I complained to the Dr., he said nothing turned around and went back to his hiding spot. Horrible dentist office, outdated filing system, I have a bonding on my front tooth that he had to replace 4times already because the job he did was terrible. I have excellent insurance and he is trying to receive extra money. The place is dirty on decrepit... sink, seats, the staff is unprofessional. The employees in this office used to be very professional that's what kept me and my family going back for years. last week i went to have a root canal and while i was in the waiting area i heard the receptionist cursing and saying lots of ugly things after hanging a phone call. the waiting room turned quite, then my name was called and while the dentist was doing my root canal, his assistance and a co worker began a awful argument while I'm seating there wishing for the dentist to finish quick. i was tense because of the work being performed on me, so that hostile environment did not help me at all. The doctors here really don't care how you feel, the staff and nurses care more and show more respect then the doctors who do the work on you. They don't tell you up front what and what not to do while everything is going on. I don't recommend this place at all. Please don't waste your time going here! I've been going here for years, but the quality of the business has dropped tremendously. The receptionists are very loud, rude, and vulgar. I came here on 06/07/16 for a 12 pm appointment. There were 3 people, including myself, waiting to see the dentist. I sat for nearly 2 hours waiting to see the Dr. & the other 2 patients were there when I walked into the office! I can not imagine how long they had been waiting. After an hour and 45 minutes without being seen, I decided to leave. My mother had the same problem just a few months ago-- rude staff, and too long of a wait time. This office is the worst most unprofessional and disgusting office ever! The assistant are lazy and nasty, I have seen a worker wipe down the instruments with a wipe and place back for the next patient! Room was dirty, had other patients dirty instruments still laid out while calling another patient into room! They don't use proper machine to sterilize instruments and don't change drill they only wipe down and use on next patient. Most of all patients come back with infections in there mouth no matter what gets done. Doctors are very rude and only interested in your money. The doctor in the corner never changes his gloves. This place gets a one star from me only because the receptionists were actually friendly. When I got in the chair the actual dentist was very unprofessional and downright nasty with me. Talked to me like I wasn't supposed to ask him any questions abt my own teeth. Like I was supposed to just sit there and let him do whatever he pleased with my teeth. Today i was greeted by the receptionist , whom smelled like a pack of cigaretts, I sat and waited for my name to be called , went to take an E-Ray the girls were talking all this profanity and yelling, Dr. picker, walking back and forth as if he dont hear his staff. During, my X-ray i noticed Dr. Yuri walking around with the the same gloves on, As my X-Ray way over i remained there in the hallway as if i was looking for somethng and to my surprise Dr. Yuri was in the first room on the right going from one Patient to the next, the patients was side bu side just a small fold seperated the two sides, i peeped my head in and acted as if i was going to ask a question, at that point the Assistant was sitting on her phone in the corner. Then Dr. Yuri, came back to the first booth with the same gloves and asked the patient to open your Mouth up now while i take the guaze out your mouth ( Same Gloves ) I was so disguisted, i went to the front a Gentlemen was there at the time he was very kind and understanding I asked , is it me or does Dr. Yuri, not change his gloves at all, while i was engadged in this conversation with the young man in comes Dr. Yuri, with the same gloves on it and a speck of blood on the posterior side of the glove. at this point I left completly.. read more

I had a 5:30pm appointment for a cleaning and check-up. I confirmed the day before that I would be there. I had to leave work at 4:30 to get there which requires special permission. The trains were running very slow and I got there at 5:40. I called at 5:35 and spoke to the receptionist to tell her I was running there. She calls me back a couple of minutes later and tells me the hygienist had left for the day. How is that possible if my appointment was for 5:30 and I called at 5:35? She mentioned that they only give patients 5 minutes to come late but I called within 5 minutes. The only thing she could say was that there is another door to leave, so the staff and the receptionist do not speak to each other? I got there and spoke to the dentist and he could not do anything for me just X-rays even though I told him I was pregnant. I am so livid that I had to run to get to an appointment that was never going to happen. The only remedy was to reschedule even tough I made the appointment 6 months ago. OH HELL NO! On August 11th, 2011 I Ruth Carter visited B&B dentist office for a replacement of the (Central incisor) for bridge work for my teeth because they kept falling (they are the ones that installed them) professional my ( $@#%% ) and one had chipped in the root and needed a bridge to be made to replace it. Upon the dentist putting a temporary bridge in my mouth he ripped my gum line and told me to use some mouthwash and it would heal itself. (Head Doctor Dr. Picker )This caused me to have pain in my mouth for weeks. In May of 2012 I went to the same Dentist office for a simple cleaning, Because the other tooth started to fall out as well. I made several visits to the Dentist because they kept making mistakes with the replacement of the Central Incisor. On Aug 28,2012 I had an appointment 10:00 am at B&B dental and on my arrival I was told that the Dr. Smalline had retired and that Dr Pati would be my new Doctor I had mentioned that I was not happy with the bridge that the Head Doctor Dr Picker had put in. He even tried to shave down the tooth in my mouth and told me no one would notice when I told him about it. I then asked for another doctor because it seems to me Dr. Pati that just didn't know, or have enough experience to handle my simple procedure. Dr Pati he tried to install a temp bridge and it broke in my mouth during the procedure. I was really afraid when I was called in to get the new bridge in because he wanted to just put it in without me looking so I ask for a mirror and notice that the bridge teeth where to wide. The next bridge set didn't even match my teeth which had been on file. So when I asked why all the complications were taking place, considering my dental history was on record, I could never get a straight answer. One of the bridges that they brought to me closed the gap that I specifically asked to leave it as it is. The Dentist treated me as if I had no insurance coverage at all, as if I were coming in for them to do me a disservice I was treated dismissively all together, rushed out of the facility, and was told I was crazy. I am not happy with the lack of professionalism in which I was treated, and no one who is a paying for a service should get anything less than that. I had to find a new dentist and B&B refused to give me a copy of my records and x rays they said it would cost me $35.00 dollars to get a copy, they then told my husband that the file was out of the office when he made a request for it they told him on Friday September 7,2012 they wouldn't give it to him when he requested for it on Wednesday September 5,2012 I called 1800- dentist and they referred me to a dentist that would do the work but when they requested BB to send my history the Dr Picker on the other end said i will fax it when i get a chance this never happened. This was a very bad dental experience the WORST and I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to B& B because they don't care all they want is the money and to milk the insurance company Run When You See Any of these doctors and Some Staff Take IT Personal, But this is my mouth not yours. I was in New York on business and I decided to have a checkup and a clean at B&B Dental PC last week. The receptionist was very professional, warm and welcoming. The dentist was very thorough and took his time to explain things. The hygienist was friendly, thorough and a very good communicator. I would definitely recommend going there. read more
