Several areas were left unfinished, plants were poorly installed, and cleanup was inadequate. Communication throughout the process was frustrating, with delays and unanswered questions. When concerns were raised, there was little effort made to address them or correct the issues. Most disappointing was the cost. The final price was significantly higher than what the quality of the work justified. For the amount charged, I expected professional craftsmanship and reliable service, but unfortunately received neither. I would not recommend H&T Lawn & Landscape to anyone looking for quality landscaping work or fair pricing. There are far better options available that provide better value and customer service.

I told Ken what I wanted and he said he could turn our property into the envy of the neighborhood. I was skeptical at first. I needed flowers and shrubs. The side and rear of the house were just ugly dirt and gravel. I wanted a side patio of pavers and rear walkway to cover up the dirt and gravel on the sides of the house. A walkway from the rear walkway to the rear deck. There was a shed with a cement walkway that had to be removed. This was no small task. They tore down the shed and cement walkway and cleared out and leveled out the rear yard. They had to remove over 20 yards of dirt and rocks. They had to move a small tree from the middle of the yard to the corner. They planted new flowers and shrubs with existing ones put down new sod . Then install all the hardscape. It was quite a task. When it finally was finished I couldn't believe it was the same property. Now when buyers come to see the house the first thing they look at is the beautiful new yard. The workers had to excavate our existing concrete patio, re-grade my backyard (since it wasn't done correctly when my in ground pool was installed years ago), and prep the area before the pavers could be set down. The ceilings and painting came out beautifully. He was also able to remove all the old ceiling fixtures, vanities, mirrors, etc. Jonas was such a pleasure to work with, a true professional in every aspect. Jonas had good communication skills and kept me updated on the job's progress. (We weren't living in the unit.) He was a wealth of knowledge regarding best choice of paint and helping narrow down color choices. Because yes, my head was spinning the more I researched paint colors. Apparently it is recommended to choose paint by light reflective valve (which is based on windows and lighting) and also the underlying colors of you flooring and cabinets.) I went with his recommendation and was so happy I did. The condo looked bigger and brighter than my previous paint color. The trim and baseboards looked very clean. As a person who tends to have some OCD traits, I was happy with the neatness of all the painting. The workmanship of his team was excellent. I tried to contact management regarding my payment, but I did not receive the response or communication I expected. This was extremely frustrating and, based on my experience, very unprofessional. Subcontractors put in their time, labor, and expenses and deserve to be paid according to the agreement. If you are a subcontractor considering working with this company, please do your homework first. Make sure everything is in writing, including the payment terms, and keep records of all work and communication. I am sharing my experience so other people can be aware and make their own informed decisions before accepting work. For me, this was a horrible experience, and I would not recommend working with this company.
