I took my Cuetec Cynergy shaft here to have it re-tipped. Alex, the repair tech (and I believe shop owner), shaved my ferrule diameter thinner than the shaft. My ferrule is no longer flush with my shaft. A carbon fiber cue ferrule - especially a thin-walled, proprietary thermoplastic one like this, should never be turned under flush. This can potentially affect the shaft's deflection, overall playability, and possibly void manufacturer warranty. read more

I recently had B A Billiards relocate the pool table we've had for 50 years from San Diego to Los Angeles, and I was very impressed. It started when my friend called right after they had picked up the table - disassembling it for the move - and said, "They are real professionals, they knew exactly what they were doing, and they were fast!". A few hours later, they arrived, and we got to see the process in reverse. I had to agree that they were fantastic and really nice. They were careful with the table and our floors, and it was actually fun to see it being rebuilt. Less than an hour after they arrived, the table was leveled and ready to go. I would never have tried to move it myself with friends, being that it weighs 800 lbs, but also because if anything went wrong, it would be a big problem. I purchased a custom-made pool table on 07/27/2021 from "BA Pool Tables" located at 4843 Laurel Canyon Boulevard, Valley Village, CA 91607 Phone (888) 350-2414. The owner's son who I was dealing with is Jonathan Martinez. Jon has refused repeatedly to allow me to speak with his farther Becner A. Martinez, who is listed with the BBB as the owner. They also go by the DBA - USA Made Pool Tables - Sales and Service - www.usamadepooltables.com - sales@bapooltables.com. The time frame I was given for delivery was 12-16 weeks. When the table showed up for installation 24 weeks later, the installer sent by USA Made Pool Tables/BA Pool Tables informed me halfway through the installation that the table was defective and wiggled at the slightest touch. The installer then took the table away. I immediately requested a refund at that time via a phone conversation with Jonathan Martinez who refused to refund my money, claiming that they would build me a new table with expedited delivery. Many weeks later the installer refused to let them ship a second table because it too wiggled. He showed me a video they sent him which verified that the second table also wiggled. I again contacted Jonathan and requested a refund which he again refused to submit, promising to build a third table. Months later, BA Pool table and the installer claimed that a third table was shipped to the installer. However, after numerous requests to please deliver the table, they never did so. To date they have done nothing but lie and cheat. I strongly recommend that you do not do business with these people. read more

Didn't carry joint protectors unless you had a Predator. Only seemed to really carry Predator cues. Selection was terrible. Was also in the market for a new case. Again, selection was awful. One younger guy manning the place. Didn't seem to give a isht about anything. Place had a much bigger stock of apathy than it did billiard supplies. Came highly recommended by a friend I shoot with. My dad used this company to move his pool table years ago. It needed to be recovered so when we went to have it recovered we realized the table was missing rubber, missing all of the screws and it isn't level. We ordered our pool table and less than two weeks later BA Pool Tables delivered it and set it up in less than two hours. We expected it to take longer because of all the shipping issues right now. Not only that we wanted Simonis felt (worsted) which we had tried to order through 2 other dealers and they were only able to offer the standard felt. We've been planning our pool room since last winter when we spent a week in a Big Bear rental that had a pool table, so both my wife and I were here to watch. Jonathan supervised the whole assembly and when he applied the felt it was clear that he was a true craftsmen. I spoke to someone named Alex "Alejandro" and I was so disappointed by his attitude. First of all, he's rude and has no customer service skills. Second off, he really seemed like he doesn't care for my business. He stated that he will call me the following day with a quote and when he never contacted me, I attempted to call his at the end of the following day. He stated, " quotes take a really long time," i asked for the owner and he claimed he doesn't know his name. Lastly, he clicked the phone in my face.
