I took my Cuetec Cynergy shaft here to have it re-tipped. Alex, the repair tech (and I believe shop owner), shaved my ferrule diameter thinner than the shaft. My ferrule is no longer flush with my shaft. A carbon fiber cue ferrule - especially a thin-walled, proprietary thermoplastic one like this, should never be turned under flush. This can potentially affect the shaft's deflection, overall playability, and possibly void manufacturer warranty. read more

Just needed some tips repaired/replaced and they did a great job! I'm back to shooting like I should. Service was very friendly and I was in/out in less than 20 minutes. Will def be back! seems like they had all of the accessories and supplies there, too, so I know where to go if I "need" something right away. :D read more

My neighbor purchased a pool table from BA Pool Tables and I purchased it from her when she sold her house and had it moved to my Palm Desert house and later back to Los Angeles. They stored it for me for a few months while I was doing renovations before they moved it today to my home in LA today. Im happy to say that it was fun to watch them install it into my house and now I have a pool table ready to play on again! These guys are great! I have also been out to their store in North Hollywood and purchased items for my pool table including pool cues. They have a good selection and also are very knowledgable about tables, table care, products, etc. I know I can always call them for any advise, help or information. I highly recommend BA Pool Tables for all your Billiard needs! read more

I recently had B A Billiards relocate the pool table we've had for 50 years from San Diego to Los Angeles, and I was very impressed. It started when my friend called right after they had picked up the table - disassembling it for the move - and said, "They are real professionals, they knew exactly what they were doing, and they were fast!". A few hours later, they arrived, and we got to see the process in reverse. I had to agree that they were fantastic and really nice. They were careful with the table and our floors, and it was actually fun to see it being rebuilt. Less than an hour after they arrived, the table was leveled and ready to go. I would never have tried to move it myself with friends, being that it weighs 800 lbs, but also because if anything went wrong, it would be a big problem. What I saw with this team was that I had made the right choice having them move it - I'd definitely recommend this business to anyone. read more

Jonathan and Danny came to replace the old wool felt on our custom-made and inherited pool table. We had an attack of moths on some of our handmade wool area rugs unfortunately and those moths liked the felt on the pool table. Watching Jonathan and Danny take apart our pool table and recover it with brand new synthetic-based covering was like watching two brilliant artists at work. Thank you for the care and terrific job you both did. They also took our billiard table bumpers and recovered those and just returned them. They look awesome. Thanks for a custom job well done!!! read more

BA Billiards may not look like an exquisite treasure from the street, but once you pass the threshold and into the showroom, the sparkling of gems might overwhelm you! So many good things to choose from. We've purchased at least 8 cues from BA, and very much enjoy playing a few games while waiting to get my balls cleaned. A free service if you make a purchase! Alejandro is affable and very knowledgeable. He speaks Spanish and English, is a great at billiards, and no slouch at Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat! (Incidentally both machines you can also purchase here for your gaming lounge). And they have the right product for your budget... if you have thousands to spend on an avant guard design or are looking to pick up a used table at a discount, BA has it all! We also refelt our table once a year, and have upgraded to Simonis Tournament felts... AND they have the color you like. Slate grey has been a favorite of ours as of late, but this summer we're thinking of going with an outrageous pink or coral. Thank you Alejandro and team for the wonderful service! read more

My husband and I were shopping for a pool table and visited BA several times. Alex was very attentive and educated us about all the details such as styles, wood choices, felt colors, etc. Alex was so helpful and let us store the table we wanted for several months until our home remodel was completed. The delivery was easy and very professional. We are extremely grateful and love our table! read more

If you are serious about your game and your equipment, this is the place to go. For a couple of years now I have been a customer of Alex and Johnny and I plan on keeping it that way. I literally have gotten all my stuff here. From my Predator cues, gloves, chalk, case and training balls... all the way to getting my Simonis 860 cloth installed on my table at home. I got the Tournament Blue color and I love it. The speed of the table is awesome. It was the perfect upgrade. I posted some pictures so you guys can check it out. I could not be happier. I also visit Alex every time I want to replace my cue tip. He's got all the equipment needed to perform the work correctly. I would not trust anyone else. I plan on coming over soon to get my jump-cue. read more

I bought a pool table and all of the accessories from BA Pool Tables and I don't think I could find a better place or service anywhere else. The pool table is exactly what I was looking for and Alex was very gracious with the discount he offered. The delivery was very fast and installation was professionally done. Alex has a very nice personality and seems to be very knowledgeable about products he is offering. My experience was so great that I recommend this store to all of my friends who are looking for pool tables or any other games equipment. I also went back to buy accessories for a friend of mine to give him a birthday present. I will definitely recommend this store and Alex's services to anyone interested in game room equipment. read more

I purchased a custom-made pool table on 07/27/2021 from "BA Pool Tables" located at 4843 Laurel Canyon Boulevard, Valley Village, CA 91607 Phone (888) 350-2414. The owner's son who I was dealing with is Jonathan Martinez. Jon has refused repeatedly to allow me to speak with his farther Becner A. Martinez, who is listed with the BBB as the owner. They also go by the DBA - USA Made Pool Tables - Sales and Service - www.usamadepooltables.com - sales@bapooltables.com. The time frame I was given for delivery was 12-16 weeks. When the table showed up for installation 24 weeks later, the installer sent by USA Made Pool Tables/BA Pool Tables informed me halfway through the installation that the table was defective and wiggled at the slightest touch. The installer then took the table away. I immediately requested a refund at that time via a phone conversation with Jonathan Martinez who refused to refund my money, claiming that they would build me a new table with expedited delivery. Many weeks later the installer refused to let them ship a second table because it too wiggled. He showed me a video they sent him which verified that the second table also wiggled. I again contacted Jonathan and requested a refund which he again refused to submit, promising to build a third table. Months later, BA Pool table and the installer claimed that a third table was shipped to the installer. However, after numerous requests to please deliver the table, they never did so. To date they have done nothing but lie and cheat. I strongly recommend that you do not do business with these people. read more

My grandparents bought a pool table to give them something to do during the day. My grandpa loves to play pool so they thought it was a great idea. The gentlemen who set up the table were so kind and extremely helpful! They wore masks inside of my grandparents' home and did a fantastic job setting it all up. My grandparents also appreciated the sales person, Alex, that had helped them purchase the pool table and answered all of their questions over the phone. We are very appreciative of their wonderful customer service! read more

Extremely knowledgeable staff, friendly, I came in to purchase my first pool cue and after a few minutes of talking to the staff I was able to test my cue out and after that first shot I was sold and wondered how I went so long with out having my own cue. Highly recommended BA billiards for all you pool needs. read more

I was sure they'd have a range of interesting pool supplies. Came here for new tips but always am open to finding a new cue. They were out of tips, had only a few stragglers which no one wanted. Didn't carry joint protectors unless you had a Predator. Only seemed to really carry Predator cues. Selection was terrible. Was also in the market for a new case. Again, selection was awful. One younger guy manning the place. Didn't seem to give a isht about anything. Place had a much bigger stock of apathy than it did billiard supplies. Came highly recommended by a friend I shoot with. Unfortunately, I made a pretty long drive and left empty-handed and disappointed. read more

My dad used this company to move his pool table years ago. It needed to be recovered so when we went to have it recovered we realized the table was missing rubber, missing all of the screws and it isn't level. Alex said the only thing he could do to help was mail replacement screws for us to do ourselves and to hire them to re-felt it. Not happy. Less than satisfied. read more

B A Billiards - Love my BA pool table!! - Pool & Billiards Near Me - Los Angeles, California

We ordered our pool table and less than two weeks later BA Pool Tables delivered it and set it up in less than two hours. We expected it to take longer because of all the shipping issues right now. Not only that we wanted Simonis felt (worsted) which we had tried to order through 2 other dealers and they were only able to offer the standard felt. We've been planning our pool room since last winter when we spent a week in a Big Bear rental that had a pool table, so both my wife and I were here to watch. Jonathan supervised the whole assembly and when he applied the felt it was clear that he was a true craftsmen. It may sound ridiculous but we have had many different levels of quality when it comes to our home, so it is a relief and a true joy to get the best. Thank you Jonathan, Alex and everyone at BA Pool Tables! read more

This place is a JOKE!!!!! Stay away. I found this place on google and decided to contact them to get a quote on restoring and refelting a Brunswick pool table. I spoke to someone named Alex "Alejandro" and I was so disappointed by his attitude. First of all, he's rude and has no customer service skills. Second off, he really seemed like he doesn't care for my business. He stated that he will call me the following day with a quote and when he never contacted me, I attempted to call his at the end of the following day. He stated, " quotes take a really long time," i asked for the owner and he claimed he doesn't know his name. Lastly, he clicked the phone in my face. I called back again and tried another attempt to get the owners name and again he stated, "he doesn't know." I CANT BELIEVE LOSERS LIKE THIS ARE STILL IN BUSINESS!!!!! read more

I play pool once a month with my buddies but I would like to devote more time to it. Tired of playing with warped and beat-up house cues, I dropped by BA to buy my own stick. As a first-time buyer, I had a lot of questions. Alex was very helpful and answered all my questions patiently and guided me to an awesome cue that was in my price range. It helped to have their pool table right in front of me to test everything out. I do not know how anyone could buy a cue unseen from some place like Amazon and really know if they got the best value, unless they were to buy ten cues and return nine of them. That's why I am really glad physical stores like BA are still around. These guys are pros and sell everything connected to billiards and have many gorgeous tables for sale. Highly recommended. read more

What an awesome store! The staff was super helpful and catering. Just tables on tables on tables. If you're looking for luxury pool tables, they have some really interesting ones. Assortment of balls, even had some with Elvis' face on them! (And they have team specific football ones too.) Plenty of sticks and any kind of accessory you might be looking for as well.
