One of the biggest problems is that they only offer you about a third of what they turn around and sell your items for, and honestly, even that feels generous sometimes. You could bring in perfectly good, name-brand items that are still in great condition, only to be offered an amount that feels like a complete joke compared to what the store will eventually charge a customer. I understand that resale stores need to make a profit, but there is a difference between making a reasonable profit and making sellers feel like their items are practically worthless. It is incredibly frustrating to see how little they are willing to pay people for their merchandise when they know they can turn around and sell those same items for significantly more money.

A workplace should not be somewhere employees dread going.
