Variety of bread in a bag. Small pieces but very fresh and easy to store.
Diane C.

This unsuspecting little corner market packs quite a bit of surprises! They have pre packaged bags of pan dulce at front window. Incredibly impressed by the flavor, softness and freshness! I found unique spices and cubes of bouillon for Columbian, Argentinian, Puerto Rican cooking. Very specific flavors not at the average supermarket. They had a pretty good variety of fruits and vegetables too like plantains for Salvadoran cooking as well. Its well worth the drive. I'd go again for the little variety packs of pan dulce!!

Crispy pork skin

I came in for the fresh tortillas. They were sold out, so I bought some thicker ones. I love the butcher shop. Everything looked great. I got two Tamales one chicken one pork. The pork was my favorite. I hear they have Carnitas cooking here on the weekend, I will return. Everyone here was super sweet and helpful. This is a lovely neighborhood market. It has many Latin items just a stone's throw from my house. Its small and won't have everything you want but might have a few choice items you need for a particular dish. I loved the selection of dried chilis. The Flank Steak in the butcher's counter looked really good.

My favorite chicharrón. Specially if you get it fresh around 10 am.I have never had a bad experience at this market.

Their location makes it easy to fill up and be on my way in no time. Depending on the time of day, the traffic can make it a little difficult to get out and back onto the surface streets. I like this seven eleven. I live nearby and it's very convenient, just like a 7-11 should be. The…read moreservice is fast, and that's really all you want from 7-11. The coffee isn't really coffee, more like coffee flavored water. It varies in quality. Tip: if you can see through it, it's not coffee. It's got the nachos, and guess what? People actually eat the hotdogs at this place on a pretty regular basis, that means if you get one chances are they won't have sit there for hours and be all dry and shriveled. This place has you covered on all your beer/malt liquor and junk food needs. Oh and did I mention slurpees? The man who invented the slupee surely deserves a Nobel prize. It reminds me of the 7-11 on lower ocean when I lived in Santa Cruz. What with all the bums and gangsters (wannabee or otherwise). This place is real. The the older I get though, the more the homeless irritate me. But still I must say I admire the fortitude of these San Rafael bums, these guys are sucking down multiple cans of four loko and 211 steel reserve at 8:00 am. If only there was some kind cheap booze drinking Olympics, we'd have the dream team here in San Rafael. Overall I'd say four stars, but since most of the employees appear to be Indian (or something). I'm going to have to give it five stars. And also because these guys really keep the lines moving fast, I really am grateful for that(now don't screw it up guys).
