Was going to hang out with hubby while he was going to get his haircut when I saw this store. After slowly browsing all the shelves I discovered a freezer in the back of this store that had half gallon containers of Mitchell's ice cream!!! I am born and raised in The City and if you've ever gone to Mitchell's ice cream shop in San Francisco or even had some of their ice cream then you would know the excitement I felt upon seeing these! I grew up eating this ice cream and oh the many flavors they make (internally shrieking with happiness as I calmly walk to the front register). I chatted for a bit with the shop girl and quickly told my hubby next door that they had Mitchell's. Needless to say he was thrilled to learn as well. We both went in and couldn't agree on a flavor together so he just let me pick what I wanted. Is that love or what?! I quickly chose Rum Raisin (one of my faves) and brought that half gallon to the counter with joy.
