There is plenty of parking available and the clock tower is a pokemon go gym. They got a book drop around the corner and they also have a 3D printer. They got a self check out for when you are ready to take your books home. Almost every Saturday they have a speaker or an event going on to help the community. They have read a book day, arts and crafts and even national free comic book day. There are lots of computers free to use with internet and they also provide printing services. When I was in high school I would love goin to the library and as an adult I will admit I dont go as often as I did back then but I highly recommend visiting your local library.

The lighting is just right, the staff is kind, and there's a great selection of books. There are quite a few screens around where you can search for books, and it's pretty easy to find what you're looking for. The aisles are also well indicated, with signs showing what each section contains. Signing up was easy, and getting a library card and checking out some books was a very straightforward process. The only thing I would say is that they don't seem to keep the noise down as much as you'd expect in a library. I'm guessing they're encouraging teenagers to spend more time there, which is great, but it does make the whole experience louder for everyone else. Plenty of free parking outside, too.

I had no idea the classes/programs they offer for free for toddlers Monday thru Thursday! All the classes are in the morning and are interactive. On Friday, there are no classes but the children's area always has a variety of toys out so I was able to take her there to play. They change the toys out daily so it always seems like something new. If you need to wear out a toddler so they're ready to eat and take a nap, this is the place to go! I'm so appreciative of the Euless Library!

That said, I REALLY enjoy the Roanoke Library. My wife and I moved to Roanoke in July 2011, and I kind of stumbled across this little gem. Here's a summary: - It's small. Cozy, but not too small - every time I go, there's only one or two patrons in the whole place. - Free Wifi. A lot quieter to study/work here than Starbucks. - They carry fairly new items (in my category of interests, anyway). I managed to secure the Steve Jobs biography on hold, within a few weeks of publication. Beats spending the money on Kindle. - A part of the TexShare program, which allows me to borrow books from other libraries after being a local cardholder for 6 months. - Good movie selection, and blu-rays. Current stuff, stuff I would think would be "too new" for the library. Also, the week-long policy for movies is a plus. - Decent online holding and renewal system. I can check out a book for 2 weeks, but renew it up to 5 times online. Wow! That's cool. All in all, this childhood place of memory has re-entered my list of favorite places - good resources, friendly staff, and a quiet environment.

The management of the library system seems to be doing some great new things. Each time I go in, I am able to find new books that are current and are of interest to me. There are a lot of computer terminals for those individuals looking to gain access to the internet. This is a very comfortable library now and a strong library system for such a small little community.

What could be better? Well I will tell you, they also have a genealogy center. Do you need a quiet room for a zoom? They've got you covered. Need to borrow a computer and print out your resume? Got it. They even have a wall dedicated to job hunters, with flyers showing you local businesses who are hiring. But it is not just books, they have the STRANGEST collection of things you can check out. For example, bongos. Yes bongos. Also metal detectors and sewing machines. New to the area and would like to meet people and learn to play mahjong? I believe that is on Thursdays. This is also where I come to perform my civic duty and vote on all things from school boards to presidents. Libraries are an important community resource and their value is immeasurable. They are the original search engines. An entre building offering knowledge, entertainment, and resources. You can do a great service to your community just by signing up for a library card.

Some good, some bad…read more For students, this is the primary space to find a guaranteed quiet space for work, to print using your MavID, where to go to utilize the FabLab, or to get Einstein Bagels. The basement is a more open student area, with vending machines. Additionally, if you walk down there and immediately look to your left, you should see exercise bikes and treadmills fitted with surfaces to read or study while working out. There are only a couple, so they are first come, first serve. The 6th floor is a big open space with very little furniture, and offices. Great view from the window, however. The other floors are a mix of "quiet floors" and study floors, and the legend on each floor should tell you. The majority of the students hang on floor 2, which is not a quiet floor, but offers the freedom to talk, numerous desktop computers that can be utilized logging in with your MyMav credentials and a tutoring station. Additionally, if you are looking for a small convenience store, this is your spot. Nearly every floor has study rooms that require a reservation. This is the biggest downside - you have to scan the QR code, or type the website, and when you do, you will notice that most rooms are reserved for months out. If you want to reserve a room (particularly one for midterms or finals) I suggest exploring your options by the 3rd week of the semester. The library is 24 hours (with a few exceptions), but if you are a guest (not a student, or a student that does not have a UTA ID) then you will be asked to leave at midnight when UTA Police come around for ID check. From what I have been told, this is due to a previous issue with homeless people sleeping in the library. If you wish to take advantage of the library, but you are not a student, a drivers license will grant you access at the front desk, and the second floor has a guest computer that you can login to. If you can, check out the trees directly in front of the library during the holiday season - the trees are decorated with UTA blue and orange lights. Happy studying!

I went to the charging station, but the chargers were VERY slow to charge. They would not charge above 9%. This was disappointing. I went home to make certain that my phone was working and it worked with other chargers. Printing is 10 cents a page for black and white. The printing machine was very easy to use. The library was clean and organized. It was very hard to move around in a wheelchair . It would be beneficial to have more ADA wheelchair spaces. The renting policies for books and videos are great.
