I wish I had taken pictures! Mr. Charlie & his crew are beyond a shadow of a doubt absolutely amazing. My mom came down with a 20 ft trailer and we had all of my big ticket items we needed loaded and I had some boxes if they had time. For starters, they got to my place early and hit the ground running. Constant communication of what I needed and where I wanted things. They packed the trailer perfectly and knew we had to go 7-8 hours on the road/interstate to get to my new place. They loaded it all perfectly and efficiently. They didn't complain once and the whole time were happy to do the job. They treated my stuff with the upmost care and were gentle. They got my stuff from upstairs with no problems and didn't even get close to hitting one wall. They tied down everything to the point that nothing would move. They originally moved me into this very townhome so it was fitting they moved me out. They did amazing then and even more so this time. The pricing was absolutely affordable. They had all of my stuff loaded and tied down in an hour and 15 mins. The quote I was given, was exactly what we paid and Mr. Charlie was awesome communicating throughout the entire experience, he even was up on the trailer and working with the guys. I wish I could've taken them with me to move me in. Overall I cannot speak enough positive about them. If you want efficient, gentle, wonderful care with moving, they are who you need to go with. Have used them 5 times in the last 10 years (we move a lot) and have been satisfied with their service, including fixing a broken glass table top that was damaged during one of the moves. However... this time was a bad experience. We just needed two pieces of gym equipment and a part of a sectional sofa moving from the house to a shed we have converted to a gym. The distance is maybe 200 feet and they carried everything - no vehicle needed. $275 for 15 minutes work (their minimum hourly rate). During their time on site one of them noticed our fruit trees and I gave them a bag so they could take some home. One of them obviously ate one and left the peels scattered in my driveway. When moving the gym equipment, they hit the drywall and created a hole. They said they would repair the hole but not color match/paint the "repair". How is that "repairing" if I am left out of pocket to make their mistake whole? Charlie Weaver admitted it was him who had littered my property, but was adamant that their policy is only to repair the wall, not make it to how it was before they arrived. When I mentioned the $275 for 15 minutes work, he said it included the hour round trip for his crew. The policy/contract says that the clock only starts when they arrive - why would I pay for their time/gas before they arrive? If you are in the moving business the cost of getting to a job site is part of your business overhead. When talking to Charlie I expressed several times that "repair" means making things whole. He hung up on me. He sent me a copy of the contract which states "repair only" but those words were in a different font and spacing from the rest of the contract. Our company hired Azalea City to move our office. Unfortunately, the day before our scheduled move, I had to call and postpone one day. Charlie Weaver, who owns the company was friendly and professional, nonplussed by my need to reschedule, and fit me in for the next day. I called several movers before selecting Azalea City, and Mr. Weaver gave us the best price, was the most flexible, and was completely polite each and every time I called. The movers were a little late, but Mr. Weaver called me and let me know, and stayed in communication with me the whole time. The movers were quick, efficient, and four offices worth of furniture was moved flawlessly. I have no idea what the previous reviewer found so horrible about Mr. Weaver. Showed up BEFORE scheduled time. Packed up and unloaded in no time. Three super nice guys! Made moving day way less horrible. So glad we stumbled on to them. One star only because I can't give zero. They moved us after we were married and conveniently several brand new unopened goods never made it to our home and what furniture did actually make it was horribly scratched. They tried to cover it with a wood crayon but the gouge was so deep it only accentuated it. They also scratched the newly refinished hardwood floors with their dollies and refused to acknowledge they did anything wrong. When I called the owner to inquire about the whereabouts of our items, he in not so many words told me that we should have noticed and notified him that day that our items were gone and checked the truck for them. Please don't waste your money on this company, do yourself a favor and spare yourself from a few headaches and inconveniences. read more

These guys were great! The company owner was so friendly and helpful. We were scheduled to move between 7:15 and 7:30...the movers were outside and ready to go at 7:14! They moved quickly, quietly and were very nice, too. I contacted about 5 other moving companies before getting recommended to Azaela City Moving and they were the best, most reasonably priced! I would like to write a positive review; however, I can't. On moving day, the movers showed up earlier than expected. I was told to expect the movers after lunch (per the owner). This did not happen. The movers called saying they were on their way before the previous set appt. time. I was not home when they called so I ended up not moving the day as intended. The owner said it was a "communication problem" which was another way of not admitting guilt on their end. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

We used this company to move my elderly parents into a retirement home. The guys who actually moved the furniture were good, but the owner of the company, Charlie Weaver, was rude and extremely difficult to deal with. The move was already stressful due to the situation and his attitude made it much worse for my parents and the rest of us who were trying to make the move go smoothly.
